Gilbert's letter for Anne was literally the most romantic one I've read only for it to be torn apart into pieces without even having been read by the recipient. Gosh I was stressed out when Anne ripped it. Good thing that kiss made up for the emotional distress it brought me lol

Everyone talkes about hating Winefred. I mean yes she was for a time between Gilbert and Anne. But she never did anything deliberatley to hold back gilbert. she let him leave her. She told Anne about Gilbert's feelings, when she could of ignored anne so easily and sabotage Gilbert's feelings out of spite. Her family accepted Bash and his baby. Her parents didnt force a marrige on her like diana's did. She was nothing but nice to everyone she met. And she was educated and independant. A key figure in this season. i actualy really liked her.
Obviously I didn’t like that they had her be with Gilbert for a little but I did really like her character and she was always nice and kind and her family was really respectful towards Bash! In my mind I imagine that Gilbert and Anne spend time in college thinking about and writing to each other and by episode two of my made up S4, they meet up and fall in love again and get married around episode five or six. Around episode three to five, Diana, Gilbert, and Anne explore their new town (Queens). They meet new people and have conflicts with them but all in all it should be a blissful capper to a wonderful show. It should end with them revisiting Green Gables and Avonlea and maybe finding a dream job for both of them there. Diana ends up with Jerry again but this time it's a real relationship and Billy Andrews is no longer a prick. That may be too much of a stretch but I'd also love to see their cabin in the woods rebuilt. Also The Native Americans (not Indians you morons) get tired of waiting for Ka'kwet so they merge with technology and fight against the cause to get Ka'kwet back. They're successful but Ka'kwet suffers a leg injury while running, nothing lethal it's just something so amazing like that scene I described needed something tragic in it. They decide to migrate and go somewhere else out of Avonlea except Ka'kwet wants to stay in Avonlea until Anne gets back so they could say goodbye. The rest of the Natives agree that they don't want to leave just yet and they need to give back to such a beautiful place. Anne and Ka'kwet meet up and it's a beautiful ending. Like I said before, Gilbert and Anne find their true passions in Avonlea, Anne decides to become a teacher and Gilbert a town doctor and Jerry helps Diana loosen up a bit and she ends up owning Green Gables with Jerry after Matthew and Marilla both decide to go and live the rest of their life in some place beautiful like Paris or something. This adds a tragic element to all the good things like Anne and Gilbert meeting up again, them visiting Avonlea and realizing they want to stay there and become teacher and doctor, Diana and Jerry buying Green Gables, and just everything. It would be so bliss, they could even have a year in the life like Gilmore Girls except it's actually good. All I want is to see Gilbert and Anne together and happy with Diana alongside them, maybe with Jerry, everything else is just my pitch.

Gilbert being the most clueless about Anne’s feelings in season 3 when he’s so used to rejection is soooo cute! Gilbert has always liked Anne and he never expected her to return his feelings! It’s crazy how they were so little and grew up to become lovers. Enemies to lovers will always be one of my favorites and a great representation of this trope is these two! I love them so much and I’m glad in the final season they got together.
I really wanted to see their relationship development to adulthood, all the challenges, romance 😏so much chemistry between the leads!! Cancel this show huge mistake, had many material for 3 seasons more at least
I know it isn't perfect but there are older movies about them that include them as adults. I haven't seen them in years but I Remember Loving them as a kid especially after reading the books.

I watched this show for the first time and finished it in 3 days. It needs two more seasons at least. This show had me crying. I am a 26 year old married black woman with kids. Didn't think this show was geared towards me. But man. Its actually really good. Gilbert and Matthew are great characters.
I kinda think it’s a perfect ending, it leaves room for imagination (as Anne would say). If they made another season then the excitement of new love might lessen.
This whole show represented so much and brought to light so many of the real life problems that were happening back then and are some still happening... and at the same time still managed to make it into a lovable, humorous and fun show for all to watch. It didn't ignore truths and showed what really happened back then instead of sugar coating the truth with fantasies like other shows do. It think that it was beautifully done and the way they addressed problems like Homophobia, Classism, Racism, Sexism, Anxiety, Sacrifice, Xenophobia, grief, Indigenous rights and history, Prejudices, Human Rights, Sexual Harassment, Foster Care/Adoption, Child Abuse, and much more is amazing. I really enjoyed this show as much as I loved the books. I am really hoping that they might still have a season 4 with more Sherbert although it's probably unlikely. I wish they wouldnt cancel... I need more Sherbert and details!!! 😭

I hate that the show got cancelled 😭😭 You can literally see Anne and Gilbert’s love for each other from the day they first met, it was like Gilbert looked right past the Orphan girl and fell in love, I felt so bad because Ruby really likes Gilbert and the girls had all demanded Anne not to talk to him. But they still talked through body language, eye contact and facial expressions and when the other girls weren’t there.
Gilbert loved her for all the world to see, but still, they turned a blind eye -- except Cole, Diana, and well, maybe Jerry when they meet outside the cafe. He knows what's up. ;)

I was checking out my watch later playlist and then I realized this awesome video. I think this is the best video in which are made for Anne & Gilbert. When I was in 9th grade in the second term I changed my school with a scholarship. In my new class there are about 15 students and everyone knows each other about 5 years. I felt different and asosical. I have studied a lot to take a scholarship again for next year. There was a boy who was the top of the class, we were challenging every single lesson. whatever else, again I took scholarship again. In 10th grade he had started study for an International diploma programme. He took classes as English. I was continuing the national diploma programme. But we had some same classes. He was showing up his paper and sometimes he tought me different things, sometimes I tought him different things about our classes. Suddenly he stopped to come school. I learned that his grand mother passed away. 2 weeks later he came but he had any smiles. He did not want speak about that topic. In the semester break, we have been in the school library every day. and we study a lot. But we were studying for different things. he study for be international student. I wanted a lot be international student but it's really hard to me. whatever in 11th grade I changed my school because I had a good opportunity. also he left too. however we were in different schools. I can not say that to him but I love him so much. I am in the 12th grade and I'm gone be graduated in 4 months. I wrote there because when I live these thing I was watching Anne with an e, and I thought that we can be like Anne & Gilbert. Whatever if you read it whole that thank you. sorry my English.

This series is absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! I binged it for 2 days straight lol... It's so so sad that there won't be more seasons :(( Enjoyed every bit of it. One of the biggest mistakes Netflix has made is not supporting this show. Shows like these may not have a viewership as big as the mainstream shows but it had the most loyal fans and Netflix didn't respect that!

Everyone talkes about hating Winefred. I mean yes she was for a time between Gilbert and Anne.
But she never did anything deliberatley to hold back gilbert. she let him leave her.
She told Anne about Gilbert's feelings, when she could of ignored anne so easily and sabotage Gilbert's feelings out of spite.

In my mind I imagine that Gilbert and Anne spend time in college thinking about and writing to each other and by episode two of my made up S4, they meet up and fall in love again and get married around episode five or six. Around episode three to five, Diana, Gilbert, and Anne explore their new town (Queens).
They meet new people and have conflicts with them but all in all it should be a blissful capper to a wonderful show. It should end with them revisiting Green Gables and Avonlea and maybe finding a dream job for both of them there. Diana ends up with Jerry again but this time it's a real relationship and Billy Andrews is no longer a prick. That may be too much of a stretch but I'd also love to see their cabin in the woods rebuilt.
Also The Native Americans (not Indians you morons) get tired of waiting for Ka'kwet so they merge with technology and fight against the cause to get Ka'kwet back. They're successful but Ka'kwet suffers a leg injury while running, nothing lethal it's just something so amazing like that scene I described needed something tragic in it.
They decide to migrate and go somewhere else out of Avonlea except Ka'kwet wants to stay in Avonlea until Anne gets back so they could say goodbye. The rest of the Natives agree that they don't want to leave just yet and they need to give back to such a beautiful place. Anne and Ka'kwet meet up and it's a beautiful ending.
Like I said before, Gilbert and Anne find their true passions in Avonlea, Anne decides to become a teacher and Gilbert a town doctor and Jerry helps Diana loosen up a bit and she ends up owning Green Gables with Jerry after Matthew and Marilla both decide to go and live the rest of their life in some place beautiful like Paris or something.
This adds a tragic element to all the good things like Anne and Gilbert meeting up again, them visiting Avonlea and realizing they want to stay there and become teacher and doctor, Diana and Jerry buying Green Gables, and just everything. It would be so bliss, they could even have a year in the life like Gilmore Girls except it's actually good. All I want is to see Gilbert and Anne together and happy with Diana alongside them, maybe with Jerry, everything else is just my pitch.
At least Netflix should make a movie to give an end to the serie.

Gilbert has always liked Anne and he never expected her to return his feelings! It’s crazy how they were so little and grew up to become lovers. I know it isn't perfect but there are older movies about them that include them as adults. I haven't seen them in years but I Remember Loving them as a kid especially after reading the books.

I watched this show for the first time and finished it in 3 days. It needs two more seasons at least. This show had me crying. I am a 26 year old married black woman with kids. Didn't think this show was geared towards me. But man. Its actually really good. Gilbert and Matthew are great characters.

I kinda think it’s a perfect ending, it leaves room for imagination (as Anne would say). If they made another season then the excitement of new love might lessen.
This whole show represented so much and brought to light so many of the real life problems that were happening back then and are some still happening... and at the same time still managed to make it into a lovable, humorous and fun show for all to watch. It didn't ignore truths and showed what really happened back then instead of sugar coating the truth with fantasies like other shows do. It think that it was beautifully done and the way they addressed problems like Homophobia, Classism, Racism, Sexism, Anxiety, Sacrifice, Xenophobia, grief, Indigenous rights and history, Prejudices, Human Rights, Sexual Harassment, Foster Care/Adoption, Child Abuse, and much more is amazing. I really enjoyed this show as much as I loved the books. I am really hoping that they might still have a season 4 with more Sherbert although it's probably unlikely. I wish they wouldnt cancel... I need more Sherbert and details!!! 😭

You can literally see Anne and Gilbert’s love for each other from the day they first met, it was like Gilbert looked right past the Orphan girl and fell in love, I felt so bad because Ruby really likes Gilbert and the girls had all demanded Anne not to talk to him. But they still talked through body language, eye contact and facial expressions and when the other girls weren’t there.
But in the last season Ruby started liking Moody and moved on from Gilbert
Gilbert loved her for all the world to see, but still, they turned a blind eye -- except Cole, Diana, and well, maybe Jerry when they meet outside the cafe. He knows what's up. ;)

When I was in 9th grade in the second term I changed my school with a scholarship. In my new class there are about 15 students and everyone knows each other about 5 years. I felt different and asosical. I have studied a lot to take a scholarship again for next year. There was a boy who was the top of the class, we were challenging every single lesson. whatever else, again I took scholarship again. In 10th grade he had started study for an International diploma programme. He took classes as English. I was continuing the national diploma programme. But we had some same classes. He was showing up his paper and sometimes he tought me different things, sometimes I tought him different things about our classes. Suddenly he stopped to come school. I learned that his grand mother passed away. 2 weeks later he came but he had any smiles. He did not want speak about that topic. In the semester break, we have been in the school library every day. and we study a lot. But we were studying for different things. he study for be international student. I wanted a lot be international student but it's really hard to me. whatever in 11th grade I changed my school because I had a good opportunity. also he left too. however we were in different schools. I can not say that to him but I love him so much. I am in the 12th grade and I'm gone be graduated in 4 months.
I wrote there because when I live these thing I was watching Anne with an e, and I thought that we can be like Anne & Gilbert. Whatever if you read it whole that thank you. sorry my English.
I keep on rewatching the last 7 minutes because I love it! Especially when he hopes or of the carriage for her! I NEED ANOTHER SEASON (or 5)

Girls believe in good guys....they exist.....I didn’t talk to mine for 5 years and then he asked for my number and I turned him down but later I did end up giving it to him and one day we went to pick something up and we bent down at the same time and we looked at one another in the eyes and something inside me clicked and I realized I loved him 🥰
I’m so glad we got the ending we wanted but I’m HEART BROKEN that this was the last seasons 🥺😭😭

This series is absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! I binged it for 2 days straight lol... It's so so sad that there won't be more seasons :(( Enjoyed every bit of it. So educational, so inspirational,so romantic, so different from other series, SO WHOLESOME!!

yes this exactly me!! just finished last night and i feel so upset, the show was so beautifully produced and i have so many questions. they cant finish the show there!! i also am in love with gilbert and would love to see anne and gilbert’s relationship flourish!! i will definitely read the book
