So, how come the seven time national champion coach of the undefeated and number one ranked women’s hockey team gets less promotional support and presence than this guy? Is it because atheletic director Chris McIntosh does not respect women’s sports? His actions indicate he does not respect women’s sports.
Tbf both should get the same level of promotion. I think we do a good job of elevating womens sports here at UW and certainly give them a ton of fan support.
It’s also football which is the university’s biggest athletic cash cow and most popular sport. Agreed that we should do more to put a spotlight onto our other sports, especially our dominant women’s teams in hockey and volleyball
Because more people watch football than hockey and women's hockey. And Women's Hockey gets more "love" than Men's Hockey. Stop looking for sexism where it doesn't exist.

Is this a serious question? God I hope not
