lol when you expect cheap moves to just be guranteed. people need to think before you speak. you have 2 UNBLOCKABLES. 1 that gives s and god tracking. then a move that works like itachis burnout amerteratsu move. just because its a genjutsu doesnt mean its gonna cater for your lack nof skill. learn how to combo in the game to land the ability. not cry cause i cant find a build exploit to get free 1 shots. this aint xenoverse cause if it was it would die from its own toxicity. cause yall want broken crap to land for free with 0 thought. which makes the game a boring 1 shot fest. do you know how strong a healer is. how much damage they can do or healing output? the only class strong enough to down easy with 0 sweat is brawlers. defense its 5050 and range its like not much of a chance. since range is the weakesty class in the game.
The biggest problem with this jutsu, for me, is that the damage and debuff only happens when the move finishes and it doesn’t take/seal their substitution so it’s not even a good distraction for team set ups! The debuff at least should be instant. Just look at mind transfer jutsu, shorter range but it has no line of sight requirement, takes away some ult gauge, stuns the enemy, and deals good damage, but if a teammate interrupts the jutsu, the enemy still lost some ult and took at least a little damage from the teammate’s attack.
As someone casually interested in this game i have to say : this ability looks like it can't decide being some sort of long duration disable or combat stun with dmg... and since it does both in an okayish way, the devs decided to nerf it by adding a long star up. To me they should choose either : -make it like an ana stun/banish moove (out of combat for a long time but can't take dmg/dmg stop the CC) - or lean into it's debuff + dmg side and also either : - remove the crazy long start-up with low tracking - if not then super buff the effect picked above to warrant the other ability slot to set it up, basically making it a 1 ability kit for the cost of it being super powerfull.
Timing is everything, you can hit tsukyomi when they are guarding, throwing kunai, when they use any justu with a start up, or when you charge and hit them into a stun animation.
As someone who hasn't played Shinobi Strikers or cares about Naruto, your commentary on every play really makes me excited by this game and the possibility of getting you on the mic for some tournaments of this game if it's even possible to set up something like that in it
I'm running shadow stranglation with Itachi's yasaka beads and it works pretty well, the shadow stranglation slows movement speed and then I can just spam yasaka beads and it's game over. Itachi is the least heal type dlc in the game which is awesome
I don't know if anyone commented this, but around the 4:10 mark, the reason the stun didn't hit him is because it's actually not its own thing. The enemies only get stunned if they were hit by the initial cast
The lava combo actually can be guaranteed with a dash light attack that puts them in a stun animation then use the genjutsu and lava style you dont need a range to do it.
I’ll quickly breakdown how to keep enemies in the Tsukuyomi while hitting them and what knocks them out. There are several animations in this game when getting attacked. Charge attacks stun the enemy, so they will get knocked out. Charge attack is the lunge. Attacks that put the enemy in a tumble knock them out as well. The second attack of the heal type auto combo is a stun so they get knock out from that as well. So when you catch someone use first light attack chakra cancel with heal type or light attack dash light attack for less damage but easier to do.
@HiDDEN ROSE hopefully he sees this. It’s really not all that different from Amaterasu at least the activation. He just pops it like it’s instantly going land on the target no matter what 😭
Tsukuyomi is great for a normal heal type build you can lock someone out of the battle but if you're looking for a combat build then you have to attack people first and use Tsukuyomi while they are in hit stun. And if you wanna do a damage build for a heal type Shadow Stitching into Nervous System rupture is still the highest damage output on a target and you can combo after it. Tsukuyomi is just good for getting someone out of a fight and nothing more.
Shadow strangle with heavy boulder could make for some decent picks. Should be easier to hit opponents with the shadow. You wouldn’t have much healing still, but you could compensate for that with a healing ult like miotic regen and an outfit with a secret technique gauge fill buff.
I do fine with it honestly, it hit pretty much every time if you basic combo into it and you can use the time run or combo it with an explosive kunai to get some damage after they wake up

I don't do PVP, but I have played a lot of S Rank missions with Itachi's loadout, and if you've ever played an S rank mission you know how ridiculous it can get. lol. But I run his full loadout and I do pretty good in PVE, I can hold my own and cooldown times on subs is not really a big problem. But as I stated I don't do PVP so I'm sure there's a big difference when it comes to play styles, love the video.

It lowers attack, lowers attack speed, lowers tracking. If a ninjutsu with those properties was an easy hit, I would uninstall. You need a degree of skill to land those debuffs. You either good or you try something else
I have been running tsukuyomi with crimson drizzle. Attack with crimson drizzle to get the attack buff, combo into tsukuyomi to stun, then the combo (with the buff) and small damage from tsukuyomi secures the kill. Plus if you manage to just paralyze someone with the shockwave you can (sometimes) land the genjutsu. I'm getting my timing down still but I think it has potential. I also use the Uchiha Shuriken ult for a bit more healing/combat

4:05 I'm guessing that for the 2nd Izanami effect to hit, the opponent need to get hit with the 1st effect as well. Since the range type wasn't caught in the loop, he won't get stunned.
I feel like the jutsu works better with the substitution as you can lock them in position right after you sub out, also I think the last build was meant to use shadow stitching instead cause it can hit people in the air more easily, keeps the enemy in place and lowers defences
Aye this comment doesn’t get enough love! This is so true! Also now with some other crazy attacks like both of Baryon mode naruto they either have slow start up or cool down time to you can punish them with Tsukyomi as well. That sub combo though is awesome!
Shadow into tsuko is pretty good it’s one of my main healer builders I just recommend using a different weapon like the mifune blade or needle THEN u can one shot someone because they come out of tsuko straight into an infinite combo it’s absolutely dirty in survival. And shadow can hit in air, but only at a specific distance so my advice is if u see someone dashing to u you back dodge and immediately shadow possession, works most of the time
still difficult to land on a moving opponent, mind transfer has better tracking but really all you have to do is get behind it and the person is a sitting duck. that being said if youre fast enough you can try to pop tsukuyomi off before they hit, but the damage isnt worth it in the end
I actually think they meant shadow stitching, you can insta-kill with shadow stitching and either heavy boulder jutsu or heavenly foot of pain so it makes sense

Globku, is there a way to do free for all with my friends? We’ve recently gotten back into shinobi striker but are unable to figure out how to fight one another. How do you do demonstrations of Jutsu for the new characters with your friends?
I believe in order to make it better it needs way better tracking, and a lot more damage output, the time it stuns people is good, oh and also make it so the only way it stops it is from the heavy attack that way you can hit them and still get the damage from it. I think this buffs could make it one of the best which healers really do need
So i been experimenting with the justu a lot but i finally understand that its supposed to be more for a support type style you can keep important people out of fights like a range type doing too much damage, a aggressive attacker, a defense type keeping your team off a base or a healer healing ive been using tsukuyomi with paper bomb kunais because most of the time when i stick someone with a kunai they bring it back to their teammates and it explodes or it explodes and kills them as long as i can disable someone while supporting my team it works i’ve stopped so many people running away with the flag just by casting tsukuyomi on them or throwing a kunai on them you can almost guarantee a hit with it if you throw the kunai first so they somewhat get staggered then cast tsukuyomi right after they take the damage from the justu then take damage again a few seconds when the explosion goes off. tsukuyomi is also good for stopping people from guarding or people in the middle of casting a justu i stopped so many people aiming at my teammates with majestic its a life saver in the right hands. I have some clips on my channel of gameplay if anyone wants to see.
It's meant to be mid range assist move. Atleadt in my opinion. Since if the target is fighting someone there's a good chance the move will hit, target takes some damage and gets stunned and the ally has a large gap of time to heal or whatever

Well I don't think healers need high damage output anyway. It's always stated that they support the team from the side lines, imagine dealing with a high damage healer that can keep healing
TSukoyomi is more designed as a supporting role and coordination with your team.Ilke for exaple your teamate is atrgeted and just cant get rid of the enemy so you come while enemy is focused on your teammate and then you do if posible a timingly placed tsukoyomi wich then so to say not only cancels combo or jutsu attack that was ment for your teammmate but also by putting enemy i tsukoyomi y7ou give your teammate time to escape/recover or counter attack alongside you. Thast what Tsukoyomi is all about to be more of a supportive help out alongside if properly done can prove a deadly trap for the enemy player bcs he/she risks beinng stopped and then pummeled even thou he/she was initialy wining the fight.
Tsukuyomi seems like it would benefit from ult, the stun keeps them stuck until you can do literally any ult, like hinata's to destroy their ult gauge. also what if you did Tsukuyomi first before shadow strangle? I'd say my build for it would be Tobirama's ninja blade, Tsukuyomi, Maybe one of the Sakura smash abilities? and then something big as an ult, shadow explosion, the fog, anything that benefits from them being stuck in an area with you
Now this messes up my head I'm about to buy the Shinobi striker and I'm currently picking on what character I buy and main(I'm currently picking between Minato,Itachi,Sasuke)it's so hard sieng how much u struggle on trying to put the enemy's on your tsukuyami
to be honest though the dlcs for this game are pretty cheap though compared to other games. you just said 3 different character types though, so if you want to pick, figure out which character type youd want to run. minato is an attack type, itachi is a healing type and sasuke is a ranged type.
i have a feeling that this Jutsu can let you land Particle Style Atomic Dismantling more easily, along with that i think it could definetly work with nervous system Rupture, chakra Scalpel, eight trigrams air palm, etc. yeah you probably won't get the full effect of Tsukuyomi but you can land a bunch of Jutsu more easily which probably makes this a really good combat healer type Jutsu or generally a good healer type Jutsu considering how you can leave someone open for an ally to attack. i probably might buy the Itachi DLC to test this stuff but i dunno yet
Honestly the best jutsu to run with it is Yasaka beads lol…… so you’ll have to run around with Itachi ninjutsu. Still works well with poison fog tho considering you can stop their movements with tsukiyomi and watch them die .
In ny opinion its supposed to be used as a coubter example If someone is using majestic the loading yome for the jutsu can be interupted using tsukoyomi

Unless you got one of the rare esoteric weapons your regular combo strings are limited and fairly slow, your movement is also slow, and your jutsu are tailored more on the support style. Healing was the only thing that made them unique and hard to manage if you get someone skilled with their healer. So taking away healing from a healer is just not a good idea. Tsukuyomi is best when used on a team, like an actual team, where you guys can properly strategize. Not just a bunch of randoms strung together. Or you can use it when someone is blocking. Thats all i got
Honestly its a pretty good jutsu i would say.It cant be blocked so pretty good against people who just stand and spam block and goes through water pillar and sandshield.Also i paired tsukyomi with heavenly foot of pain from tsunade and works pretty well together

Globku have you considered this build of tsukuyomi and Amaterasu since of the rule of tsukuyomi as long there’s no any sort of knock back jutsu won’t break meaning you can stack above each other without canceling tsukuyomi probably best used for it to snipe unaware enemy
I suggest using it with shadow stitching first u do a dash attack to bait out subs once subs are gone doing a dash attack will stun them giving u enough time to hit them with stitching and land tsukyomi and with the damage increase it can one-shot I like to use umbrella for my weapon
My two cents on connecting kagemane mid-air: it should hit. Shikamaru locked Hidan with it, at some point Hidan jumped to dodge Shikamaru's kage shuriken. Shikamaru jumps and punches him mid-air, and this alone is enough for the jutsu to activate. So it shouldn't be impossible to connect in the game
In my opinion its amazing for fights so i just combo stun tsukoyomi go right next to them then combo while there in and as there out i try to go for a heavy attack
This jutsu isn't something you have to strive to land for. It actually combos with a slot of other jutus and can be used in a one shot combo. Definitely a lot better than you think, you're just not applying it in the best way here I think.

they must buff Tsukuyomi little bit more damage and the area must be a little bit bigger

Tsukuyomi only needs more AOE and better tracking and instead of more dmg add a def debuff to the list of things it gives the enemies

Listen as a good healer main use sealing tags with that ability or get them in a combo
I believe in order to make it better it needs way better tracking, and a lot more damage output, the time it stuns people is good, oh and also make it so the only way it stops it is from the heavy attack that way you can hit them and still get the damage from it. I think this buffs could make it one of the best which healers really do need
I think they should make it track like rinnegan. If they did that, the jutsu would be completely usable and I don’t think it would be too overpowered
So i been experimenting with the justu a lot but i finally understand that its supposed to be more for a support type style you can keep important people out of fights like a range type doing too much damage, a aggressive attacker, a defense type keeping your team off a base or a healer healing ive been using tsukuyomi with paper bomb kunais because most of the time when i stick someone with a kunai they bring it back to their teammates and it explodes or it explodes and kills them as long as i can disable someone while supporting my team it works i’ve stopped so many people running away with the flag just by casting tsukuyomi on them or throwing a kunai on them you can almost guarantee a hit with it if you throw the kunai first so they somewhat get staggered then cast tsukuyomi right after they take the damage from the justu then take damage again a few seconds when the explosion goes off. tsukuyomi is also good for stopping people from guarding or people in the middle of casting a justu i stopped so many people aiming at my teammates with majestic its a life saver in the right hands. I have some clips on my channel of gameplay if anyone wants to see.
It's meant to be mid range assist move. Atleadt in my opinion. Since if the target is fighting someone there's a good chance the move will hit, target takes some damage and gets stunned and the ally has a large gap of time to heal or whatever
You can always hit it by dash attacking that does a stun animation
All attacks that knock back or are heavy knock you out of the jutsu you gotta use light attacks
if you want to land any of shikimaru skills its best to do a charge hit first to get the stun hit
You can cast tsukuyomi while you have someone in a combo to draw the combo out more

Well I don't think healers need high damage output anyway. It's always stated that they support the team from the side lines, imagine dealing with a high damage healer that can keep healing
TSukoyomi is more designed as a supporting role and coordination with your team.Ilke for exaple your teamate is atrgeted and just cant get rid of the enemy so you come while enemy is focused on your teammate and then you do if posible a timingly placed tsukoyomi wich then so to say not only cancels combo or jutsu attack that was ment for your teammmate but also by putting enemy i tsukoyomi y7ou give your teammate time to escape/recover or counter attack alongside you.
Thast what Tsukoyomi is all about to be more of a supportive help out alongside if properly done can prove a deadly trap for the enemy player bcs he/she risks beinng stopped and then pummeled even thou he/she was initialy wining the fight.

Not really, cuz anime it happens in Less than one second while it takes a few in this game
Tsukuyomi seems like it would benefit from ult, the stun keeps them stuck until you can do literally any ult, like hinata's to destroy their ult gauge. also what if you did Tsukuyomi first before shadow strangle?
I'd say my build for it would be Tobirama's ninja blade, Tsukuyomi, Maybe one of the Sakura smash abilities? and then something big as an ult, shadow explosion, the fog, anything that benefits from them being stuck in an area with you
Now this messes up my head I'm about to buy the Shinobi striker and I'm currently picking on what character I buy and main(I'm currently picking between Minato,Itachi,Sasuke)it's so hard sieng how much u struggle on trying to put the enemy's on your tsukuyami
to be honest though the dlcs for this game are pretty cheap though compared to other games. you just said 3 different character types though, so if you want to pick, figure out which character type youd want to run. minato is an attack type, itachi is a healing type and sasuke is a ranged type.
shadow strangle instead of possession might do better since it can go off the ground.
Try shadow stitching with tsukuyomi, the damage reduction of shadow stitching makes tsukuyomi hit harder
i have a feeling that this Jutsu can let you land Particle Style Atomic Dismantling more easily, along with that i think it could definetly work with nervous system Rupture, chakra Scalpel, eight trigrams air palm, etc. yeah you probably won't get the full effect of Tsukuyomi but you can land a bunch of Jutsu more easily which probably makes this a really good combat healer type Jutsu or generally a good healer type Jutsu considering how you can leave someone open for an ally to attack.
i probably might buy the Itachi DLC to test this stuff but i dunno yet

Try both of itachi moves with regular healer sword and the smoke thing in shop
This guy used the double sword of the seven swords on me while i was in Tsukuyomi and it didn't knock me out of thr jutsu it did like 70% every time
for tsukuyomi i think it will break if we attack with attack that have knokback.. if not the tsukuyomi will continue
You should try shadow stitching for -defense and then yasaka beads
Honestly the best jutsu to run with it is Yasaka beads lol…… so you’ll have to run around with Itachi ninjutsu. Still works well with poison fog tho considering you can stop their movements with tsukiyomi and watch them die .

If someone is using majestic the loading yome for the jutsu can be interupted using tsukoyomi
I usually throw a flash bang then pop tsukiyomi, then byakugan for the attack boost then combo them to death
problem is not everyone can get the flash bang. Tried to get it, literally got every other esoteric SS reward but the flashbang so ;-;
but even then it would definately make your healing options limited

@@djhyuga9711 yep, kinda defeats the purpose of being a healer. Unless you got one of the rare esoteric weapons your regular combo strings are limited and fairly slow, your movement is also slow, and your jutsu are tailored more on the support style. Healing was the only thing that made them unique and hard to manage if you get someone skilled with their healer. So taking away healing from a healer is just not a good idea. Tsukuyomi is best when used on a team, like an actual team, where you guys can properly strategize. Not just a bunch of randoms strung together. Or you can use it when someone is blocking. Thats all i got

Honestly its a pretty good jutsu i would say.It cant be blocked so pretty good against people who just stand and spam block and goes through water pillar and sandshield.Also i paired tsukyomi with heavenly foot of pain from tsunade and works pretty well together
You have to combo it hit them with the lunge attack it staggers the enemy then you can land any jutsu.

Btw, u gotta land tsuko on a freeze frame for it to hit. Heavy attack break tsuko too
If you think you don't have enough heal just use a healing ultimate
Beads and orbs are a pretty toxic but lots of survivability with healing tags
Globku have you considered this build of tsukuyomi and Amaterasu since of the rule of tsukuyomi as long there’s no any sort of knock back jutsu won’t break meaning you can stack above each other without canceling tsukuyomi probably best used for it to snipe unaware enemy

I suggest using it with shadow stitching first u do a dash attack to bait out subs once subs are gone doing a dash attack will stun them giving u enough time to hit them with stitching and land tsukyomi and with the damage increase it can one-shot I like to use umbrella for my weapon
Sub then immediately counter with tsukuomi alot of damage, but its only purpose is counter
My two cents on connecting kagemane mid-air: it should hit. Shikamaru locked Hidan with it, at some point Hidan jumped to dodge Shikamaru's kage shuriken. Shikamaru jumps and punches him mid-air, and this alone is enough for the jutsu to activate.
So it shouldn't be impossible to connect in the game
in the game shadow stiching connects in the air and does decent damage, i think that is what the person meant, not shadow possesion
In my opinion its amazing for fights so i just combo stun tsukoyomi go right next to them then combo while there in and as there out i try to go for a heavy attack

I use it with mind transmission it’s fun but it’s really situational
This jutsu isn't something you have to strive to land for. It actually combos with a slot of other jutus and can be used in a one shot combo. Definitely a lot better than you think, you're just not applying it in the best way here I think.
Haven't decided yet which is a good partner for it Cherry Blossom Clash or Crimson Drizzle ?
