but many of my officemates enjoy spas, like wenshas, and we tried some hotel spas but there wasnt any korean spa before when we were working in manila, if there was we would have flocked here too. we do this to relieve stress from work.
Eyel's correct. And although one may think it sounds english just like most Latin derived words, the Tagalog Kumportable is loaned directly from Spanish.
You could have given guidance to Eyel on what should/could be done or what to expect in the Sauna. It seems she was kinda lost, especially at the start. Interesting that mostly Filipinos go there. It’s not at all in our culture to go to saunas.
Went here last month, we stayed for 24hrs, may sleeping area sa 4th floor. Then yung mga sauna bath/pool (?) pag maliligo, di pwedeng may damit or any garments, bawal din mag phone.
You can make a list of things that are cheaper in Korea than the Philippines and do a talking vlog so when we visit Korea we know what to stock up on, haha. I already know about beauty products but what about ramyun for example?
Comfortable can only be translated as Masarap or mainam or ayos or maginhawa sa katawan or sa pakiramdam, so you can say maginhawa sa pakiramdam or masarap sa pakiramdam or masarap sa katawan or maginhawa at ayos sa katawan
Komportable is a Spanish word adapted by Filipino language. It's a hot weather outside and then hot temperature inside gosh I will have prickly heat on my skin
When I see places like this in the Philippines, I can't help to ask the question about their "hygiene" etc? I mean so many people are coming in and out of that place, you'll never know how they actually clean it? I am pretty sure they make money because of Koreans like you who love Saunas. I'm just saying. I've used the Shangri-La hotels spas and it's guaranteed clean and sanitized. Good video though, thanks for sharing.. Aloha from Hawaii
There are a number of Korean owned spas in Malate, Manila decades ago, but they are the typical western type spas that offer shiatsu, swedish massage, and herbal foot massage spa, steam bath, etc.. Not really like that Korean Traditional sauna..
Oh wow! Jimjilbang. I haven't been to the New La Sema spa yet, planning to go there with my friends, been to the old one though. I loved the wet and dry sauna there especially their oven-cooked eggs! with Ramyun, yum! Glad to see you and Eyel had a great time🥰
Eyel is funny. Maybe she didnt know what to expect in a Korean Sauna that's why she didnt take a bath and hesitant to enter the saunas? 😅 she also cant last a few minutes inside lol.
When you went to Baguio you should have visited Itogon Hot Springs they have Steam Bath too from the natural Hot Spring and its just a 30 minutes ride from Baguio👍
When I was in the Philippines I like to go to dry sauna enough to get sweats all over my body then take a warm water and go to massagers oh my gosh feel good.
The word "comfortable" doesn't have a direct translation in Filipino (Tagalog), but the closest term would be (masarap sa pakiramdam or maaliwalas sa pakiramdam) hehehe...
I heard double eyelid is popular in Korea? 0:38 No need for surgery now 😅 Im also like that too, half has double eyelid other one doesn't but Im pure filipino
What I hate about some customers here is that they dont take a bath before dipping to the pools. Which is kinda not sanitary. In Japan, it's very strict to wash oneself first before going to the pool. I hope they will reinforce it. The instruction is only in english, hoping they will add Mandarin, Korean and Japanese on it.
I think in a tropical country like the Philippines, most people prefer going to colder places like malls. :)
Haha yeah.
But also lots of filipino people in there also :)

@@filipinoboo most people here in the Philippines think it’s bad to go from hot to cold.
@@gambitgambino1560 if my migraine and allergic rhinitis gaya ko hindi pwede sa hot then cold. Umaatake migraine sa biglaang change ng temperature
If I turn off my aircon in my room it's spa already.
I'm always watching your vlog

Haven't heard of those spas! I should try one =) thank you for sharing Fil Boo! :)
Thanks po :)

That is a must try but i would like to do it first in Korea
Thank you for sharing this one. I really thought there was no sauna here in the Philippines.

Magkano po ang rate sa 24hrs? Thanks.
500 pesos.. wow.. its worth it... would defenite visit this place have time.

This will work for flipinos and also koreans who inter travel between the two countries
When I was back in Dallas Texas I used to go to Korean Sauna and it is very relaxing
Ang pogi ni korean boo! Love love
I hope that someone will franschise a jimjilbang business here in Baguio since it is more appropriate because of our weather 😁 #Baguiogirl here 😁

Im a Filipino student in Korea. Pls interview me when you are in Seoul! Haha
Ace Water Spa is my favorite Hydro Spa.
When you went to Baguio you should have visited Itogon Hot Springs they have Steam Bath too from the natural Hot Spring and its just a 30 minutes ride from Baguio👍
❤
Thanks for coming early po :)
Who needs sauna when it's 40°C out. Lol... Filipino's go to cooler high-altitude places, bath in cold springs, or just stay at their homes.
When I was in the Philippines I like to go to dry sauna enough to get sweats all over my body then take a warm water and go to massagers oh my gosh feel good.
their terms of endearment is "crazy" haha
Heat stroke is real in phils. That why ordinary filipino prefer swimming pool or beaches rather than sauna
❤❤❤...
So korean !!❤
Went there last December!
what's the name of the place?
So food and other services are not included in the 988php entrance for 8hrs?
It's funny to have a sauna in this Hot and humid place 🤣🤣🤣 but then again gusto nyo yan eh hala sige 😂😂😂
That’s cheap 500 pesos for a 2 hour massage
💜💜💜

Comfortable is maginhawa
@@alejandrotuazon4831 ah oo nga pwede maginhawa kasi it also means "convenient" in english kasi.
Eyel is so cute
Try 88 spa in los banos/ calamba road
Comfortable = komportable

I hope you tried the couple Jacuzzi (only couples can enter) in the 4th floor inside the sleeping area.
this place is only for places with 4 seasons xD
Haha :)
Where is the exact location of the sauna?
Bingsu and beer?!!
Maybe you can try Ace Water Spa next. Seems perfect for this summer season (cheaper, too, iirc).
Haha maybe next time :)
Thanks for tip
Annyeong Filipino Boo!
Need po ba mag hubad?
Waaaa we filipinos didn't do that sauna because this is a tropical country hot all the time even if rainy season

The video said no, only the 2 hours of korean bath.
Where’s the place I want to go there as well…
"its so expensive, its 500 for 2hours?" Spoken like a true Filipino
I bet the owner of this Sauna has many Saunas in South 🇰🇷 for him to bring the business in the Philippines 🇵🇭
When u go to boracay and palawN,
Hahahaha the double eyelid is so funny! Half korean half filipino face 🤣
500 pesos for two hours .ten dollars .
Ate: "Because the face is the same to the one I watched."
Filipinos being indirectly racist! 😂
Oh woow is that your girl friend?
in korea the sauna is free? Or need to pay to stay...if not free then kdrama is a lie 😂
Entrance fee is 500peso? and you can sleep there for 24hours after that..
some place can be more cheaper or expensive depends on the place :)
I know sauna is hot but to be honest I don’t know what to do inside. This is all new to me
