Its really nice to see these types of sewer cameras in action. These companies think their doing reviews, but they just throw them on a table and show you what it has… thank you
Here is another video of a vevor camera that I just started using because I broke the reel on the anysun. ua-cam.com/video/pX6A_tUVCu4/v-deo.html both seem to be decent for the price.
Just a hint, run some cold water through a few sinks to aid in getting through the line a bit better and less chance of damaging the camera, especially one as cheap as that one. Avoid warm water as this will fog up the lens.
I was unreeling and reeling in the camera like Handy Landlord was for a long time but my coworker saw what I was doing, shook his head, and showed me a way to hold the reel that makes unreeling/reeling sooooo much easier: - When you hold the handle of the reel, make sure the reel is parallel to the ground, not perpendicular to the ground like Handy Landlord is holding it. - When you grab the reel from out of the case, that is exactly the position it should be in when you unreel and reel in the camera (parallel to the ground). Make sure the camera cable is in that little hook area on the handle just like in the video when reeling/unreeling. - Use your thumb on the hand that is holding onto the handle of the reel to control the cable going in and out of the reel. I hold the handle of the reel with my left hand and my thumb is on the right side of that hook that is on the handle; and it stops/starts the reeling and unreeling. - Lastly, you want the case / screen on the side where you are holding the reel. If you hold the handle of the reel with your left hand, you want the case / screen on your left side so the cord isn't going from the bottom of the reel, under the reel, and across to the case / screen. It is all on the same side of you. Awesome video and hopefully these tips help!
Great. I used it about 40 or 50 times in and out of drains before I kinked the cable. This thing helped me so much to confirm I got all the roots and to check for cracks broken pipes. Well worth it. I can purchase a lot of these for 10k. Haha. I am testing out a vevor sewer camera. Basically the same thing just a different cable holder.
I'm looking to buy one of these, but I'm understanding from another video, the cable is so thin, that as you real in and out from the brackets, it's starts tearing up the cable where you can see the copper after awhile and so that may not be the best camera for plumbing, I also have a 165' larger sewer camera that I've used 100's of times for over 5 years, but sometimes I need to locate the area, so some of these new smaller ones might do, but the cable I don't trust.
The cable on this modle is Highh quality . I've had mine for 2 years and it stopped working due to electrical issues with the fuse and water getting in from me not taking care of it
Yes I was able to get it past 4 in 90. I’m now using the vevor 150ft sewer camera. Both are good cheap cameras imo. m.vevor.com/pipe-inspection-camera-c_11031/150ft-pipe-inspection-camera-hd-1200-tvl-drain-sewer-camera-9-in-lcd-monitor-p_010661582246
Hey guys, has anyone use the VEVOR 512HZ Pipe Locator Pipe Sewer Inspection 7" Sewer Camera with 165ft Cable. I was looking at this video and the unit is similar to the design of mine but for some reason trying to coil the camera back in is not as simple as the one in this video. I noticed in this video you're holding it with one hand and just pulling on the cable then the wheel moves freely btu for some reason when I try it the coil just starts unbinding out of the casing it's in. Anyone else have an issue like this?

@@handylandlord let me ask you? So if they break we can not find parts for them? Thank you in advance

I just bought this for my new home inspection business that I started. I couldn't afford 10k for a sewer camera.

we have the larger functional Sewer camera with better price.

These newer toilets and faucets less water effect the drains to not enough flow to get it far enough dien the line
Might have to weld a little stand for the line wheel. Or maybe an extension cord wheel
Definitely agree. Maybe a winter project/video.
Happy Thanksgiving!!
Does it come with locator
No. The model I purchased does not have a locator.
will it navigate a 4" 90 elbow ?
