A while ago I decided to buy the Blon 03 based on one of your sound test. And now I'm still loving my 03 after this test 🥰
BL03 had always been my choice, I was interested to listen to Mini. It kinda matches the BL03 on bass but vocals are lot more pleasant on the 03..
Blon 03 is too easy to detect. I always successfully predicted the 03 in these sound tests.
listening with my earbud. Blon 03 for me. Very relaxing.
You gotta need to include blon bl 07 in this party tho.
after 4 times repeats i ranked: Blon 03 still 1st best overall everything u wanna hear - its there, Ks1 and Blon 01 almost the same 2nd(slightly reduce a little bass for people think that 03 is too much and want more balance), Mini is so so below mine expectation( supposed to be between 03 and 01 but i cant or heard very small amount of treb ! such high expectation :( , so maybe buy this if u like the shape of it, people said the cable and tip are better).
05 as before all about treb, bass and mid so bad that affect the whole range so through it away ! tks alot to zpolt for making this comparison.

Judging from my EDX, the Mini sounds REALLY good. Seems to me like the Bl03 as some serious competition.
it sounds really different from 03 right? the highs sound similar to bl01, seems more a of a warmer bl01

@@zpolt I don't blame you lol It was a shock to hear how badly the BL05 is compared to the BL03. The day they tuned the BL03 is the day they caught lighting in a bottle but we all know that lightning does not strike twice and it shows

@@zpolt The soundstage on the BL05 is probably the smallest i have heard in a long while.
As I thought and my experience against those four except for ks1, blon mini had the thickest mid compare with those 4, its bass bleed was helped a lot I guess, although its mid is way more vshape compare with bl03. Bl03 in other way had clearer and sweeter mid, more forward in the position, although it's a bit thinner. In term of timbre bl03 is better and doesn't have any grainy on its treble, blon mini is a bit grainier compare with it. Blon mini bass is better, had more impact and not as hollow as bl03, in fact its bass is well rounded, had a better quality and control. Still both of them are the best blon that I've ever tried, bl03 for a better mid section, blon mini for fun and all rounder needs towards to the warm and musical playlist, it is still manage to give the better detail and micro detail although its packed with more bass compare with bl01 and bl03. Its better resolution contribute with the aforementioned ones I think. Bl05 is the bright version of blon, had narrower soundstage compare with mini, but it had a better depth and imaging. It also had a bit better resolution as well, matched with bl05s. Though its micro detail is not as good as bl05s or blon mini.

Both A to D sounds clear, bass is nice, mids are fairly good, separation is spot on, the last one sounded like you're in the box talking to yourself

agreed. very close behind with the smaller driver keeping up with the big brother 03 is impressive. If I never had the 03 id get the mini for the better buy because better cable and tips make it a GREAT value iem. If I already have 2 pin .78mm cables and tips to roll, i'd go for the 03.
03 + spinfit + aftermarket kbear 2pin .78mm 4.4mm balanced --> hipdac + qobuz 24 bit (uapp in android) is sooooo good.

03 still sounded the most natural to me. Tuning maybe a bit too much on the safe side, sacrificing a little clarity in exchange for sounding pleasant with pretty much any recording.
KS1 sounded like a more v-shaped treble boosted 03. Where the 03 plays it a little too safe, the KS1 is a bit on the spicy side tuning-wise. It has more percieved clarity than the 03, but is a little too forward in some recordings as a result.
01 sounded like a leaner 03. Not bad if you think the 03's bass is too bloated, but the 01 loses some of the body in the sound that the 03 has.
05 was just kinda shouty. Weird take on what I think is supposed to be a neutral-ish signature? Not worth the extra money over the 03 imo.
Mini just sounded oddly congested and low res. Not sure if it's because of the way they were inserted during recording, or if that's just how they sound, but they were easily my least favorite of the bunch.
I have the 01 & 03, the 5 is annoying, but the mini sounds interesting.

this is quite helpful. you really need to have a very specific, techno-ish playlist to enjoy that 05, otherwise it sounds crap. listen to something like imonster with that and you are better off with generic earphones. but i'm using zst pro right now and this tend to be quite aggressive so idk. the mini sounds well-rounded though. sounds clearer than i expected. For the cheap prize and fit i just gotta have it.

I actually want to check out takstars. My budget headphone coverage is really lacking. Best to listen to in iems though for these tests. 👍
Aren't they the same with GM200 the "gaming" version with mic and slightly beefier bass? I find the Pro82 bit balanced, with bass slider on minimum

I have the BL03 and KS1. For me, the worst is the BL05 from this test. BL Mini too dark, and BL01 too thin for me.

@@adarshkumar3869 I like them both actually. But I'd still pick the bl03 since it has a more natural and warmer sound. The KS1 has a small peak in the highs, not big and it fits easier in the ears than the blon's. The KS1 is cheaper too. Both are good.

I don't think it worth, it would be more like a side-grade than upgrade, unless you really need a second par. If you need a real upgrade, maybe the tripowin or some moondrops..

It's not good using kc2 as the reference for hearing this comparison, since it is not as netral as let's say Hzsound mirror, ssr, or tin t2. You will hardly get what mini sounds alike. In fact, it doesn't sound as congested as bl03 and bl01. It has better technicalities, detail, and micro detail compare with the aforementioned

@@randomname9050 yep, if you're looking for the neutral sound, prometheus will be better than mini. I have watched the graph, it has many similarities with t2 plus. T2 plus is not my personal preference regarding its tuning, so perhaps I will skip prometheus if in fact from the review it share the same as its graph written
