    Nice technique, but this could be all climbed on DRT as well, try playing with redirect more, the possibility of easy and not necessarily retrivable redirects is why SRT is so much better for some trees and operations. But none the less nice traverse and job done in upper part of crown.

      Roger Hernandez well then, have some respect for your fellow tree climbers that want to do well, instead of presuming you know everything with your basic beginners kit.

    • @GoGreen_Landscape
      @GoGreen_Landscape 5 років тому

      @@aliray1165 you don't make sense Doing it right? Every climber has different techniques skills nobody climbs the same way example some people climb with SRT and some with DRT something that you don't understand

    • @aliray1165
      @aliray1165 5 років тому +5

      Roger Hernandez I’m aware that every climber has different techniques. That’s like saying the sky is blue. You haven’t told me anything revolutionary there. While there’s nothing wrong with climbing on a basic kit, the more refined your gear is the more in tune you’ll become as a climber and the less stress your body will receive especially as you get older. Saying that anyone who buys decent gear because they are lazy is completely ignorant. I buy the best gear I can afford so I can get the job done faster so my effort isn’t wasted doing the same stupid mistakes over and over. If you think that the basic prusik knot and side strop cannot be improved then I guarantee you’re only at a certain level of climbing and will not advance. So you’re happy just cruising, the rest of us want to push things to be a bit better than that.

    Electricians wire basket rope/wire puller. Slips over any thickness of rope and grabs it when you pull it, no need to tie smaller rope to larger. We use them in Construction when we need to pull electrical cables through tubing. It's the same as the Chinese basket thing that you slip over your finger and then you can get your finger out when you pull it
