What's with the "sia"? Maaaan its Athy!! The nickname should've been Athy and she didn't dream about anything in the manhwa she read a novel and why did the changed the name???
@@emotionalnessinoaden132 Sia was used in the traditional Chinese version (novel) from what I can recall. The DongHua is in Chinese, that’s not too surprising. And I don’t know, I’m upset about it too. I don’t know the reason for the plot change or the title change but that’s all the info that has been released so far. From what I’ve been reading, it seems this will have more romance than the manhwa (so like the novel) but not 100% sure. The changes are upsetting but not much we can do anyways.

The Artstyle is magnificent but they could have done more with the jewel eyes because spoon has put so much details doing the eyes also the iconic ball debute scene should had more soft lightings but its fine because the animators had work so hard to release it
It was due to budget issues as that would have been really expensive, although I agree.

@@emotionalnessinoaden132 Realistically, most animation will never be able to capture the beauty of drawings. I’m sure there are few exceptions but for the most part, it’s just not likely. It’s easier to make tune ups and add more details compared to animation, so that’s why personally I’m not too upset. It’s a shame since it’s loved by a lot of people, but if another studio had picked it up, chances are the animation would’ve ended up like Raeliana. They don’t even move in some frames and looks choppy in some parts. If you watch the PV, her eyes do have sparkles so it’s not that they didn’t add jewel eyes. They’re just not that obvious. Also, I added CC to this so it doesn’t look as soft. WMMAP is the epitome of art so I don’t think any studio could’ve been able to do better than the art-style since it’s drawn so beautifully. I understand you’re disappointed but I hope you’re still planning on watching at least. :)

Dont get me started on raeliana's animation but You're right that they won't be able to capture the manhwa Artstyle and its fine but I'm just a bit disappointed at the jewel eyes since the iconic part for Athenesia and overall I don't think it would be that bad judging from the treiler the animation, and obviously I'm gon'na watch it no matter how bad the animation is cause it is my first ever manhwa so its special to me which is why I'm a bit sad and to capture the beautiful artsyle they have hire ufotable's animators😂😂

That would have been nice but it would’ve blown the budget. D: Many people wanted a Japanese studio to pick it up since they could’ve potentially had the budget to animate her crystal eyes but with the way they terribly animated Raeliana, I’m glad they didn’t. In the end, it’s very costly so that’s the main reason. I’m a little disappointed too personally but I understand why.

@@mArria884x Yeah I get what you’re saying. Personally I’m still upset about the plot change since like many others, we wanted an accurate adaptation but I’ll still watch it. Her name is still Athanasia don’t worry, Sia is just her nickname which was used in the Chinese traditional version of the novel I believe. Another “summary” of the plot by Kuaikan is this - “Entering the Ruby Palace by mistake, lighting up the magical dream. The cutest princess Sia captures the ruthless father and the tsundere magician, spinning and jumping in the echo of love.” So I suppose the general idea is still there, they just swapped out the reincarnation point with dreams. I got all this info by someone who was nice enough to translate it from Chinese to English. ^^

Yeah, they swapped her reincarnation plot point to dreams. So she basically dreams of the events happening before they do. Kind of like predicting the future. The main story is essentially still there as far as I’ve read but it’s a really odd change imo. Also, the manhwa never followed the novel so technically, spoon changed the plot too. Three different versions now of the story.

The Anne and Challe video was my first full length AMV was what I meant. Currently I am busy with some things, but I will start working on that AMV as soon as I can! ^^ Also, this is a DongHua that is releasing next year. I definitely recommend reading the manhwa first if you’re planning on watching later (it doesn’t have too much romance but the adaptation will have a lot more). There’s also a novel which I have a link with all the chapters so let me know if you’re interested in that.
