I just joined the club today staccato XL, my stomach felt sick when I dropped the cash on it lol, it was worth it, got it this morning shoots flawlessly, locks back every time, put several hundred rounds through it, in love with, it's like butter, shot silver dollar size groups to the head and bullseye.
Lol I feel ya! Dropping over 3k kinda hurt but once you get the gun and shoot it it all makes sense why it cost so much lol

@@hurt1704 yes I did just a couple days ago. I've only put about 200 rounds through it but its accurate and ridiculously smooth. You can definitely feel that two grand in your hands. Also much lighter than expected compared to a full steel 1911.

It is not best practice to drop the slide on a 1911/2011 without a cartridge in the chamber. The un-cushioned impact can damage the sear to hammer interface and ruin that nice crisp trigger. You can do that with a Glock, but not a 1911/2011.

TheNewGunGuy love the chrome version. I only went with black because all my other guns are silver. About to make another channel just for guns. Will send you the name shortly and I will do more reviews on this gun if you wana subscribe

TheNewGunGuy the chrome mags would not allow the slide to lock back at end of mags so sti sent me black ones. Check out my new video on new channel you can move mag release to other side for lefties

Allen Feng nope I am not a professional and I stated that in the video. Was giving you an average joe not paid by anyone opinion. But go watch some professional cover the gun who’s being paid to do it so he can be more of a salesman than giving you an honest opinion.
Him hitting the slide release hurt me, its not a glock doing that can mess up the trigger
It wasn’t the slide release. STI said they sent wrong mags. Nothing to do with slide release.
@@MoneyHungryPicker im saying hitting the slide release without a bullet in the way to cushion the action could knock your trigger out of spec and will become mushy overtime, just like a corvette, it’ll be a little bit more expensive then a f-150 but you can run it faster but you just have to be a little more careful with it

And for future reference the correct way is to ride the slide up a little with your hand just to make it a little easier on it for longevity
