@Ali Raza so people have brains too like a promotion is just a ad like we see on tv. we should understand that cpm rate of Pakistan doesn't allow any channel to run so at the end of day it's a necessity. Just see it like a ad and if it is useful to you then have a look at it.
So basically Junaid is also like any other creator who can sponsor anything for MONEY.
One thing you missed telling us is they have rotational shifts, so it is pretty hard to manage studies especially if you are studying at an institute that has fixed class timing. Also, they are notorious in terms of paying freshers, so please don't promote everything you get asked for, do some research.

Should have mentioned it as He's encouraging females to apply, and this is the deal breaker for most of them. Also UPTO 100,000 is just clickbait. These BPOs are truly bullshit. They actually pay u less than 30k and make u work like a donkey. It's a scam work where u have to tell them a wrong name to talk to ur customer
Some things to consider:
Firstly, they won’t pay you anything before 60 days cuz they have a weird policy on this.
Secondly, it’s a jail where you are limited to breaks. If you exceed your break even by a second, it drastically effects the salary overall.
Also, Their QA is worst in the world. One little mistake and your performance goes to zero like its nothing.
So basically, they will find a way to deduct your salary one way or the other.
All I see in this video are LIES on top of LIES.

See, this is a unconventional call center. What lacks in this video is.
1- These never give you a handsome salary on frequent basis. Rather, they have a monthly targets which are to be accomplished. If you don't do it, they fire you within a second.
2- Rotational shifts are not flexible for students, especially for boys. You can't heed on studies while working in a call center.
3- If you want to take an experience, you can join because of its name but it will not help you to gain a job in a reputed sector unless you work in the departments like HR, Secretary, or Marketing, etc.
4- This is good for those who are Matric or Intermediate in qualification, or for not having a job in this economic crisis.

Most Pakistanis have never met a professional from the US, let alone understood the starkly contrasting differences between the culture shown on TV versus real life.
It is a clever tactic by unethical employers. Give insane targets, make people toil 24 x 7 in desperation. Then fire the exhausted guy and hire a new scapegoat in the place.

This ad is misleading on so many levels. The first thing i would like to share is that there is nothing like a 100000 salary. About 99 percent of the employees are earning 22-25k a month. Imagine living in a city like islamabad and earning that much of a huge amount 😄.
Secondly the atmosphere of karachi and islamabad branches is completely different and generally you see those advertising campaigns and social media ads depicting the karachi office environment. Meanwhile the islamabad one is totally a different picture and their toxic culture is way beyond any other organization.
There is no such thing as 1 lac per month a few campaigns may have that salary but the number of openings there are very few. The maximum salaries you could earn in a domestic campaign is 25k approx which too gets deducted in the name of things you might unheard of at the time of joining.
The shifts are rotational and you might be called on anytime no matter even if your last shift was 2 hours before. So it appears to be a good marketing tactic but there is a bitter reality behind the curtains of spectacular editing. Peace.

22 25k thing is not correct. People are more almost 30k in local centers and internationallay the pay above 40k to 70k and in some call centres abovf 70k to 150k.

@@Englishpracticenow96 I have worked there unfortunately. 20-25 was the max agents go. They claim around 30 but after unnecessary deduction it rounded up to 25-26 . Yes they pay 50-70 in international and that is not 1 lac even but the number of vacancies for international are very few. There is no way that they are claiming 1000 vacancies worth 1 lac salary each. So that was my point.
To add to my last comment. Don’t even get me started on their leaves policy. You are entitled to around 14 annual leaves which are impossible to utilize. It’s impossible to take an off there at all. And if you are infact sick and really can’t come, get ready to get a 5k deduction on your first off, and another 5K on your second off. After that, you get warnings until you’re forced to leave. I know tons of stories where a person needed an off because their mom OR dad died. These guys did not let them go early OR gave them an off. There’s a reason why they are ALWAYS HIRING. Almost 10 people leave on an average EVERY DAMN DAY. Working there is toxic. The management, and people there will eat you alive. It’s literally the worst place you can ever work at.
So, yeah it looks great on the outside tbh, but once you’re in things change rapidly. Junaid akram never worked there so he can only know so much, so it’s not his fault of course.
If you’re really desperate, and you literally have no other option, then sure..go for it!
Otherwise, it’s better to let it go.

We used to eat while being on calls, no break for prayers after Iftaar.
No holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Adha, 9-10 Muharram, 14 August, . That's how bad it is :)

I consider this man Mr. Junaid Akram as my mentor. After watching this video my experience with this company was just to the extent of an interview. I have a bachelor's degree with a 3.55 CGPA. They offered me only 29k. While the watchman standing outside the company will have a salary of more than 35k. No hate for watchman I appreciate. And they are keeping me at 29k which they think is too much for a bachelor's degree holder. Seriously pathetic!!!
And also told me that I cannot compromise with their working shift in my master's degree going forward. What they meant was that I should leave my studies become a slave and come to work with them in 29k. And if it calls for any shift then I join For giving no reason.

I’ve been following you for a very long time junaid bhai I love your views about different stuff and the way you portray your passion for the country’s betterment through your videos. But this video is very misleading. I’ve been in the BPO industry as well and I’ve interviewed for Ibex and trust me this 1 lakh thing is total bullshit. 10 hours shifts totally disconnecting you from your social life, night shifts with a basic pay of 20k and you have to work your ass off to get to 80k so 1 lakh is not easy. I’m sorry if you don’t like my comment but i just want to let you know that this is very misleading for people who have no idea about this industry.

I'm from the Indian BPO industry and after reading the comments below I realized that the Indian BPO industry is way ahead and better in terms of employee benefits etc. Hope our best practices will be adopted by the Pakistani BPO industry as well. Good luck.

@@Arhan47gamingff No it isn't. The BPO companies are bound by guidelines given by NASSCOM. I doubt Pakistan has a NASSCOM equivalent and even if it does how influential it is. All the good BPOs..Genpact, TCS, WNS etc. have strong employee grievance rederessal mechanisms including mechanisms to take care of mental health, sexual harassment, integrity issues, etc. Pakistani BPOs, going bybthe comments in this video seems to be lacking these.

After leaving job. I was asked to wait for 60 days to get my pending salary. Which was almost 40k. After waiting for long 60days i was a given a cheque of 3440 rupees. And they had lame excuses to support their arguments.

I've read all the comments, which made me realise that I needed to share my own experience throughout working in Ibex. I've been here for the past 11 months, have been giving my best and in return, getting the best of the opportunities. I'l be honest, there was a time I wanted to leave this place due to my own study related issues and the peer pressure, but I stood firm because not only this is one of the most safest organisations for the girls, but also knows how to value their treasure. As for the environment, I believe it varies from a person to person, i've seen the best of the versatility here and at the end of the day, it all depends on how you take yourself. This has been my first job experience and honestly speaking, the best one so far as well !!

@@logophilic4318 Alhamdulillah, i've taken 5 of my annual leaves abtakk, as for the rest, i do get 2 offs per week and so do the majority of the people, rarely you're going to be called for standbys or covers, that too you're going to enjoy and will be getting back real quick, and its just been 11 months to me, obviously to earn healthy you'd have to compromise on alot of things, thats the least a good future asks for but trust me, they don't give youu such hard time, idk about the rest but my own management has been the most supportive throughout everything for me

Bhai I worked at Ibex for 3 months. Starting mein they were cooperative but gradually they changed my shifts from morning to evening and on some days I had to work from 5 pm till 1 or 2 am. Some more time later they would call me at 11 pm (on workdays after my evening shift had ended and even on off days) to come to the premises and ofcourse I had to because otherwise they would threaten to fire me and told me that there were a thousand others who were waiting to be in my position.

Oh gosh, In my Islamabad office, many boys left Ibex and joined the company where I work. I have listened to their horrible stories, all of them have some common points like, no OR v short breaks in the whole shift (you have to be on your station all time), even if you have to go to the loo, get permission from floor supervisor. there are very few leaves allowed and a good chunk of salary gets deducted if you take 1 leave. the turn over rate is so high that you can get fired anytime and thats why their positions are always open for walk-in interviews. the work-life balance of employees is a mess.

As I am seeing so many people share their experience about ibex, I'd like to share my experience regarding the interview and selection process. For me it was very different then what I'm seeing in these comments because when I went for a walk-in interview I just had to give them my cv and wait in their waiting area.
My name got called and I gave a short interview before being sent to give a small test around English language and typing speed. I got good scores in both and so gave a second and a third interview on the same day and was hired then and there.
So in just one day I went in with no experience and just a CV and got hired with a salary package of total 90k so I don't agree with these comments but I can understand that the pay for the domestic campaigns is very low.
I'm considering to apply there as well.. could you please tell me their shift timings as I'm also pursuing a degree from a university (evening 6-9).
What's your qualification? And do they hire ppl who have done intermediate, but got good spoken and written English Skills?

My experience after working for almost a year in IBEX Lahore is that the team building, the support and the humbleness you get to see from your seniors is just unreal. Personally i don't think in Pakistan there can be a better work environment than Ibex and i am not even exaggerating it. I would definitely recommend anyone who is looking to learn a highly useful skill of communication to join us.

This sounds too good to be true. Please due your diligence before promoting these companies. Again Junaid Akram, it is easy to turn a blind eye while taking $ but consider the impact you have on people's lives. You are starting to loose your credibility, atleast in my eyes.

I have worked at Ibex previously and it is SHIT. Their market presnece is strong but it is a jail, people. They'll try to lure you by money but you will end up having extreme scrutiny and rigidity. The bosses are rude, and you get insulted over trivial things. The hours are crazy and you can only earn well if you can speak in English and are a part of an international campaign, but if it's a local campaign/company then the payout is petty. Maximum break is for an hour (namaz, food and rest included), HOW THE HELL DOES ONE PLAY GAMES? Last thing, a lot of shady shit happens here. A lot of people (especially desperate ones) work here to feed their families but they get trapped in the system. Please beware!
PS: You cannot use your phones on the floors, so except your breaks i.e. about 7 hours you CANNOT use your phone. Moreover, there's this Compliance department they have and they can give you a warning on anything from your dressing, to if you were not on your desk, to the most bizarre and stupid thing.

Kindly research on it properly when it comes to a office environment and the policies you will get the answer its more like a jail and secondly they won't pay you well many of my mates including me had a very bad experience they treat agents like their slaves.
Zaleel kartay hain aur kuch nai. They call you in for interview. Then they make you sit in the lobby with the people who are there for walk-in interview. This is despite the fact that you tell them the person’s name who contacted you and gave you that specific time for the interview. After waiting 3+ hours they will call you in for an interview where they’ll ask you questions about yourself just to gauge your proficiency in English. After that they’ll call you in for a test. Then another test after that. Then they’ll quote you a much lower salary amount than what you were initially told. If you still decide to give this a shot, they’ll call you in for another interview with a senior employee. Finally, they’ll say that they’ll let you know in a few days. After a few days they’ll ask you to come again one more time for a final interview. Just by the way, all of these interviews that you have had so far will have pretty much the same questions as if the employees never communicated with each other about you or where you stand. Pretty ironic for a BPO I’d say. Anyway, I will say that please only go for IBEX if you’re absolutely desperate for a job and have no other skill. Been there twice and what I described above has been my experience both the times. Another friend confirmed that his experience was same as well.

Cmon guys! Don't be too harsh. It's 50/50 for me. Not the best place but also not the worst. Though I'll never recommend it lol. Avoid such environments like a plague if you're worried about your TIME, mental health, social life etc. But if you don't care about mental health, got no life, can work for 10+ hours day/night shifts for everyday(Yup not for everyone specially girls), Desperate to learn something even after a degree (with little to no pay and just 20k+ after months), then go on try it. At the cost of your time, life and health lol.
Ibex is good for a month but don't even think about being a permanent employ and earning 100k there lol. No BIG no. Not gonna happen easily.
Most problems are as others stated like Shift change, extended hours are taken as granted etc. But the ONE i hate most is their Treatment of employees. Doesn't matter how hardworking you're they'll still TERMINATE you if they want without any considerations. The guys are fckin TOXIC and Rude. The working grind is literally ENSLAVEMENT. You should have researched more about them. Specially the reviews of ex-employes.
Speaking from personal experience,
"There's no free chicken dinner in this world." Folks! To earn 100,000/month (CS/SE/IT dept.), you have to have the credibility and skills of a top class senior developer/programmer. You'll only be able to earn 1Lac+ if your company is earning *MILLIONS.* Such companies are very critical about everything. You know the grind. No one's gonna pay you 100k if you can create a simple webpage/site/app lol, that's just tip of iceberg. It takes real skills to earn upto 100k specifically in Pakistan.
For beginners, I'll recommend to try Freelancing or Fiverr for once. There's a strategy for "project investments" etc whatever work for you.
If you're lucky you'll play in millions in months. Mind you as i said you should have good skills.

Junaid Bhai, I worked there in Lahore office and quit last month. it's not worth working there. We had to work 10-12 hours in night till morning, base salary was 40, really pressure cook type work, sometimes we have to work straight 7 days a week

I think it's an old TRG company. It reminds me of BPO/call center boom in Pakistan in 2003 or 2004 onwards when TRG, on top of all BPO companies, was hiring call center agents or people from any field or age with only good English speaking ability. TRG enjoyed a bad reputation in those days and I think it still does having reviewed the comments.

We used to eat while being on calls, no break for prayers after Iftaar.

To sum up all the comments here, reviews from friends and family who have worked here, it is a good place to groom yourself when you get out from colleges or universities and due to lack of teaching of social/people/professional skills in our country, one can work here for a year or so to get up to the required mark of the market. Other than that, “chakla” hai yeh. And no chakla is not an abusive remark lughat mein hai urdu ki.

Bhai ye bpo ka job hai , call centre hi maano..isme kitna bhi kar lo kaam..achhi growth nhi... Instead of this, if someone works on technical skills and hones a demanding skillset like full stack development, data analyst/engineer/scientist roles....tab starting me kam bhi paise mile to baad me achhi growth mil jaati hai..but this bpo work doesn't have much growth....
In fact this is a dying industry....in the next 8-10 years.... majority of these works will get automated with the technologies like RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and ML & Ai
