It has been disappointing to post reels, and only have it reach my followers. I've seen people go viral posting reels 2-5x a week, vary from 5-30 hashtags, and even reusing the same ones. But when I try those ideas, I get nothing! It's been a doozy to grow lately. It's like Instagram picks and chooses who they want to give exposure to, even when others are making great content as well:/ I really hope posting more reels a week will help me!
I’ve been trying to be more consistent with what I post. Maybe trying to post some trends people follow and posting on the same time everyday has shown some progress. So maybe that would help?
Currently posting reels everyday to see how it affects my page. So far I've noticed it killed my engagement but my reach is way better. As for the followers haven't seen much growth just yet but it's only day 2. I'll be back with updates

I REALLY wish there were analytics for reels. It’s so hard to tell if my reels are doing well, being pushed out and if people are liking the content. Do you have any tips on how to see which reels of yours your audience likes?

So true I am a vegan content creator and created two trending TikTok recipe trends and they did amazing on reels! However it is frustrating to be creating quality content and instagram not boosting it 😩 and the amount of posting for me is tough. I post at least 2-3 reels a week and while they went viral when reels was first added to Instagram it seems like they aren’t pushing them as much now maybe because so many people are making reels now. I used to have 100k plus views and now only 5k 🤷🏽♀️

I just got access to my Reels yesterday with the new IG Update. Excited to test them out for me. Currently, the growth I see on my personal brand is between 10 to 15K/month, but with the use of reels just like you shared in this video, I am certain it can be pushed

Sony's have great quality images but they overheat all the time. I shoot on a sony 7s ii and thank God I have a monitor attached cause back in the day before I had one, I never knew that it turned off and I'd be talking to the camera for no reason! but the good thing is, you can easily turn it back on. I've never had an issue with it stopping recording and not recording again right after when I press the record button again.
I'm still ashamed of posting reels, but i do a lot of tiktoks and some of them went kinda viral so i dont really know if what is viral in tiktok will be on Instagram.

For some reason my personal Instagram doesn't have a reels option. All my client's IG pages has a button that allows me to post reels, but it is just simply missing on my own account. I've tried deleting the app and nothing has worked. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Hello from Singapore!! In Singapore reels is not out yet. Posting every day? I don't really see much of improvements on my followers. Keep losing followers. Been trying almost everything. More on ig story, did helps abit on followers. 😭
For a while, my Reels were not saving correctly in drafts and would not post AT ALLLL ( I lost a few Reels because of this) I'm hoping it's been fixed so I can start batching! Thank you for the advice. It really always comes down to patience and putting in the work. Within time.
If you reside in the US you are most privileged, or if you live in an English speaking country, you’re somewhat privileged too. Reels must be great for you. BUT, if you live in a smaller country, or non-English speaking country, it’s not great. And if your content is in English or another language that is different from the local language, Reels annoyingly won’t work. Because it first appears domestically only. Only when your content gets a big number of likes or views it goes international. This is hugely unfair for smaller countries content creators. I tried VPN and set my location to the US, but stil Instagram detects my location and doesn’t show me English content. Normal posts go international much more easily. So I gave it up.

That sounds like a lot. That platform has been difficult the past 8 months posting 2x a day 5x a week have gone down 2,000 followers. I only have posted reels and it’s frustrating.

I wonder what time to post is the best. I found that I get quite an amount of views on the weekend (between 1pm to 1.30pm) but during the week they barely get any views (I'm lucky if I get 300 views). I've tried to post at the times my followers are active on weekdays (mostly in the evening) and it doesn't work at all.

I feel like we'll never get them, Instagram only cares about USA users now and has made in extremely clear with the Reels function. They will grow and we will shrink.

As I understand, the absence of music is actually the reason of them not giving us Reels, even though that doesn't make sense - we could be uploading Reels with our own sounds like we do with stories or feed posts. And they won't be adding music because they need to buy a license for it in every country, and, apparently, we aren't good enough to be spending that money.

usually if something performs well on TikTok that's a good indication it will do well on Reels too!

This was happening to me. I figured out that it was because my phone was needing the memory space and clearing cache to make more space.

I had issues with my Sony a5100 overheating which was such a pain. Other than that loved it but ended up with a Canon M50
