Premium connectivity at £9.99 is required for speed cameras and average speed zones not free, IMHO you are over hyping the software updates as many of the features should have been available form the beginning as many features have been available on lesser cars for years. Also Tesla features are not for free, they are paid for with hard cold cash, any car company that does not provide software IMPROVEMENTS updates over time wouldn't be on my purchase list especially if there are bugs and errors in the software.
@@AdamWellinformed As I as sure you are aware, many cars have features equivalent to a Tesla some with even more some less, it's like comparing apples with oranges, what I am saying is that you cannot just say that improvement updates are worth over a £1000's a year when Tesla has not even delivered some of the paid for features, e.g. summon, auto park etc.. what price can you put on those and how much refund should I be entitled too for my Tesla. I purchased a Tesla and one of the consideration was the ease and frequency of improvements but that was factored in the price I was willing to pay and won't accept that they had future value of £1000's. Your vid does highlight many of the things that many Tesla drivers love but also hate and have never functioned correctly like auto wipers.
Half the features shipped disabled or broken like wipers. Matrix should have been day 1. The increased range and power was held back. These are not things you get free these you paid for but didn’t get. Day 1. Waze has speed cameras on bmw free plus android auto and car play. My self driving bmw system does speed limits but Tesla wants £3500 for it. Tesla has fake leather. Then wants £1100 for white fake leather. BMW doesn’t charge for coloured leather. My bmw also doesn’t need £1000 of new suspension bushings and doesn’t rust like suspension on the model 3. The auto wipers actually work. High beam assistance is included in the tech pack on bmw. Larger wheels are included in standard. £50k bmw would never come with 18’’ wheels with ugly plastic caps. Nor do they want £2000 for paint colours. Flat black should not cost £1400 either it’s not even metallic 😂 the Tesla doesn’t come with adjustable seat bolsters or thigh support either. You can’t add that via software. In the tech pack you also get a HUD Tesla doesn’t even give you a binnacle you can’t even add a HUD which is better than that ugly screen you get. No indicator stalks now. No easy way to use high beam and no gear selector. The car is £50k and basically comes missing basic features that come standard on cars half its value. Only reason to consider a Tesla is running costs are lower but then the depreciation is rubbish. The LR M3 only holds 22k of its £50k price after 40k and 4 years. That is total rubbish. Losing 30k on a car isn’t cheap. Wipes out all the fuel savings. A fast BMW such as a M340 or M3 doesn’t lose anywhere near that which means you fuel is essentially free. The second hand EV market will be a car crash due to all the cheap leases coming to an end over next few years. It’s already started.
@@molepatrol7529 oil service every 2 years. Few filters. That’s it. If I wanted a cheap car I wouldn’t buy a 510hp sports car would I. I’m not a brokey like most drivers who can’t even afford fuel.
I think after 4 years the LR M3 would cost less than 22k, that's one big advantage of Tesla and how I was able to buy a 3 year old Model 3 Performance that had lost more than half of it's original value. Amazing value as I still get all the features everybody else gets including the software updates. You can't have it both ways saying that its too expensive new and too cheap used. You can always choose to buy it used.

Okay, name me another car that has all these features I mentioned and then how many software updates they receive each year.
