I found a Halberd in the Onyx Tower, I think it was in Hard Mode, but it’s max damage was 212 points of damage. I don’t remember the base damage, but having damage that can go that high makes walking back through this game more satisfying. The nostalgia is strong with this one 😁
I couldn't agree more. Not having to struggle through this game again feels great. Plus, when I first played the original game, it reminded me of vagrant story, on PS1. It hardly makes sense; they look almost nothing alike. But I suppose it was the difficulty and navigation of the two that felt similar. Anyways, playing this game again gave me nostalgia in two ways, making it a lot of fun to play through again.
Do you do this on xbox controller witch button is rb. I wish i have a picture witch button i should press it doesnt work for me. I have a orginal xbox controller and xbox console
Sorry, but I don't have BG:EE. However, I'm going to say that it only works for Dark Alliance because I did a lot of research and saw nothing about this working on any of the other Baldur's Gate games. I did come across this for BG:EE. Hopefully this helps: www.garethjmsaunders.co.uk/2017/04/09/how-to-activate-cheat-codes-in-baldurs-gate-enhanced-edition-on-steam/
I don't have a ps5 or series x, so I can't test this to make sure and I never assume that what other people say on the internet is correct, unless I test it myself, but I would assume that this would work. I can't think of a reason why they wouldn't allow this to work.
what am i doing wrong? ive tried these cheat codes a thousand times and they straight up dont work all i want to do is let my young niece play without worrying about dying
No. I never had it stop, but I never kept it on after I leveled up. The only thing I could suggest is reactivating it and if that doesn't work, then restarting the game. But it is weird that it would stop working.
I did some research online and in the game, since your last comment and the only thing that i could find is that when people had issues with activating the cheat, it was because they changed the controls. Once they reset them back to default, the code worked again. But that was literally the only solution i could find online and when i booted up the game.
Make sure you set your buttons/keybinds back to default before entering the codes. Then move the buttons around after. Unfortunately, that's the way the game is set up. If that doesn't work, then the other comments on this video might help. :)
@@bluemango3830 did you change the buttons to be different actions? Like changing the x button to do something besides the default that the game had. If so, set the controls back to default and try again. That is usually the problem.
I made this video long before they released it on PC and though I have not bought and tested the PC version, I really don't see them allowing the code to work on every other gaming platform and not PC.
@@theredpotions I couldn't get it to work, but it could be that I'm doing it wrong which was frustrating because the falling stones part took me ages to get past. I guess I'll just have to do everything the super hard way :/
@@mishcelle Hmm... I'll have to do some research into the PC code to know for sure but the only thing that I could think might be the issue is if you are typing the code in with your keybinds changed. Reset your keybinds back to default, then try typing in the code. If that is not it, then maybe the code is different for PC. I'll see if I can find the code for PC. ;)
@@mishcelle Ok. So I could not find anything about the PC version through videos or forums, but i did find posts in the Community Hub on Steam and they said that the code works for them, when using an xbox or ps controller. However, i am also seeing a LOT of complaints about the PC version being filled with bugs, crashes, and just a crazy amount of problems. So it may not be you typing the code in wrong.
No, it does not disable achievements. There are actually people ( and another UA-cam video) that have used the cheats to get all achievements in under 30 minutes. However one of the achievements is to die for the first time, so you will want to do that before activating invincibility.
Well, i made this video before they released the PC Version. I did look for info about the PC version when it launched tho, hoping to give an update. Unfortunately I couldnt find anything on PC cheats, probably because no one bothered to cover it, cause it was released much later than the other consoles. However, i do wonder if you can use a controller on pc and type the code in that way. I say this cause i dont see them taking out the codes for the PC version. So I truely believe they are there. I just couldn't find a guaranteed way for PC. Anyways, sorry James. I wish I had better news for you.
thank you from the bottom of my heart so many people and websites have been giving me the wrong code for so long you are an actual legend 🤗
You are very welcome! I'm glad I could help.

Thank You. I could not be bothered doing The Gauntlet again legitimately after all these years.
Your welcome. Glad it helped you out.
I miss the days of Nintendo 64. And re4 for the ps2. My childhood right there
Thx for the video, greetings from germany :)
You're very welcome! I hope it helped. :)
One thing to keep in mind is that you loose all your progress when you go back
Thanks!

Ok, now tell me how to do this on PC, without a controller.

@@theredpotions Thanks. I meant I couldn't get the cheat menu to come back up. Multiple attempts. Even had my 13 yo and 9 yo try it.

Is this only avaliable on ps4? Because I don't know if it works on ps2
Yes. This does work on the ps2 version
