I think the reason why Derrick Rose receives the most sympathy of the four guys on this list is because he was the only guy who was never a difficult player/teammate. Dwight Howard, Rajon Rondo, and Carmelo Anthony had big egos, which resulted in butting heads with their teammates and coaches. Once those three humbled themselves, they were able to continue their careers. Rose was always humble, even when he won MVP.
Harsh including Granger with the other 3, he belongs in a Michael Redd/Brandon Roy catagory. Injury robbed them all whereas Williams just lost interest & Lawson drank his career away. Smith ... well did a Josh Smith i suppose

Im glad rose went to NY. He has been an amazing addition to the team. The Knicks haven’t been very consistent offensively but now they have Drose who has been an amazing spark plug off the bench and hes a great veteran leader for this young team aswell.
The only problem I have is that Dwight's numbers drastically dropped once he landed in LA the second time so I don't know if I'd say he had a turn-around.

Rondo on the Mavericks wasn't a good fit, I honestly don't know what they were thinking trading for him. I guess at the time Rondo was still seen as a borderline superstar so they figured he just would but the Mavs offense at the time really required point guards to be knock down shooters and their leading scorers were Monta Ellis who was very ball dominant. That was never going to work with Rondo.
