I grew up in a church like this. I miss it. I think its beautiful how they praise the lord. Its never boring like a lot of churches are. Some people look down on it. Say its a cult . Its not. When the Holy Ghost gets you you cant control it . Dancing shouting I love it.
Any religious ceremony can seem "cult-ish," if you're not familiar with or used to it. Just depends on how one was raised. Just different ways of communal praying, each ultimately with the same intent.

I remember when I was 7 years old and dancing in church. Just doing what I had seen my Mom and Dad doing. We were strict Pentecostal from birth. One day my Mom told me to sit down cause I started doing something else I saw them doing....speaking in tongues. So that was the end of my shouting until I came into the true knowledge of the Holy Spirit and who I am in the Lord. I'm 71 now and when the Spirit moves I will pick embryo and put them down. Let her dance before the Lord. The bible says let everything that has breath praise the lord. I've seen kids that age doing other things. Leave her alone...

Daddy's Mama,s grandma's and grandpa's daughters sons grandchildren dance in the holy ghost before God. Praise his holy name from generation to generation. I was blessed today Sunday to go to my first cousin church he is a pastor there. I em happy to see half of my family given the praise and Glory to God. Still praising him today 2019 and still will be praising God in 2020. Happy new year every one.
When I was very young a very seasoned gifted church mother told me when you can truly praise God you don't have to pray as much. Your prayer is in your praise.
its funny how people judge the way to praise God. Nobody says anything if you clap your hands or wave them in adoration but when it comes to dancing people cant stand it. David danced until his clothes came off..people dance in clubs to show how they feel about a song or to make them just feel better..why can't I dance for the Lord? I love the Lord and sometimes I'm. filled with so much joy I just dance and i love it! I will dance clap sing whatever I want because its for him not for people.

And I can test to that when I was in the work I danced for the devil but since god saved and delivered me honey I pick em up and put em down!!! I even take off in a run!!!
Tammyluvslye: Yeah, but you are dancing to a repetitive rythm coming from Outside yourself. I thought the "holy spirit" was supposed to motivate from Within. I'm sure you have a good time stomping around, getting exercise, working your body to get that stress off you, & then when this night is over, you go home with your body flooded with "Feel Good" chemicals coming from your brain, called endorphins. All athletes & people who go dancing at clubs, go cycling, jogging, etc. feel so good when thet get done because of the chemicals & giving their body a good workout. They "play" repetitive beats that they increase in speed as time goes by, to give everybody a good workout, then everybody goes home, pretty free of stress...for a while. Any strenuous exercise will do the same. I love to dance, & used to dance all night. It is almost as if these people in the church are ashamed to just dance anywhere when they want to. I noticed all the females have to wear long skirts, especially the real heavy females, because they are ashamed of their real heavy legs, & large derriers. I don't think religion should be used to hide heavy thighs & feel-good dancing. Perhaps that church frowns on physical pleasure for its own sake, like the physical body is a shameful thing. I think they allow people work their bodies & claim they can only do it for the "holy ghost," in order to make physical pleasure seem acceptable, but only under that restriction. I am looking at it from a psychological standpoint. I have never seen any evidence that frenzied stomping movements, "holy rolling," or whirling dervishes in greece, are any better people because of all that. Otherwise, what use is it? That is a legitimate question.

You don't have to feel nothing to praise him in the dance you can just think about something he has done for you and began to praise him. The Holy Ghost do come over some that causes them to dance but some can just think of his goodness and all he's done and began to dance, dance, dance, all night.

It's good to see children in church praising God. When the young lady with the red blouse came up and danced the Spirit of God spoke to me and said that's going to be your daughter coming back to the Lord praising me in church. That's why we cannot judge how Believers praise Him because while some are judging how they are worshipping God is speaking to someone like me that longs for her lost children to just be in church...BTW when I opened the video I could feel the presence of God already.... don't know who's church this is but God dwells there.

There are so many ways to praise. All those who like to dance always feel that is the right way to praise. There's no need to dance and act this way in order to show what God has done for you. God gave me my dignity

I miss this so much! People and media exploit this so much for their own reasons, but don't get the whole picture. These services aren't just about dancing...the preaching comes from the Word and the dancing comes from the spirit. We don't have this here, but it's refreshing to watch it online. You choose to sin yes, but you WILL always sin. its a fact. But because of repentance, we can ask God for forgiveness and be forgiven. He knows our hearts and He knows if we are truly trying our best to do what is right. But the only one to go without sin ever and forever is Gods son Jesus Christ.
i don't like to write a lot. so I'm ending my comments here. its really late. i should have been knocked out by now. but this is how i see it. I believe god can wipe away our sin. we agree on that part. but realizing that you are not perfect and that you will mess up is a burden lifted off on you. no one can relate to jesus and never will be as close to being perfect and without sin. we all make mistakes. BUT. sometimes there are mistakes. in simple terms it is impossible to live a life without sin. we were born sinners. but after receiving jesus christ, we don't have to die sinners. it does not mean we won't ever mess up again after receiving jesus, because we will. thats fact. but having the holy spirit (conscience) to lead us to becoming a better follower of jesus helps us to stay away from sinful nature. also there are times where a sin is so strong that you keep repeating it over and over again. does not mean that you don't believe god could break you from that captivity. its just a powerful sin that has a hold of you. and continuously praying and seeking god for help can help you wash away that sin. i think i get what your saying. but in simple terms. very simple terms. we all fall short. but through jesus christ we have already been forgiving. and yes, i already knew those versus.
My Dad used to take me to a church similar to this. I miss it very much!! 🥺💔 Now, many churches are too “churchy” to do such things😔... and many churches ⛪️ are running with many Jezebel Spirits and the Spirit of Religion. Many Christians have forgotten the meaning of CHURCH. The building isn’t the body of Christ, we the Believers are the body of Christ. Church is meant to fellowship and praise the good Lord together. When the Spirit fall on some people you do not run to the front of the church and begin to dance! You began dance Where You!! Are. In this Church of God In (Christ) You do not see too many people that have the same Holy Ghost Dance.
I can see where people are coming from with the negative comments, when you praise God there should never be a 1 , 2 ,3 praise him why exactly are you counting down. And the child in the white she praised him and ran back to her seat and sat down immediately it just looks really suspicious. But everyone praises him differently and those who decide to pretend will face God at the gates of Heaven but whatever they are doing at this church is their business. I wouldn't mind stopping by and giving God the Glory.
@Lani H, there's no set way to Praise God, you can count to 1000 that won't matter to Him! He said in His Word that everything that hath breath should praise Him. You're right however a person sees fit to get their praise on that's all that should matter. There are so many "negative comments" because ppl want to get their praise on but are afraid, so they criticise the bold ones. We encourage folks to come out of their shell, stop complaining and do the same. Should the little girl have waited for a horse to come ride her back to her seat?

I think there’s a difference between judging and correcting. The Holy Spirit will let them know if their praise is in vain. As believers all we need to do is pray for one another, pray that everyone will be able to experience the glory of God genuinely and not “playing church”. “There’s a way which seemeth right unto man but the end thereof is death” - proverbs 14:12 Our praise should glorify God even without instruments. We don’t need instruments to spark a move of the Holy Spirit . Music is fine but Let’s also be mindful that the manipulative use of music can have us thinking we caught the Holy Ghost & we didn’t and in some cases maybe we did. Either way His Holy Spirit will move so mightily that we won’t be able to contain our praise. Let’s not get caught up playing church. God bless

When the spirit comes into a place, there's no pushing, pumping or counting to regulate when to praise Him etc. This was a show and I wont go as far to say that they're deliberately making a mockery of God and His Word however, we perish for lack of knowledge ... ANYONE MCing a service needs to know their word ... THIS spectacle was not of God, not that it wasn't real for some, but the spirit of discernment tells me it was not real for most.

The most importantly thing, I think, in distinguishing if this is real or fake, is if they dance to secular music as well. You can't dance to worldly music and church music as well. God says, or you worship the world of me, but you can't worship both. I'm a firm believer that if you can allow this while also dancing in such a perhaps, similar manner, it isn't the spirit that moves you, but rather, your own sensuality. (sensuality: the enjoyment, expression, or pursuit, of something physical). my pastor always tells us to be very very careful with sensuality because if we're not living right outside of church, and we act holy in church, it's not the spirit, but our own desire to hope we're serving God right. how do you dress outside vs inside church? how do you speak to others outside vs in church? what do you watch? what do you do? is your focus on work and money or God? etc. but first and foremost we are called to holiness, for God is holy, and without sanctity, no one will see God.

When I was her age we were taught not to play when it comes to the Holy Spirit. The child mocked whatever she saw and the church was "playing church". If she truly was in the spirit she wouldn't have just "ran" back to her seat because she would not BE ABLE TO SHAKE IT LOOSE THAT QUICKLY. If the spirit was there we would have all felt it through this video! I pray that this church truly receives healing! We as the body of Christ should pray for them! Nothing is more humbling than seeing a post from 8 years ago! Sheesh! I have grown a lot since then and I understand how my comment could have definitely offended a few of you, and for that, I really do apologize. As stated before when it comes to how I grew up in the church, we were always taught to not move unless we were prompted by the Holy Spirit to do so, but I also know NOW that dancing before the Lord is an emotional response AND spirit led. I cannot judge her heart, nor was I judging her heart. Now with having my own son, I see that they follow our lead in how we worship and praise. I have been at too many churches where people are playing, and they get caught up in the emotion. Why is everyone in this video doing the same dance. If you have ever been under the influence of the Holy Spirit you can not just stop. Children are good imitators. They need to be taught to reverence The Holy Spirit not to mock Him.
Ridiculous, just simply ridiculous! It appeared to me the child is being raised, and trained up in the way she should go. It’s evident she comes from a home where praise is the norm, as should be. Perhaps, she lives with her grandmother, evidenced by her clothing. Maybe, she’s an USHER, and took a lil time out of her assignment to just give the LORD some praise. Have you never seen an USHER, just break, and give God some praise, then quickly compose, and still take the gum? I didn’t see mock, which means-to tease or laugh at in a scornful or contemptuous manner, I saw, imitate, which means-take or follow as a model, copy(a person’s speech or mannerisms) Paul in the book of Ephesians, calls on the children of GOD to be imitators of Christ. Ephesians Chapter 5, Verse 1 and 2((KJV), puts it this way. “Be followers of God.” The word “followers” means to mimic” to be an “imitator.”This is a command for the people of God to imitate GOD! (The LEAF Chronically June 2014)
True true. If y'all want to call this a praise break and dancing for the Lord, fine. Do NOT however say that these people are under the influence of the Holy Spirit. If you're doing the same exact dance moves you're making at home on Wednesday afternoon while doing your laundry, you're just imitating a dance movement. Thank God for Maturity for me...before I used to shake my head looking @ folks for dancing/shouting. But it we can dance for The Devil & don't have to get pumped up, we should dance for God, & not get pumped up! There comes a time we should remember Jesus was beaten for Sin, & he Loves us & the devil despises us. So praise him cause you choose to & you still can, Amen!

Why are people saying such negative things? Maybe she had something good on her mind that God had done for her throughout the week or something. Its not right to judge somebody and you don't know what they have been through. Never do I count before shouting and at my church we don't have a shouting spot where we pass the mic or everybody come to one location to get a shout in and run back to our seats. Not saying they all are fake but I'm just wondering how they holy ghost works.
I grew up in a church like this. I miss it. I think its beautiful how they praise the lord. Its never boring like a lot of churches are. Some people look down on it. Say its a cult . Its not. When the Holy Ghost gets you you cant control it . Dancing shouting I love it.

I remember when I was 7 years old and dancing in church. Just doing what I had seen my Mom and Dad doing. We were strict Pentecostal from birth. One day my Mom told me to sit down cause I started doing something else I saw them doing....speaking in tongues. So that was the end of my shouting until I came into the true knowledge of the Holy Spirit and who I am in the Lord. I'm 71 now and when the Spirit moves I will pick embryo and put them down. Let her dance before the Lord. The bible says let everything that has breath praise the lord. I've seen kids that age doing other things. Leave her alone...

I was blessed today Sunday to go to my first cousin church he is a pastor there. I em happy to see half of my family given the praise and Glory to God. its funny how people judge the way to praise God. Nobody says anything if you clap your hands or wave them in adoration but when it comes to dancing people cant stand it. David danced until his clothes came off..people dance in clubs to show how they feel about a song or to make them just feel better..why can't I dance for the Lord? I'm sure you have a good time stomping around, getting exercise, working your body to get that stress off you, & then when this night is over, you go home with your body flooded with "Feel Good" chemicals coming from your brain, called endorphins.
All athletes & people who go dancing at clubs, go cycling, jogging, etc. feel so good when thet get done because of the chemicals & giving their body a good workout.
They "play" repetitive beats that they increase in speed as time goes by, to give everybody a good workout, then everybody goes home, pretty free of stress...for a while.
Any strenuous exercise will do the same.
I love to dance, & used to dance all night.
It is almost as if these people in the church are ashamed to just dance anywhere when they want to. I noticed all the females have to wear long skirts, especially the real heavy females, because they are ashamed of their real heavy legs, & large derriers.
I don't think religion should be used to hide heavy thighs & feel-good dancing. Perhaps that church frowns on physical pleasure for its own sake, like the physical body is a shameful thing.
I think they allow people work their bodies & claim they can only do it for the "holy ghost," in order to make physical pleasure seem acceptable, but only under that restriction.
I am looking at it from a psychological standpoint.
I have never seen any evidence that frenzied stomping movements, "holy rolling," or whirling dervishes in greece, are any better people because of all that. Otherwise, what use is it? That is a legitimate question.

It's good to see children in church praising God. When the young lady with the red blouse came up and danced the Spirit of God spoke to me and said that's going to be your daughter coming back to the Lord praising me in church. That's why we cannot judge how Believers praise Him because while some are judging how they are worshipping God is speaking to someone like me that longs for her lost children to just be in church...BTW when I opened the video I could feel the presence of God already.... don't know who's church this is but God dwells there.

i don't like to write a lot. so I'm ending my comments here. its really late. i should have been knocked out by now. but this is how i see it. I believe god can wipe away our sin. we agree on that part. but realizing that you are not perfect and that you will mess up is a burden lifted off on you. no one can relate to jesus and never will be as close to being perfect and without sin. we all make mistakes. BUT. sometimes there are mistakes. in simple terms it is impossible to live a life without sin. we were born sinners. but after receiving jesus christ, we don't have to die sinners. it does not mean we won't ever mess up again after receiving jesus, because we will. thats fact. but having the holy spirit (conscience) to lead us to becoming a better follower of jesus helps us to stay away from sinful nature.
also there are times where a sin is so strong that you keep repeating it over and over again. does not mean that you don't believe god could break you from that captivity. its just a powerful sin that has a hold of you. and continuously praying and seeking god for help can help you wash away that sin. i think i get what your saying. but in simple terms. very simple terms. we all fall short. but through jesus christ we have already been forgiving.

To each it's own. The bible doesn't stipulate how, when, or where, it clearly says to Praise Him in the Dance, so that's what we do!!!
I can see where people are coming from with the negative comments, when you praise God there should never be a 1 , 2 ,3 praise him why exactly are you counting down. And the child in the white she praised him and ran back to her seat and sat down immediately it just looks really suspicious. But everyone praises him differently and those who decide to pretend will face God at the gates of Heaven but whatever they are doing at this church is their business. I wouldn't mind stopping by and giving God the Glory.
@Lani H, there's no set way to Praise God, you can count to 1000 that won't matter to Him! He said in His Word that everything that hath breath should praise Him. You're right however a person sees fit to get their praise on that's all that should matter. There are so many "negative comments" because ppl want to get their praise on but are afraid, so they criticise the bold ones. We encourage folks to come out of their shell, stop complaining and do the same. Should the little girl have waited for a horse to come ride her back to her seat?

I think there’s a difference between judging and correcting. The Holy Spirit will let them know if their praise is in vain. As believers all we need to do is pray for one another, pray that everyone will be able to experience the glory of God genuinely and not “playing church”.

Our praise should glorify God even without instruments. We don’t need instruments to spark a move of the Holy Spirit . Music is fine but Let’s also be mindful that the manipulative use of music can have us thinking we caught the Holy Ghost & we didn’t and in some cases maybe we did. Either way His Holy Spirit will move so mightily that we won’t be able to contain our praise. Let’s not get caught up playing church.

When the spirit comes into a place, there's no pushing, pumping or counting to regulate when to praise Him etc. This was a show and I wont go as far to say that they're deliberately making a mockery of God and His Word however, we perish for lack of knowledge ... ANYONE MCing a service needs to know their word ... THIS spectacle was not of God, not that it wasn't real for some, but the spirit of discernment tells me it was not real for most.

The most importantly thing, I think, in distinguishing if this is real or fake, is if they dance to secular music as well. You can't dance to worldly music and church music as well. God says, or you worship the world of me, but you can't worship both. I'm a firm believer that if you can allow this while also dancing in such a perhaps, similar manner, it isn't the spirit that moves you, but rather, your own sensuality. (sensuality: the enjoyment, expression, or pursuit, of something physical). my pastor always tells us to be very very careful with sensuality because if we're not living right outside of church, and we act holy in church, it's not the spirit, but our own desire to hope we're serving God right. how do you dress outside vs inside church? how do you speak to others outside vs in church? what do you watch? what do you do? is your focus on work and money or God? etc. but first and foremost we are called to holiness, for God is holy, and without sanctity, no one will see God.

When I was her age we were taught not to play when it comes to the Holy Spirit. The child mocked whatever she saw and the church was "playing church". If she truly was in the spirit she wouldn't have just "ran" back to her seat because she would not BE ABLE TO SHAKE IT LOOSE THAT QUICKLY. If the spirit was there we would have all felt it through this video! I pray that this church truly receives healing! We as the body of Christ should pray for them!
Nothing is more humbling than seeing a post from 8 years ago! Sheesh! I have grown a lot since then and I understand how my comment could have definitely offended a few of you, and for that, I really do apologize. As stated before when it comes to how I grew up in the church, we were always taught to not move unless we were prompted by the Holy Spirit to do so, but I also know NOW that dancing before the Lord is an emotional response AND spirit led. I cannot judge her heart, nor was I judging her heart. Now with having my own son, I see that they follow our lead in how we worship and praise. I have been at too many churches where people are playing, and they get caught up in the emotion. Why is everyone in this video doing the same dance. If you have ever been under the influence of the Holy Spirit you can not just stop. Children are good imitators. They need to be taught to reverence The Holy Spirit not to mock Him.
Ridiculous, just simply ridiculous! It appeared to me the child is being raised, and trained up in the way she should go. It’s evident she comes from a home where praise is the norm, as should be. Perhaps, she lives with her grandmother, evidenced by her clothing. Maybe, she’s an USHER, and took a lil time out of her assignment to just give the LORD some praise. Have you never seen an USHER, just break, and give God some praise, then quickly compose, and still take the gum? I didn’t see mock, which means-to tease or laugh at in a scornful or contemptuous manner, I saw, imitate, which means-take or follow as a model, copy(a person’s speech or mannerisms) Paul in the book of Ephesians, calls on the children of GOD to be imitators of Christ. Ephesians Chapter 5, Verse 1 and 2((KJV), puts it this way. “Be followers of God.” The word “followers” means to mimic” to be an “imitator.”This is a command for the people of God to imitate GOD! (The LEAF Chronically June 2014)

Judging someone is Gods responsibility. How do you know what's in her heart. You are one of those HOLY than thou... you will be judged the same way you judge others. It's in the bible...look it up.

How are they playing with God? God inhabits the praises of his people. Those children could be listening to music encouraging them to twerk but instead they are in church talking about the goodness of God.

Thank God for Maturity for me...before I used to shake my head looking @ folks for dancing/shouting. But it we can dance for The Devil & don't have to get pumped up, we should dance for God, & not get pumped up! There comes a time we should remember Jesus was beaten for Sin, & he Loves us & the devil despises us. So praise him cause you choose to & you still can, Amen!

Why are people saying such negative things? Maybe she had something good on her mind that God had done for her throughout the week or something. Its not right to judge somebody and you don't know what they have been through. If she was in the club bumpin and grindin ya'll would say "She need to go to church" and since she IS in church ya'll still got a problem... SMH

I'm all for shouting been in Church all my life but really... Never do I count before shouting and at my church we don't have a shouting spot where we pass the mic or everybody come to one location to get a shout in and run back to our seats.
