I own the same gun. Each time you closed the gun I was wondering why you weren't closing it harder and then you did . That's the trick . Your spot on .
I had this problem years ago when T/C brought the FX to market. I called T/C which I was and still am a big fan of. They in no way wanted to check the gun and hopefully correct the problem. It wasn't until I flat out told them I had totally lost confidence in the gun and did not want another FX. It was then that we struck a deal that I send the gun back and they sent me another Encore model which has had no problems and I'm happy with the replacement Encore. I still like all of my 4 Encore's but CVA has closed the gap as I own 3 CVA's. I will have to say my Encore Endeavor, Pro Hunter, and CVA Accura are absolute shooters.
Thank you for your video!! I had same issue and now I know that’s to you how to fix it I cannot find anywhere the federals or cci but I will slam it w my winchesters and get it done for now They also recommend the 209m ?? Vs 209 I don’t believe that is an issue ??
Not snapping the barrel closed. When you closed it gently there was no snap. Locking bolt no snapping into the locking shelf and disengaging the hammer block
What happens when it does exactly with your trouble you’re having even without a primer in it when I take the primer plug out of the barrel it works to kick the the trigger and the hammer but when I put back in the plug without the primer and try to pull back to hammer it does not do it. Any ideas?
I think I can help you. At some point you took your rear stock off, there's a hex bolt and had a thick washer and a locking washer. One or both are not in the, my guess it's the locking, this will cause your hammer not to lock. Your Beach has zero to do with the hammer in any way. Find the washers that hold the rear stock on and install. You'll not have this issue any more. And primers have nothing to do with the hammer. Also make sure your firing pin is not sticking out.
I have never taken the stock off. It happens because the primer is not "seating" itself completely. As in the video, I can put a primer in the breach plug, softly close the action, and the hammer will not cock. I can open the action, slam it home, and the hammer will cock. I found an article somewhere on the www that stated their is a difference between the Winchester primers and other primers. It is small difference, but, it is there.
@@4greenfam not looking to argue just trying to help. It just doesn't seem that a primer would be the issue. As a suggestion I would check that stock screw, it must have a double thick washer and a lock washer, and next would be the lock up springs in the barrel itself. UA-cam has a really good video for upgrading all the springs from M*carbo. Mine is coming today and when you see this I'm pretty sure you'll do the same. Hope this helps
If you had held the trigger and dropped the hammer it would have went off it just happened to me today. Not a very accurate shot but gets the job done.

Remington klean Bore primers never have that problem again
In that rifle can the barrels be exchanged for some of different calibers or is the one that has the ability to do so another specific model?
Mine won’t lock up now after cleaning…..help!!
