In line with the 2v2 support challenges, it would be fun to do an "Income Tax Challenge" where every minute you have to give a % of your resources to your ally
I seldom comment, however I would like to say here - don't get discouraged about the negative comments (if you did). Even if you do a crazy challange, your teammate already has higher chance of winning than usual purely by your knowledge of the game and your mechanics. Thank you for the content, I watch you regurarly as your gameplay is not stale and the commentary is in point - keep on going!^^
Damn Marc, seeing you try your absolute best never seizes to amaze me. How you manage to keep up with these 6k+ opponents and still fit in educational parts in the more quiet bits and absolute top level commentary all game long, even when the most insane battles ensue (!!!) is just so crazy. Especially the last game had me glued to the screen rooting for your amazing outplays like the widow mines, the banshees and your counter attacks that always hit home. All that on top of being so humble and trying to be a helpful teammate. Your youtube channel has been one of the best sources of entertainment for me for a very long time and you always come up with new fun ways to rejuvenate our beloved SC2 and when you temporarily run out of ideas, its already time to revisit the old classics of your challenges, striking my heart with loads of nostalgia. This is a true testimony for the greatness of your life's work after your pro carreer. LOVE YOU SO MUCH

Although I like Thermy, the fan favorite was actually BeastyQT until he left SC2 about a year or so ago. but yeah, Thermy is now my number one in SC2 scene. For actual casters and not players, Lowko still the best, just don't let him play and cast as he's a huge fanboy of being zerg while complaining zerg is getting nerfed a lot without actually realizing zerg is the most OP race then Terran while toss is just one expensive army LMAO.
I'm happy to see how well the 2v2 3v3 4v4 content is doing. I've been telling it to SC2 casters for a while, people just love the teamwork that happens or how sometimes the two players get mixed up and do the opposite of teamwork but it's still so interesting! I wish gms would do more fun 2v2s against each other with seeing their faces and maybe hearing their comms that would be so entertaining. Just the players being able to talk to the opponents with microphone or only to their allies or something like that. :)
it's also done to keep that heartrate up - think of it as running. Slowing down and accelerating again costs a lot of energy. Marc does do things like that (like clicking a billion times and scrolling through hotkeys). But indeed, less on skipping the screen around like a maniac. Woo!
That’s literally such incredible dedication to actually retrain and relearn how you look around the map just to make it I won’t say more visually pleasing so let’s go with less visually appalling for his viewers. That is next tier from thermy!
All the games were bangers in this episode. The last game really got my heart racing. But there is a kind of a recurring thing that I see on these hectic games, you never ambush their production. I get the "kill the drones and get back to safety" style, but in my experience: especially in team games where the action goes crazy and kind of uncontrollable even, it is much more effective to destroy/delay their production then to kill their economy.
Just looked it up. The ManchegoMarc account (the one Thermy's using for this video) has about 4.2k MMR in random 2v2. Like, I'm sorry, but if you're matching against people with 4.2k MMR, you really shouldn't be complaining about smurfing. Especially in a team setting.
@@marksmith161 First, literally no one is 6k in 2v2. The top finisher for last season's random 2v2 ladder had 5.2k MMR. Second, 4.2k isn't, like, wildly off from his peak MMR in any team ladder. His premade with Gobbo peaked at 4.5k MMR. That's almost exactly the same difference (in terms of percentage) as the difference between his peak 1v1 Terran MMR (6.5k) and his peak 1v1 random (6.0k). And remember he qualified for an EPT tourny as random, so he was giving that a legit shot.

Hey Marc, I've been following your channel from the beginning and I love your stuff. Here's one crazy idea that if you'd manage to pull off, you'd make so many people happy: the ultimate 3vs3 between Europe and Korea. Serral, Clem, Maxpax vs Dark, Maru, Her0. Not only would it be one of each race complementing each other, but they would be the absolute best players of their respective races. Imagine seeing Maxpax's fleet helped by Serral's vipers, while Clem drops everywhere on the map ahh. I'm pretty sure the community would contribute a lot to see such a banger. It would be iconic and you'd write history organising this. I'd be the first to donate to the prize pool. And maybe you can somehow force one game to go late game with certain rules or idk I'm sure you can come up with of a lot of crazy ideas to have diversity in games.
Actually I would support this! But in my honest opinion, I don't know if they would be the best teams. They are awesome names (and players of course), but I mean... it requires some knowledge of how the "teamwork" works, and I believe for example Goblin is a way better 2v2 player. (I think Maxpax played also a bit of 2v2, so he sure would be great!). But to say it again: I would definitely support this! Great idea!
@@tatatatartine2588 yeah 3 vs 3's are also way more hectic than 2v2's, but just to make it the ultimate thing I thought about one of each race.
