Well for me I feel like we need Sesko more but Alvarez isn’t a bad player either, he just gonna cost us more to get that Sesko release clause. Sesko is one of those generational talent we’ll get close to Haaland or Kane. Sesko has the physical and height present which would help us become more deadly on set pieces with Tosin joining the team to with same height as sesko. Sesko controls the ball as good as berbatov and has extreme pace . Honestly feel he’s going to blend in with our attacking system easily and be a great asset to us . Alvarez on the other hand is already a premier league proven striker, lacks the height but he’s very good in every other aspect. He’s a good free kick taker and has a high conversion rate on his shooting ability. He’s 24yrs while sesko 21yrs. Only reason I’d go for Alvarez and not sesko maybe his experience and partnership he has with Enzo and of course his general attributes. If you’re given a chance to get someone that has the haaland striking potential to me I won’t think twice and that’s Sesko. But if we looking for a Haaland’s backup Option Alvarez is what we get , funny enough we can end up buying Alvarez and Man City replaces him with Sesko, it would be a shame coz then Man City would be having two Haaland in their squad.
That’s what I’ve being trying to tell people.

He's a £100M striker, trust me. As a Man City fan I don't want the club to sell him to a PL team, if they do then the fee has to be ridiculous, he's contracted to City till 2028 so City have all the power here
If the player wants to leave. Then you'll have to take necessary actions. Even if that means lowering the fee.
Otherwise, you'll have one unhappy player at the camp. And that's bad for team morale. Esp with Pep being the coach.

@Iamwhatyousayiam That's true, but the fee has to be right, City sold Jesus to Arsenal for £50M, Sterling to Chelsea for £50M, but something a lot of people overlook is that both players had only a year left on their contracts, so City got the maximum they could for them, Alvarez is different because City don't have to sell him, he's not going to kick up a fuss, and if they did the fee has to be right, he only renewed his contract last season

@@kayceek3272 Nkunku is not injury prone. Poch’s training methods were too intense not just for him but for the whole squad. Check his injury record before he arrived at Chelsea.
The point is we can’t just keep buying players, everyone was so happy when we signed Nkunku and now look at us.
I’m not saying Alvarez won’t be a good signing of course he’s a great player but will have to spend at least 60-80 million for him which makes no sense.
