That sure is a nice W123, and quite amazing condition for age and ks showing. Has a lot of nice extras like the tachometer /clock combination, (standard just come with clock), most W123 manuals were 4 speed, just the last of them had the 5 speed option.
Yes. you are right, This car is kind of optional one.
You should do a dry cleaning for the seats, you’ll be impressed of the results

There is one in the U.S. I am looking at, that only has 34k miles. It’s pristine!
wow 34k miles, it should be wonderful. my has 380k Km but still feels brand new.
heated seats for W123 in its era is very rare! even most of them doesnt come with electric windows, especially model like 200,230E,250,200D,240D and 300D… mostly 280E will see higher options… my family had before an W123 300D back in 1977… the car only comes with Power Steering, Central Locking System, AirConditioning and a 4-Speed Manual Transmission…
yes, you are right. Before this car I had a White 1985 w123 230E and it was kind of full option car. climate control, power windows and... but NOT heated seats.

No they have 2 levels of heating and its not that much hot.

The E on 230E means Executive NOT injection as the word injection stsrts with" i " and not " E"
no you are not right,it's a german word E for Einspritzung (fuel injection).
the difference between 230 and 230E is the engine.
W123s (1976-1980) have M110 engine which has a carbirator but w123s (1980-1985) have M102 engine and 230E here means fuel injection.
Correct Einspritzer. Germans in the 80s would call things in the car first German and then maybe english translated in some parts. In modern cars they use English for everything unfortunately.
