You can check her youtube channel for old videos and check the captions... 💞 and I also agree, Noah is great but he's new to analyzing what he really wants to do with his talent (also the reason why it was his friend who insisted to sign him for Idol) but Hunter is more experienced I guess as she is performing even before the show hahaha but yeah both talented people. The Lord has decided! 😂💞

We had red birds to start showing up after my grandma went to Heaven (they were her favorite)! My dad said it was her way of coming back to watch over us. Almost 2 years ago, he joined her. So this song really pulled at my heart strings! I love it! ❤

My dad passed away earlier this month on May 5th, super unexpectedly from an acute cardiac arrest. He had lived with me for the past 7 years. We coverted our garage into a room for him. Anyways, for 2 weeks straight before his passing, every morning starting around 5am, a red bird would start tapping on his bedroom window. Every single day!! It hasn't done that a day since he passed. I'd never heard the old sayings about red birds until after he passed away, and someone told me that if a red bird taps on your window, that means death is coming and then someone else told me that if you just see a red bird, then it means someone from heaven is visiting you. I will always cherish this song, simply because it came out right after my dad passed away and because of his red bird. Now, when I see a red bird, I know it's my daddy visiting me. 🥰

This song literally makes me bawl like a baby. I just watched her perform this song and bawled like a baby and asked my mama to show me a red bird as I’m missing her a lot (as usual). I opened Facebook about 10 minutes later and at the top was a post a friend shared and tagged me in with a red bird. Of course I’m crying again as I remember I’m gonna be alright. ❤️

I was disappointed on Show Stoppers that they cut so much of her singing, "Not bad for A Girl Going Nowhere." You could hear sing quietly in the background while talking with one of the other contestants and they also went to Huntergirl talking. I just would've liked to have heard her sing the whole song.
I have lost both my parents in the last 5 years. It’s tough. It has led to some emotional instability. I’m blessed to have the support of a wonderful wife and daughter but a song like this really helps. Thank you HunterGirl. I hope you get to play the Opry soon. You are GREAT!

I cry every time I hear this song. Lost my mom in 2019 and then my dad in 2022. It's the toughest thing I ever had to face. Having such a hard time but this song touches my heart in so many ways. I never was able to say good bye to my mom before she passed so when I see red birds I truly want to believe she is with me. Ok, So I will put it succintly as possible about this video.....WOW! As I have watched this one and so many more of hers and this whole past season of American Idol. This young lady is having so much fun during all of this process. She is smiling in every video or performance I've seen. She just wants to write ,record , and sing from her heart. OMG Red Dragon, I LOVE Heartbreak Down to. Can you imagine her in concert singing these last 3 songs to the end the show in order: Heartbreak Down, Riot and Redbird. And for her encore cause you know after Redbird the crowd will want more: Girl Goin Nowhere. I will see her first tour, and I just know I will lose it a few times. Her voice and music just moves me to tears sometimes, it's got so much heart. I mean how many times was Luke Bryan goo goo over her singing. I think he'll take her on tour with him next year, I REALLY do. They can sing they're Idol duet in his show. How COOL would that be. You could almost see he was a like a father figure to her on the show, and a daughter to her. So much respect for each other. It was so BEAUTIFUL to watch 😍 I can't wait to hear when she signs her first record deal. I bet her agent is talking with a few labels right now 🤞🤞🤞 They would be stupid NOT to.

I never had red cardinals around my yard until my mom passed away suddenly and unexpectedly (almost 7yrs now). Shortly after 1 appeared and jumped around outside of the window I was staring out of (our windows are tinted so during the day nobody can see in) this Red Cardinal continued to jump around on the ground, the windowsill, and back down on the ground again until I noticed it. After that there were 3 that came by and I could recognize they were different. My mom's sister passed early when I was really little, my grandmother passed when I was around 13, and then my mom. To me they were together again. Now I just lost my father and stepmom (she was truly my other mother) and the 2 new ones that have come by are completely new. Thank you for this song. It truly hits home.

Told when I was a child told that Redbirds where angels our loveones already gone to heaven who came back to check on us. Nothing so beautiful as seeing a redbird sitting on limb of plum tree in early spring covered in white blooms or against a back drop of snow on a winter day. Thanks far this beautiful song.

She always taught me to know that someone we love in heaven is visiting when a red bird is around!!! One time I saw 10 red birds in one spot and I thought of all of my Mother's side of the family in Heaven!!! Love this song!!!

I find there's an effortless quality when extremely talented people do something whether it's opera, hockey, or doing advanced mathematics. HGs voice is open and effortless. It's now just a matter of the song choice. I hope there is a "So Lonesome I Could Cry" or "Jolene" type classic somewhere in the future.

WOW...now we know they BOTH were the top 2. I had no clue how close they are. Watched the 2 live things they did one night answering viewer questions. On the shorter won, it comes up that they were best friends through out the whole thing. It was sweet. AND really want to do a tour together and that was on the 10 min. one & were just trying to get feedback if people would come to see them if they did a tour together. There were many who said, "YES!!!!!"
BUT...what came out, now that it was over, that Hunter actually did background vocals on Noah's song when it was recorded!!!!
