My birthstone. 💜 There are three outstanding varieties of this crystal: "Rose de France" amethyst (pinkish lavender gem from Brazil), Moroccan amethyst (with red flashes caused by hematite inclusions) and Zambian amethyst (which resembles luxurious amethysts from depleted Siberian deposit). 😍
Hi Diamond, Citrine meanings is definitely on our list of stones to cover. It takes a while for each stone, but we will get there. Thanks for your suggestion :)
Hi, the Amethyst beads are 9-10mm in length. We use a stretch cord that is very stretchy. There are many different brands that sell it, here is one example: www.amazon.com/Stretchy-Bracelets-Elastic-Bracelet-Necklaces/dp/B07Q8RTBZ4/ref=sr_1_10. It is not perfect, but it's the best one we found in all of our years of stretch bracelet making.
Another excellent video, I love the crystal jewelry and nail polish you wear to match the gemstone :) I did some research on green amethyst and found essentially it is purple quartz (amethyst) that transformed to green quartz due to high temperatures. More correctly known as Prasiolite. If I may suggest that for the close-ups of the stones - if they could be held towards the left or right of you, then they will be against the clear background and perhaps easier to see. I look forward to watching the next one.
Hi Samantha, I have not heard of Amethyst turning green on its own, but if there are other minerals included in the stone, it can turn green. For example, copper turns green on oxidation. If you're unsure of your piece, here's a helpful article: satincrystals.com/pages/crystal-mineral-and-meteorite-identification

What size round stones are your blacelets? And what brand of elastic string do you use/recommended? Tired of ones that don't hold up as well.

very interesting thank you
You are very welcome, Oksana 😁
Can real amethyst be a dull grayish purple?
Hi Samantha, yes I can. It ranges from all tones of purple. As long as it has some purple!
@@satincrystals Thank you for getting back to me. Although I have another question, can an amethyst turn green without heat treatment?

I love amethyst so much I wasn’t born in the month of February but I have so much of it
You definitely don’t have to be born in the month of February to love amethyst. It is one of the most beloved stones among everybody! 🥰
Thank you for this one, you gave out a lot of information.
You are welcome!
Nice video! Thank you 💟
Thank you, too!
