@@theMomentlite actually valency m sign nhi aata ..agar ham bolte h ki valency of chlorine is 1 then it is correct or agar charge of chlorine ki baat ho rhi to it will be -1 because chlorine gains 1 electron.. wo apni general language m valency of charge k saath bol dete h baaki valency m koi charge nhi hota ok.
