This is a DIY/Semi-guided bear hunt in Ontario where I go each year for opening week of bear season. Saw several bears and shot one over 200lbs on the third day.
You cannot shoot a cub that is accompanied by a sow. So basically they have to be three years old before you shoot them because the cubs stay with the sows for two years.
Perfect shot she didn't go far at all! I love your high quality channel for bears, deer, and anything outdoors. Glad I found you and recently subbed. I shot a 285# boar (first bear hunt) in Ontario with rifle.
its a personal thing and it really sets in the fact that it's life has ended. They have a lot of life force and spirit.
Well you can't eat them when they are alive.
Well done. Real life experience
what part of Ontario do you hunt?
This is near Kenora.
I thought you would hold out for a better size bear. Before you shot, I was like, pass on that lightweight sow
Bears of all sizes are good to eat!
Shes a nice looker. I do live on Manitoulin Island Ontario. Shes reminds me of the Island bears. Great video Cheers
I love the way you put bait. How much do you spend?
that was a good quarter shot ; you got him just before he got in the woods
Nice shot
Nice shot. Can you tell me if there are any regulations on how old a bear can be before you can kill it?
