My top 5 is based on emotional impact, writing, art quality, and rewatch value. 1.My Hero Academia, 2.Gurren Laagan, 3.Code Geass, 4. Assasination Classroom, 5. Chivalry of failed knight... UA-camr Tips
There's a scale and there's an algorithim.
There's Chibi Reviews; Anime Uproar, and Gigguk.
I think your format falls under the Anime Uproar category, youre an intellectual, you give quality content, youre genuine and authenthic. Other Anitubers that fall under this category are super eyepatchwolf and alexanxdcer.
Chibi Reviews, did things the old fashioned way cranking out content every day, every other day. He's got his hand on the pulse and hes consistent, his style fits youtube slavery algorithem. Mad props to the guy,
Then there's Gigguk.. we watch him not to hear what he has to say about anime shows, he is the anime show, he is thhe protagonist. Gigguk is the Howard Stern of anime. Cdawgva and Lost Pause are pretty close to him in bigger than life, quirky personality.
Then there's hybrids such as glass reflection, joyboy theory, vocal pineapple, mothersbasement, and mr goatee anime covers, this tier specializes on one particular aspect of the youtube game or topic.
Youre probably what id be like if i was gonna be an anituber. I chose against it because im working on getting a normal 9 to 5, and im working on my own webtoon.
If i was an anituber I would steal Mothers basements model for whats in an OP, critically breakdown a minute an half of content, but peel layers back and sound smarter if i actually watch and like the show. analyzing seasonal ops, 1 a week is manageable, and crank out content. If time was crunched id also do the Lost Pause Model or Chibi Reviews Model, a 10 min video on the hottest meme or hottest manga chapter hottest anime ep. doing this everyday or every 2 days, ..1 hour a day takes discipline and commitment. If i was serious id try doing both.
Things to avoid:
I dropped Fornervorworld cuz he was too immature, more so fanboying rather than giving me an actual take on a topic. Nuxtaku, he changed man, took the trolling too far, focused more on his own ego rather than producing quality and critical satirical content like he used to in his early days. Samething with digibro or yggdrasil whatever theyre called now, focused more on themselves, their ego, rather than producing compelling content.
Unfortunally Misty Chronoxia.. had alot of top 10s, inspired chibi reviews, gave gomojo a run for their money. But ran out of content, couldnt evolve because his brand was built on one thing.
As you are now:
Your Tier is Rant Anime Podcast(underated by the way) Professor Viral, Manime Matt.
I think Manime Matt is maybe 6months or 1 year ahead of you in content, but youre way of doing things are very similar. I think you can catch him in 3 months with the correct approach.
Bottomline: Stay Genuine/Humble, Be consistant post daily for algorithim, or post weekly if it is quality. Memes, OPs Seasonal,Waifus, Reviews will always be relevant. Have Fun man...Gigguk,Cdawg,Lost Pause, theyre having fun, getting paid to talk about cartoons and loook at 2d tiddies, thats the dream. thanks for the advice man. i would post daily, but writing/thinking of a script, recording, editing, and posting simply can't be done all on my own every single day. still trying to actively find that balance between quantity and quality; i think once i hit my stride in that aspect, the channel growth will reflect those results. always humble and hungry...
