Question- once programmed for say once a day and saved, does it come on at the saved time of day it was saved ?
Example if programmed and saved at 2pm will it come on at 2pm every day thereafter?

Yes it starts the same time it was programmed every day so if it was 2:00 p.m. when you programmed it will run at 2:00 p.m The next time the schedule trips

How long does it take to charge and how long does the battery last for?

As far as I can tell the battery lasts literally week, I'm still using it. I've never drained the battery, but have topped it up at about 50% As for charging it would depend on how dead the battery is.
Listing says it has a 2600mAh lithium battery supports USB charging - DC 5V... So ideally it should take just under an hour and half from dead.
Usual I top it up with a battery pack when I need to top up my water.
I never had it fully drain

I might also add batteries will drain faster if you pump more and longer.
      I do a minute every 2 days
