Having Tree Troubles? Blame Previous Years’ Droughts

Maple Grove-based Yes! Trees is especially busy this time of year responding to customer calls for fallen trees. You might think all the rain has something to do with it, but tree experts point to droughts from the previous two summers.
“You’re getting extreme opposite, right? We get the drought for two years, which is not good for trees, the root system, the structure of the trees. And then we’re getting this onslaught of rain that keeps on coming,” said Lance Gardner, owner of Yes! Trees. Gardner says it’s typical for tree service companies to be booked out for about a month.
