When I was younger I always used to go the library to take a book out, go swimming and then pick up some veg from the shop in the middle of the centre next to what was the old co op. That was over 20 odd years ago for me.
Remember the old centre well and still say it was better than the new one also there was Gordon’s the old barbershop I had my first haircut there many happy memories brillint video

My Great-Grandfather and his Father lived there. At 3 Bell Bank View. They had a boat rental business on the River Aire, sometime around 1900.

Anybody remember the old VW shop near the old steps down to the station ?
