The way Peter says we need you to defeat the observers is the writer's way of showing his gradual transformation into the man walter describes, using someone for what you need.

This is such a beautiful scene. And the last 15 seconds of it is just...holy crap.
Unless it was said off-screen Walter never told Peter and Olivia the details of how Cecil got trapped in that universe...which means that Peter just read him.

Anybody else notice how Peter talked about Cecil and the light bomb, I don't recall Cecil or Walter mentioning that to him. I love how peters observer abilities are slowly surfacing instead of being so on your face. It's much more realistic.

I think Peter will be the one to ultimately get rid of the tech he put into himself, not Walter or Olivia. I think his bond with the two of them will help push Peter back in the right direction but it seems to me that they're setting it up so that in the end Peter needs to decide for himself what kind of man he wants to be. Kind of echoing this conversation he has with Walter.

It's Fringe. Olivia's been shot in the head ... twice now. They'll figure out something.

Does anyone else hear Peter say "I won't, Dad" at 3:44?

@@TheLighthouse1983 I love Fringe. I cried like a baby the first time I finished watching it, and I've rewatched it once. I love the (few) moments when Peter calls Walter Dad.

@@BeingBetter I know what you mean, I finished it for the first time about a month ago and I still cry every time I even think about the finale and yet I can't let them go 😢 I think they became my favourite father and son on TV

I don't think she can save him, even if she wants to. Look what happen to the Observer when Peter took the tech out of him. The Observer died.

I mean if Peter is the one to put it in, HE should be the one to take it out not Olivia.

Do you realize how BORING that would be? I want PETER himself to decide to take the stuff out. I want Peter to save himself for once. Olivia can help him do it but I am sick of her getting all the credit. I mean why is Olivia the one to save herself but Peter can't?
