I am a very satisfied owner of a P320 X Five, a P320 X Compact and P320 M17. I have no issues, zero complains, only praises. They 3 are magnificent modern handguns!
I just bought a Sig Sauer P320 X5 limited edition gun tonight. The limited edition X5, comes with a coyote brown slide and was only offered through one distributor. The dealership that I went to, bought the last 3 from them and I bought the last one. Needless to say, I cannot wait to get the thing to the range and put it through its paces to test and see just how well it performs. Just from examining the gun and dry firing it, I can tell that this gun is made very, very well! The trigger is as smooth as butter and the gun has a very nice balanced feel to it. This is only my second Sig Sauer hand gun. My first Sig Sauer pistol is a P365. To be honest, with it, it has given me a lot of problems and I don’t really trust the gun well enough to be my every day conceal and carry but in Sig Sauers defense, the more I have broke that gun in, the issues that I have had are starting to minimize. The X5 on the other hand, has been night and day different. Even loading up all 4 - 21 round magazines, was a piece of cake. Usually on a brand new gun, the last 1 or 2 bullets are a pain in the butt to load. But on my X5, all 84 rounds loaded very easily.
I own a SIG P320 X5 and love it. As soon as I saw it I made sure to get one ASAP. After 400 rounds I can say it is smooth and accurate right out of the box. The one thing I don't like and don't quite understand why SIG did it this way is that, if you decide to add a Romeo 1 optic, you will not be able to co-witness the rear iron sight (with the front sight and the optic) as it comes off with the the rear plate as one whole unit.
I will be picking up one of these as my next firearm purchase, looked at one last week and as soon as I picked it up I fell in love(and I'm a glock guy!!!). So comfortable, just felt awesome in hand and I think it is dead sexy, and it was surprisingly light.
Saw one at the gun shop yesterday and had love @ first sight. With the included 4 mags, I think this is a good value for the amount of pistol you're getting.
A straight trigger presents less surface area for the trigger fingers pressure point so the force on the trigger is concentrated in a smaller area. This helps reduce unwanted side loads which can pull a shot off target.
@@oliverallen5324 It was in the second one! Hopefully now with this being used by the United States Army, it could be used as frequently in movies/tv as the Sig P220 series.
Shot the X5 Coyote last week and loved it! If I got one now, I’d get the stainless steel slide. Loaded up to 21 rounds and the gun felt perfectly balanced and did not feel heavy like my fully loaded 19 round XDM OSP. Waiting on the X5 Legion to come out. Not sure i will like the heavier grip but will wait until it comes out and will decide which one is better for me. Not crazy about the Legion Gray color. Already have the Shadow 2 at 46 ounces, not sure I want another heavy gun in the over 40 ounce range. Time will tell.
seems like a fairly solid gun, I like the grip design on it, not so fond of having the top of the gun open like that, seems like an easy way to get really dirty. I don't own one of these, just speaking out of speculation
Awesome innovations with the P320X-Five @SigSauer love the look of the weapon and cant wait to get my hands on one! Keep up the great work! #NeverSettle #SigSauer #P320X-Five
Does the x5 frame scratch as easy as the standard p320? I mean lightly run your finger nail across your frame and you will have a permanent mark that cannot be removed. Not a flaw that will cause malfunctions but I have never seen as delicate finish on any gun!
Sig needs to start making their optic cuts to fit an RMR. Not just a Romeo. I recently chose a Glock 19 MOS gen 5 over the x compact simply because of this. I already have an Rmr and cannot just put it on the sig. why limit your consumer to just your optic? Lack of compatibility is why android exploded passed the iPhone. People want options
He stated that it features the same P320 modularity, which I assume means that you can swap out the caliber with any of the available P320 calibers. However, their site only lists 9mm, so you'd need to swap it the barrel out for a .40S&W.
So when will this be available as an "x-change" type kit for P320 owners? There has been a lot of promised "modularity" with the P320, but it appears to be vaporware (just like the promised modularity of the MPX).
Yeah. Pretty sure this wont be compatible with the rest of the 320 line, slide, grip is all different - hence why I dont think they should have even labeled it a 320.
Yeah, that 'fancy stuff' makes a TON of difference vs a regular 320. IMO - this shouldnt even be classified as a 320 - its that different and that much of an improvement over the 320s.
I'm not saying it doesn't and I'm not stating the stock trigger is bad...but if it's an extra 300 to 400 bucks it's undeniable that the trigger is one of the most critical portions to upgrade and I just find it odd they wud make it better than stock then just changing a tiny but if geometry on the face of it...
Its more than that. Its tuned over a stock (verified from my SIG rep, but unpublished outside the 'flat trigger') and the flat trigger gives it a totally different break character. You really need to try one - I just took mine out for the first time yesterday and it is STELLAR. I like it almost as much as my SAO Legion. Now, there are obviously other things that hike the price point - mag well, adj. sights, 4 mags, etc. but all in all, its a great gun. Really - you need to shoot one.
For USPSA, I assume it qualifies for carry optic as well. What about IDPA? If you take mag well off, will it work in ESP division, or will length of mags prevent it from using in IDPA?
I pre ordered the x carry version! Was looking forward for a release this month but still no release date. Makes me sad but I'm sure it's worth the wait. This will be my first pistol.
That is a helluva first pistol. the X-carry should be excellent. I've got a stack of 229's, 226's, Legion 226 SAO, MPX, and im stoked for the new x-five. You'll love it and get the Sig bite.
The only advice that I can give you is that you should have gotten a 9 mm to learn the fundamentals and gun handling before you go to something of this caliber but sigs are a fantastic gun Extremely well manufactured accurate and over all a fantastic piece of machinery however this is a large caliber for a first pistol only thing I can say is go to the range and practice practice practice and make sure you go to a range that has a rangemaster I've been handling guns my entire life and I still screw up and make mistakes however the recoil on this thing will be noticeably different than a 9 mm and a 9 mm will allow you to get the fundamentals down with all that said you made a great choice given the sig I love them Of course this is just my opinion
Will Sig be selling the X5 grip module as a stand alone option like the rest of the p320's grip modules or will we have to buy a p320 X5 to get that grip module?
will the P320 x5 only fit the Romeo1 sight? Or can it take others? Are there plans for accessory plates to fit other sights if the romeo1 is currently the only red dot it will take?
Shut up and take my money! But seriously.... I got a G17 Gen. 4 MOS with a RMR as a project gun. If the P320 generates a lot of aftermarket support, this will be my next handgun.
It’s a great all around pistol ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxnX9wE_Q8zvF75Y5iWzTU3Q4FlrtyGApQ , doesn’t fit in plastic glock 19 holsters but will fit in some non plastic ones. The location of the safety isn’t very good because your finger will accidentally activate it but it can easily be removed by pulling on both sides at once. Don’t lose the red o-rings while doing that.
Way too expensive. You can find Springfield XDm optics ready for a good $300 cheaper and if you get the optic with it then it's still $100 cheaper than just a P320 x-five without an optic. The only real difference is no flared mag well which is a $5 part.
3.00am and somebody's trying to force u off the road. 1 blast of a black pouder reloaded 500 gran. A fireball 3 feet long. I sure better have ear plugs handy.

do other red dots mount to it? A leupold deltapoint pro has a rear iron sight module you can add to it.
I didn't know Shooter McGaven worked for Sig!
Freedom Child The price is wrong bitch
Matt Man I eat pieces of shit like you for breakfast!
Freedom Child You eat pieces of shit for breakfast?
Freedom Child ewww
This looks really promising. Hope Sig plans to release these outside of the US markets too.

totally in love with SIG products, loving every bit and pieces, I adore the P320 line.that p320 X5 is boss.

Looks awesome! It would be good to see this in a 6" version!
that moment when you remember you live in California......... fml
Just hit the roster my friend👍🏽
@@napkinsingh meh... I've moved on lol
Make a 10mm double stack please

Sig P320: John Wick Edition
John wick 3 is supposed to be a thing. I'd like to see Sig on the silver screen.
Sneak Peak trailers are showing up on UA-cam.
@@oliverallen5324 It was in the second one! Hopefully now with this being used by the United States Army, it could be used as frequently in movies/tv as the Sig P220 series.
The agent Kurt Weller in the TV series Blindspot use the Sig Sauer P320 full size
Please make all the P320 grips like this
got mine last week. love it! looking forward to carry and vtac models.

Just waiting for the .40 S&W version, hope be in the Carry Version as well.
Marcus Cutrim Why do u like 40 s&w over the 9mm? Especially in a 21rd stock 9mm? just curious
Why
This in a 10mm would be a dream come true. I would sell and 2 pistols I own for that in a 10mm with the correct recoil spring poundage.
That gun looks so freaking sig i need one
Nice gun. I like the 4 mag deal. And sights are cool.
Where is the very fun and cool video showing how to rapid load mags on the X5? Can't find it.

I think being required to use a ROMEO 1 and having to remove the rear sight to do it is a fail!
Otherwise pretty sweet looking pistol.
Any possibility of metal grip modules even being available for the p320?
That thing looks really, really nice.
Are they being released in other calibers? This gun would be sick to run in USPA in .40S&W
jonnytestnj just watched a different clip where he said the 40 would be released later in the year.
He stated that it features the same P320 modularity, which I assume means that you can swap out the caliber with any of the available P320 calibers. However, their site only lists 9mm, so you'd need to swap it the barrel out for a .40S&W.
jonnytestnj 40 s&w are not worth building a pistol for. the forty is falling out of popularity, and the 9mm cartridge is hip again😕
I'm not crazy about 40sw but its extremely popular in the competition world. Other than that I have no interest in it.

I love my new P320 X5.
all that fancy stuff...and a stock trigger that's just shaped different?
Yeah, that 'fancy stuff' makes a TON of difference vs a regular 320. IMO - this shouldnt even be classified as a 320 - its that different and that much of an improvement over the 320s.

Is this IPSC approved? If so what division? Is it available in Canada yet or will it be?
toy collector looking like it's only making open divison
For USPSA, I assume it qualifies for carry optic as well. What about IDPA? If you take mag well off, will it work in ESP division, or will length of mags prevent it from using in IDPA?
Hopefully with both fingers crossed..This will be available to California residents? Since we can't get the CZ P10C..It would be nice to get this one.
That's one sexy gun.
Is this the x5 legion??
No, regular original X5
When will the X Carry come out?
That's the question everyone is asking and Sig is pretty much silent as usual.
Dave Prather I'm really wanting to just cancel my order and get an M&P shield performance center. What you think?
آل معزب nah. just be patient. it's with the wait.
I pre-ordered the x-carry gun as well. Called Sig to try and get some idea of when it's coming and nothing!
Durhamite77 how do you pre-order ?
I pre ordered the x carry version! Was looking forward for a release this month but still no release date. Makes me sad but I'm sure it's worth the wait. This will be my first pistol.
get a glock as a first pistol!
Worst advice ever.

What color way is this called? I only see the grey Legion color and the coyote. This one is super clean black with the silver barrel
Any word on when the X-Carry will be available?
Any gray frame for it??? It'd be awesome.
You went through the trouble to give it the option for mounting a red dot, but not do not offer more options than the Romeo 1.
When will the VTAC x-5 be available???
I didn't know sig made custom glocks
Glocks!? Lmao Glock is a second Shelf gun compared to Sig. 😂
Will the extended magwell be available for purchase separately? I would like to put one on the P320 X Carry
Nutnfancy, please review this
will the P320 x5 only fit the Romeo1 sight? Or can it take others? Are there plans for accessory plates to fit other sights if the romeo1 is currently the only red dot it will take?
Can you show the target crown up close
Has this been discontinued?
How about getting the x carry and vtac out.....for gods sake did you mean march of 18?
This thing looks beyond awesome! Go Germany ;-)
Seeing as Germany has a ban on Sig exports, I don't think this has much to do with Germany. Likely all USA made, which means crap trigger.
Ever shot a Legion 226 SAO? Yeah, didnt think so. Trigger is fantastic.
Actually yes and if that's what you call fantastic then your easily impressed.
John Doe funny you're the only person I've ever seen to say it's not impressive right out the box lol!
Well, you must be hard to impress, because the Greyguns trigger is great. To each their own I suppose.
I know you probably get this a lot but how would someone propose a gun design to
sig saeur ?
What about the 357 sig cal?
PLEASE make a NJ legal version!
Can that trigger be added to the standard full size 320?
they should have made the magazine flush with the mag well though. Hope they bring a .45 out also!
It would be too hard to get out then.
Are mags interchangeable w regular p320's
10 mm barrel/slide please or another release
In 10?
Why I can't buy this barrel for my own p320???
Would be nice with threaded barrel and optic version then I am ready to buy!!!
Wish I could keep the iron sights when I put a red dot on it
Is there a threaded barrel available for this?
Will the P320 X-Five fit into the same Blackhawk Serpa holster that I use for my Full size P320?
Thomas Kajohn I'm going to venture off and say no. there are holsters already available for the x series tho.
...and good looking too.
what is the cost?
How does this stack up against a cz
