    Tail tidy looks fab, am with you on the indicators, TEC should have them fit straight on without drilling but they do look great!

      I did actually get a call from TEC after this went out, it seems I missed the adapters in the kit that are needed to fit the indicators! so I didn't need to drill them after all 🤣

    Awesome work mate, really helpful guide here, it amazes me how you can transform your bike for so little these days 🙂

      Yes it's true, even quality stuff from TEC doesn't cost a fortune, and it's a far better idea to get stuff from companies such as TEC than throw your cash away on cheap Chinese garbage 😁

    with the benefit of hindsight the x pipe good original silencers better tail tidy not so sure i use the grab rail to lift / steady my T120 onto the center stand mine came with led indicators and i think they are good one thing you didn't suggest was a fender extender to keep the crud of the bike

    • @Budget-Cars-And-Bikes
      @Budget-Cars-And-Bikes  Рік тому +1

      Agree regarding the help the grab rail is for lifting onto the centre stand, kind of tough without it, but manageable. Fender extender is a good move, but got the sump guard fitting coming up, and with the radiator guard I don't think it needs the extender too? Thanks for commenting, and sorry for the late response :)

    Hi there, I bought this tail tidy for my 2017 T100.
    Did you have any problems with your number plate contacting the rear tyre going over bumps etc??
    Curious to know your thoughts..... thanks 👍

      I returned mine.
      Two up, the number plate rubbed on the back wheel.
      The ‘Lucas tail light’ was not bright at all (also the brake light!!) I was astonished at the improvement when I re installed the original!!
      I was concerned about the possibility of being rear ended in less that perfect visibility (this alone was enough to return the kit).
      I also found that the bullet indicators were not bright enough either - especially at the front when competing with the headlight.
      All this is just down to cheap/poor components and design.
      I would expect the more expensive Motone tail light and indicators to be of much higher quality (but of course they are 3 times the price!)

    hi how did you get broken bolts out regards

    • @Budget-Cars-And-Bikes
      @Budget-Cars-And-Bikes  Рік тому +1

      Hi Glyn, I was lucky in that it was the bolt head that broke off, meaning the mudguard just fell out anyway, but the bolt was stuck inside the hole of the mudguard, not the bike frame it bolts into. I would have just drilled it out if I had needed too 😉
