Great video! I like all Colorboom puzzles and this one was really pretty 🙂 I also had experience with Clementoni missing pieces services. To put it to perspective I was challenged by my friend to do a Minion puzzle from Impossible puzzle series. She was attempting to do it but unfortunately did not finish it so she challenged me and offered me a reward if I would finish it and get it back to her assembeled so that she could put it on the wall afterwards 😅 I finished the puzzle but found out that the puzzle was missing one piece. Since I wanted my friend to have a full on puzzle displayed on her wall I took it on myself to contact Clementoni to see if there is a possibility to replace the piece. Although Czech Republic is not one of the countries they offer the missing piece service I still tried to contact them if there is some possibility to make it happen. Well, they answered pretty quickly that I can submit a request, send them bar code, some other code (which was not on/in the box) and photo of the missing piece. I did that, sent it by email and then by mail to Poland (nearest country with missing piece service) and was waiting for reply. Since it was a puzzle that was not in there catalogue anymore they were not able to send me the missing piece (they warned me about possible different cut) nor puzzle itself but offered me to send me other puzzle of the same type as replacement. I thought that this was so nice of them! I can only applaud them for such good services! I was really, really pleased with the way they handled it!👏 And as for my friend, I found this puzzle on swap facebook page, bought it, assembled it again and then finally got it to her completed!😊
I know! Someone call the puzzle police! 😂 Yeah, I was disappointed, but I finished it - it’s still beautiful, and hopefully I can just replace it from the new puzzle they send 🤞
Oh dear, missing piece, so disappointing. 😞 Will you receive the same cut or end up with a different one??? Have you seen Clementoni's Psychedelic Jungle yet? That would be a difficult one to do. I ummed and aahed but decided to pass on it. Looks lovely but.......... Finished doing the Ravensburger 1000 piece Squishmallows Squish Squad which I enjoyed but it has a repeat pattern. Look forward to your next video.
I know, I wasn’t chuffed at all! I don’t know about the cut - I’m just really hoping that it is the same 🤞 I have and have built Psychedelic Jungle Sunrise very recently - it is so gorgeous, but not easy. It was fun though. 😍 Oh I saw that Squishmallows one in a toy shop in Newmarket, it looks fun! 🤩
I bought 500 piece Ravensberger elspeth McLean at Nationals and was looking forward to having it in my repeat 500s collection but IT HAD A MISSING PIECE !! So bummed. Now I can’t even give it away or donate… I feel your pain
Aaah that’s a shame. It’s frustrating when it happens, but I suppose I’ve been lucky to get this far and not experience it until now. Hopefully I can get it replaced quickly 🤞
Hi Vicky!!😊 Did you check your loose pockets on the clothes you have worn when building the puzzle? Under the gaps/slits (between floor and bottom of furniture) from furniture? I found one like that! My 3K Ravensburger Ocean Wonders had a missing piece. I went back to the store where it was bought. The employee and I Iooked through most of the pieces (yikes) because I didn't want to rebuild it so soon, and found the piece! The cut was the same. I happily went home with the piece found in another copy, put the piece in, but the color tone happened to be different!!! Luckily, it was a brown color, so I decided to keep the puzzle to this day. I built it again at a later time with the found piece, can discern which piece it is but not too annoyed. Still annoyed over that piece, but haven't sold/given it away because this is the prettiest 3K I have seen.

Ooooh soooo pretty! I got the color boom waves 500 for $4 CDN at a church sale… it was so good. I really enjoyed it . I would love to buy all there smaller count ones as anything over 1000 just seems too tricky! That is always so disappointing when there is a missing piece. It definitely stresses me out when I buy second hand puzzles but usually all pieces end up being there. I just splurged on a new puzzle and it ended up with 4 missing pieces.. grrrr. Luckily, I was able to return it to the store for a refund so I guess you just get defective ones sometimes. Thanks for the video.

Good find 😍 I know, it happens I guess, no getting around that, just frustrating it happened on a 2k 😂 rebuilding a 1k wouldn’t be a bother, but 2k takes a little longer! I just did this one too! I watched one of your previous livestream and heard you mention you were working on this puzzle *while* I was currently working on it :D And I had the same experience too, too shiny for my taste and a bit more challenging than expected because of those larger solid colored sections. Didn't miss a piece though and it was such a fun and beautiful puzzle!

I have this puzzle but I haven't done it yet. Looks pretty when it is finished. Gradients are probably my favorite type of puzzle which might explain why I'm working on a 5000 piece. Just a couple hundred pieces, if that, to go on it.

I also want to know how to get the missing pieces from different puzzles. What if there was a team of puzzle rescuers who are missing the pieces? We would not worry that it is not our fault. After you get the piece back, help me out too. My house is cluttered and pieces are getting lost. I started a difficult puzzle but noticed a missing piece and stopped it. It remained undone. I'll look for it in the vacuum on Tuesday.
Ah, that’s a shame about your missing pieces! Different companies have different policies, some don’t have missing piece services, but the bigger ones usually do. A lot also depends on how old the puzzle is. If it’s discontinued it often can’t be replaced. In this case, Clementoni are sending me a whole new puzzle. I just hope it’s the right cut! 🤞

I can relate to your missing piece worries. A few years ago, I made a Clementoni puzzle and I found out that I had one piece missing and three (3!) same pieces, of which I could only use one of course🤪
Oh lord - three repeat pieces?? I always wonder if there is another puzzler out there with a puzzle with pieces missing from theirs, whenever I find repeat ones! I suppose these things happen. It’s just a little heart breaking when it does 😩
@@Vickymakesandbuilds I had a Ceaco puzzle that had 5 corners and two missing pieces. Not fun. Also did the 5000 Ravensburger Disney Mickey and Friends one and it had a piece missing as well. Amazon, however, will refund or replace so not so bad. They did so even after the 30 day return period because they understood how long it can take to do a large piece count puzzle if you're not constantly sitting there with it.
What a CRIME!!!! It’s every puzzlers nightmare. You would think that clementoni an exceptional brand of puzzles( I have quite a few) that wouldn’t happen. But… I’m so sorry that happened to you. I know it’s a big disappointment. Me, my issues have been from ravensburger. I’ve had two puzzles that were missing pieces. One in fact had three missing pieces. But ONE is the deepest cut! Chin up and puzzle on! You got this champ!
Wouldn’t putting a copy of the barcode on the form be enough, instead of actually cutting it out of the box? I hope the one they send you is the same cut!
Thankfully I haven’t had it with Rav. I had one extra piece in the Disney Museum 9k though! This is the first time I’ve come across it in a Clementoni - but their missing piece service seems pretty good so far 😍

I've been thinking about this one because I have done two from the Colorboom Collection in 500 and 1000 pieces but seeing the colors live makes me think again. I have Cloudberries Gradient 2000 pieces that I'll do first 😅🧩

Cool puzzle. I do a lot of thrift shop puzzles and a missing piece doesn’t really bother me, but it’s of course annoying when it's a new puzzle
