Just bought a Gardena Select 1891. Spent an hour trying to work out how to program it as the instruction manual is completely hopeless. It just says select schedule, set schedule, confirm schedule, device programmed - with no information whatsoever how to do any of these actions. This video helps a bit but still gives no information on how to make any changes to an existing setup or how to use the override function. There is no excuse for not providing some detailed information with the product. I have used several gardena watering systems for the last 10 years or more but not sure that I would ever buy another one after this dreadful experience.

@@GardenaWorldwide f you have any information that I can print out and keep with the unit on how to amend a set schedule for a specific day or to switch days off and on that would be helpful as this is not covered by the youtube video or the manual. It assumes that once set up you will never want to change it. I want to be able to print things out as I never know if I would be able to find something relating to this on UA-cam at a date in the future

I fully agree with the Gardena Select users who complain about the utterly hopeless instruction manual provided with the device. Please place usable instructions on your website. Seriously rethinking buying any other Gardena product.
Having an exact same issue here. Haven't been able programme after 2 days. Waste of money.
hi. i have the following issue. the programmer was working properly and suddenly one day it outputs very small amount of water. Like the valve opens a little bit. Should this be a battery problem or something else?
How long does the 9V battery typically last? I do understand it will depend on the frequency of opening and closing, so lets say twice a day (2 open, 2 closed) every day of the week.
Um, all this runs on a battery? I'm not sure it's a durable solution. Perhaps have an option to plug in a socket?

no that's not a problem. The irrigation control only opens and closes the valve.

Purchased the 1891 model several days ago finding the instructions inadequate.Wishing to alter the watering days has proved hopeless.I am not alone it seems judging by previous comments on this video.Very disappointed.
Non si capisce se tutti tre i programmi P1, P2 e P3 si succedono automaticamente ogni giorno, all'ora programmata, oppure se viene eseguito un solo programma al giorno, (sperabilmente quello scelto), fino a quando ne viene scelto di un altro.
La domanda è: si possono programmare TRE irrigazioni ad ore diverse del giorno (di durata identica o diversa)? Non c'è indicata la frequenza giornaliera: sembra che esegua UNA SOLA VOLTA AL GIORNO UN PROGRAMMA.

sfortunatamente non possiamo vedere di quale centralina per irrigazione parla (non c'è il video).
Probabilmente si tratta del computer per irrigazione Select articolo 1891-20. Si, i programmi P1, P2 e P3 si succedono automaticamente ogni giorno all'ora programmata. Esegua tre programmi con una durata di
1 Min. - 7 Std. 59 Min al giorno.

@@GardenaWorldwide It looks like you are receiving lots of bad comments on your videos and I am also researching your product reviews but it is difficult to find good informations. In this video, you see pictures in movement but they fail at showing how the product works etc. I offer myself to become a tester and I am sure there are other people out there who will.
