    How about Bflat, or what, even a lower pitch. Is it unnecessary to look at the music from an original sound perspective, if we even know exactly what that was for piobaireachd or the older folk tradition.

    I'm sorry but this just sounds completely wrong. Some things need to remain in their original form!!! Bagpipes is one of them!
