Boston shot 0 for 10 from threes to start the game and finished 9-42 from threes for the game. At some point in a situation like this when the team is not shooting well from distance, the coach needs to make adjustments for players to penetrate, shoot midrange jumpers, layups. Sure the players are the one playing the game, but the only reason to even have a coach at the bench during the game is for situations like this.
It’s insane.. even Miami who shot 50% from 3 took only 28 3s. Boston’s shot selection is absolutely crazy, that’s fully on the coaching staff and this explains the huge volatility in their offense game by game
Game has become a 3 point contest. Watching the game it was like guys forgot how to play inside the paint. Dropping passes, missing layups. Analytics has completely ruined the game of professional basketball.
And this is why Joe Mazzulla is completely over his skis. He allowed this game to get completely out of hand in the first half without even lifting a finger.
When Brown and Tatum attack the paint instead of jacking up threes there hard team to beat. Combined they have shot atrocious from the 3pt line. The heat plays small ball lineup. And the only standout defensive player is Bam. There now way with Brown and Tatum on the court they can’t find a matchup to exploit. With Brown being eligible for the Supermax it’s time to ship him out.

I'm gonna love this finals, not 2 super teams competing to see who's the better dynasty. but 2 under-dogs with insane stories and journeys as battle scars. However, when it's all said in done, I got the Nuggs in 5-6. Why would ANYONE care what Perk says after he has been wrong way more often than not the entire playoffs, not to mention regular season? Flip a coin and you will be right three times as often.
I hate it when guys like Tatum don’t get to play at full strength because of injury. He’s everything that’s great about the nba. Superstar player, shows up and plays every night, gets better every single year, is an absolute role model and family man off the court, one of the nicest guys on the court. I wanted the Celtics to win, but even if they lost I’d have liked to see it with Tatum at full strength. He was so hurt he only took 13 shots in an elimination game:

How are the Nuggets too young? Nuggets have players in their prime with playoff experience. Miami may have Finals experience, but they're going to have to outplay Denver with a healthy Jamal Murray that is playing the best in his career. I don't have a favorite between the two. Both are exciting teams to watch. I want Jokic or Jimmy to win.

Your asking buckets to average a triple double with 30 points, your asking Bam to average 20/10 a night. Lowery 15-20 a night then the others to drop 50 a night. Plus Denver is so much bigger and deeper. Miami will have no answer for Joker. The only way I see Miami winning (barring injury) they will have to go small ball (GSW death squad style) and hope and pray. By the way, Butler was the main culprit why the Heat lost game 6.He stood on the perimeter watching the perimeter shot go up, assuming that it was the final shot of the game, instead of running in the paint to help Bam box out. His blunder allowed inbound passer, Derrick White to sneak in the paint for the tip in at the buzzer, giving the SEPTICS the win. Moreover Butler and Bam combined to shoot 9 for 37 in game 6,and had a combined 35 points.
