If I get another gm, whether it be a Silverado or Sierra I have to be made sure of as long as I don't hot rod it or let it sit more than drive it, the engine has been sorted out and I promise the cel won't illuminated as long as I don't hot rod it, that's the assurance I need and the promise.

My next vehicle purchase is going to be for the whole purpose of avoiding the cel, people are steering me towards toyota and honda cars both for that assurance and they tell me they both go 200k on the clock then the cel gets illuminated, not 100k.

Some people laugh and call me a p word over being scared of gm now but I'm disabled I don't have a bunch of money to have a vehicle sorted out when it gets issues.

Honda cars and toyota cars decent used ones of both that don't have a cel illuminated and don't have over 150k miles on them go for 5k to 8k max where im at and I can probably more than likely do it in 3.5 years, otherwise I need financial help and a co signer for a Silverado to show me I can still love chevy trucks.

I do like the Silverado but getting scared of gm, I don't want another truck where 10 years after owning it since I don't drive everyday, the cel is illuminated and cost way too much to address the issue. I don't let a vehicle sit, I drive once to twice a week and not short or super long drives but decent amount of engine running time so I mean at least I do drive a vehicle.
