    #3 from the angle it was photographed after polishing looks a bit like two eyes and a nose. It looks like it is examining an agate for which way to cut it.

    To be honest, they are all beautiful with very elegant colors. Nice session. How long does it really take you cutting one stone?

      It depends on the size of the stone ofcourse. I would think about 5 minutes per piece with clamping it in. :)

    Is there a reason you cut the last one in a 1/3 to 2/3 ratio instead of into 2 halves?

      The bigger volume of the stone is more shifted to the right side from the viewers point of view. In most cases the most developed banding is where the agate has its thickest part.
      Obviously not always, like this pieces shows, but in many cases it does. 😄
