    Man. Jeff does not miss with his sermons. I may go out on a limb and say, this dude is one of the best pastors in this generation. God bless him, and God thank you for men like him you have placed in this world to do you bidding.

      I agree. I think he has the potential to be the next John MacArthur, so to speak.

    A neighbor falsely accused my husband and that was the most stressful time I've ever experienced. I thought it was stressful when I almost lost my husband to a heart attack, but being falsely accused was a totally different level of stress. Our daughter was required to live with someone else until cps decided that my husband wasn't a threat. I thank the Lord that our daughter was able to stay with my parents. I felt that this experience forced us into a corner where we either had to completely trust God with this or go absolutely crazy and be consumed by all the feelings you get when you've been completely betrayed. Praise God the police and cps found no proof of the accusations and they both closed their cases.
    All this to say, this whole ordeal has driven me to find out what is slander. Slander in the greek is dioblos which means satan/devil. Finding this out was a huge revelation to me. I don't want to be like that. I'm studing and praying for the Lord to search my heart on this one. We need to be different from the world. So different that when others are observing our lives they will see that there is a difference and will want to know what that difference is. If we look and act like the world then our testimony will have no impact on their lives.

    It’s been a long time since I’ve watched Pastor Jeff and it’s weird to see him in suits and ties lately. I think James White did that to him.

    We may search the Scriptures from Genesis to Revelation, but we will not find a single son or daughter of Adam who has been elected for salvation in disobedience to His Holy Law. And since the Law is Holy, just, and good, it follows that a character formed by obedience to that law will also be holy.
    Christ is the perfect example of such a character. He says: "I have kept My Father's commandments." "I do always those things that please Him." John 15:10; 8:29.
    The followers of Christ are to become like Him-by the grace of God to form characters in harmony with the principles of His holy law.

    Hi pastor I know you read the Bible carefully but how can this verse be understood any other way then the way it is.
    And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

      This is about intent.
      Are you praying for the purpose of being noticed by others and thought righteous or are you praying because the LORD loves the glorification that prayer creates?

    • @ChristinaFromYoutube
      @ChristinaFromYoutube Рік тому +4

      Jesus in the garden or in the wilderness.. not in a closet praying. He is speaking of intent not location.

      @@ChristinaFromUA-cam but the only reason one would pray out loud is if you intend that others would hear you, doesn’t god hear your silent prayers. Many pastors seem to preach a mini sermon as a prayer directed towards the audience. Considering this verse is confusing to me.
