As I explain in the video, difficulty of questions is not dependent on the month. Due to the nature of October (around college application season, stressed seniors..etc), there is higher likelihood of students that miss specific questions. Now, through my research, if these questions end up being unpretested child questions, then it could completely screw up the assumed difficulty level of a question. It’s impossible to determine the difficulty of the questions. That depends on your form. The curve in which it is scored on will be more lenient though = easier to score high on. Similar trend into those months but it starts tapering off - March has a tough cycle.
The “curve” will be more lenient just like October/November. However, the difficulty of the questions depends on the form you get - that is not dependent on the month you take it.

Is this the same for other months this year as well or is it just October?
Similar trend for fall months!
I want to ask a question. I scored 58 and 56 out of 98 questions respectively in my practice test blue book, but I got 900 and 1150 respectively. Does a particular topic carries more make than the other coz I don’t understand why u scored a higher mark in the lowest correct answers
You will be deducted more points for missing a “easy” difficulty question compared to missing a “hard” difficulty question 🫡
very interesting and insightful video
Glad you enjoyed it
Isn't it the PSAT in October? Or can you take the SAT as well?
Hey, yes the PSAT is also in October. You can take both!
Will this apply to the December SAT as well?
Yes, similar trend!
will this still apply to the spring SATs?
This is not a new trend, which is based on the fact that there is indeed post test manipulation of scores by College Board.
For spring SATs, the college application process has passed = an easier curve cannot be determined.
Wish best Luck on October to everybody, and me )))
Best of luck!
do you think that the scores will come out later than the usual two weeks because of all this new stuff? I'm taking it october 5th and need it to come out by october 23 for applications 😭
It’s not new stuff! This information is not publicly known because it’s hidden in a lengthy 150 page pdf doc covering SAT technicals published back in like 2017 🫡
I have exactly one week to prep now how do you think I will do if I study hard this week?
You may burn yourself out. Do some light review, a couple practice questions everyday, and create a cheat sheet to stay warm. This may help as well:

just took it and ngl the english part was SUPER TOUGH but the math was kinda easier ngl???
Many viewers are reporting the opposite. I think it goes to show that the difficulty of the questions is not dependent on the month. However, October should have an easier “curve” due to it being college applications.
Congrats on grinding through! Best of luck on your score release 🫡🗿
@@PrepworksEducation i really hope i do well! i'm praying the studying paid off 😬😬
will this apply to the december sat too?
Similar trend since there will be some people taking it right before submitting regular decision applications!
so does it mean oct sat takers will not get any repeated questions?
There is a possibility - but it’s unlikely for every SAT.
please be right im a sophomore and im taking the sat just so i can forget about it and ive only been studying for like a week
Looks like you still have plenty of time to prepare! Take a look at our master study guides for English and Math - and if you don’t get the score you want this time around, consider taking it in the summer (when you may be less stressed).
@@PrepworksEducation tyy ill look at it tomorrow
Do you think that the November SAT will be easy aswell?
Similar trend!
what about november and december
Similar trend due to college application season. Note, the difficulty of questions is not changing.. only the equating.
Would you recommend me taking the SAT during December , I’m currently a sophomore and I’m taking Algebra 2 Honors this year.
Hey, it’s up to you! Starting earlier is better. You can score 700+ on math without knowing Algebra 2 👍
But what about November SAT ? I am taking SAT in November. Please tell me will be November SAT quiet easy or not ?
By “easier”, I don’t mean the questions are easier. The “curve” is more lenient. Similar trend for both October and November.
@@PrepworksEducation🎉🎉🎉🎉 thanks bro. I hope that it’s going to be for real.
What about the march sat
It's hard to tell as of right now. Comparatively, the October SAT will have a better "curve".
hey! what about November😭?

Will it be the same for November? I'm registered for October but still scoring very low so I intend to change it.
It’ll be a similar trend for November!
does this apply for november??
Similar trend!
Taking mine October 5 this my second time i am super scared wish me best of luck😔
Best of luck! You’ll do great 🫡
That was fucked
Is this gonna be true for later SATs like in the winter 2024
Similar trend, but it will start tapering off.
what about November SAT?

I am taking the SAT at my high school. Are there any differences in the test as it is given almost a week later than the regular test date, taking place on October 11, 2024?
Regardless of the date you take the test, the forms will differ!
I am just getting 1200 in sat practice and my exam is in oct 5 what should I do, I need at least 1400 help me pleaseeeeeeee

What about december? that’s when i’m signed up for
December is a fine test date as well! It is important to note that the extent to which the "curve" is better makes a difference of at max -/+ 30 pts. Nothing groundbreaking, but helpful!
will this be same for november?
Similar trend, but this video will explain everything! ua-cam.com/video/GR37pye9LnE/v-deo.html
is it possible to go from 600R to 700 in around 10 days (from sept 24 to oct 5)?

Is October one easier than the November one?
The difficulty of question varies - it's impossible to tell. However, the trend of getting a easier "curve" holds true in both months.
would it be better or worse to take it in November?
October and November would be very similar.
I got a 1390 in August, can I expect a 1450 for the october SAT I’ve been studying a bit more but not as focused as the summer because of school and college app essays

Can one take the Nov dsat and still submit later for an Ed sch( Nov 1st ). Any one with an experience to share?
Yes, you can -- for some schools. Google "(school name) test policy" or something similar to figure it out for the schools you're into.
Pls answer my question. I scored 1370 in august and my tutor said it is not enough for applications. I am in my application year and still havent written any essays or anything. I will apply after the october sat. Am I late?
Hey, you can always apply test optional. If you feel like you can improve a lot on the SAT, go ahead and take October. However, I would also strongly consider focusing on writing your essays NOW - those are infinitely more important than a SAT score!
@@PrepworksEducation thanks. I am an international student and I can’t pay more than 8k Dollars for college. Neither 1370 nor test optional will help me get an %80 scholarship from any school. I feel desperate. I have a guy that helps me with this stuff and he said my SAT and IELTS(7.0) scores are too low for a decent scholarship. He didn’t’t say anything about essays so far, so I have no idea about them. Is it something I can write within a week?
Focus on those essays! They are often a major deciding factor regarding admission.
@@JuliaAckinson really depends on your writing skills and if you can manage to produce an excellent essay within deadline. make sure to write a really good one since it's really under your control and can determine scholarships. best of luck!
What about November? I'm waiting until they release PT 7 and 8 because I ran out of tests
The fall test dates will all follow a similar trend! November is a good option as well given that you prepare.
Will practice test 7 and 8 come out by then?
@@senagolbasi CollegeBoard said they will release this year so probably
Bro this sats test is same for international students or not pls tell me
Hey, difficulty of questions is impossible to tell and varies regardless of US or international forms. The trend of the “curve” will hold true though.
what about the november SAT
Similar trend!
@@PrepworksEducation thx just made my confidence boosted

Then what about december I will be taking it in decemeber ?
December is a fine test date.
Will it be too late for a senior if they apply for November?
The October SAT is still a valid option if you are applying to colleges early.
Hopefully this is true cuz i take it tmrw and its my second and last one
So…..
It’s true! It will be easier to score higher.
