Ive been using Gapso and Julliene as my first two picks as a slow turn two. I have karnal, Sagar, Haegang, Nana who I add in there. If I need more damage I always pick my Mo Long, or Leo. Dream is always Gapso, Nana, Jullienne as they can be nasty survive with damage from Jullienne. If I need some control I add in my slow Oliver who I picked up recently with max res and accuracy. I need to continue grinding runes as I recently finished all my dungeon teams. But I feel Im finally starting to get better at RTA and learning who to pick when. Its funny because I feel Ive been blessed with some of the best turn 2 units. I have an anavel, feng yen, molly, josephine and more that I could easily add in there. However I feel that my core has been super strong.

i've played and farmed runes almost nonstop since game release except for a year vacation from the game. never played RTA. been thinking about starting.
the best advice i got was figure out your core 3 then figure out the last two picks. Play with those for a bit and slowly add in other monsters that you need to cover areas that your core team doesnt
I also run bastet, but as first pick. Bastet, seara, jamire, giana, masha (or taor). But will pivot to turn 2 with bastet, karnal, Abellio, Byungchul, trasar
@Out_of_Dark I mean oberon and vibachel are worth the gamble and blaming com2us for loosing when playing with. I wish I could blame them for my losses when I try to run Jackson but unfortunately he's just a lil crap
I have light polar queen and i basically try to Spam her and Wind robo cuz that combo is stupidly strong. I wish i had dark robo too then i would be incredibly busted.
I wish I could trade monsters because I have a dark robo just wasting space as I don’t play for speed teams. Would love to trade for like a kinki or a gio
That's the best rta advice video ever, really good job !! I play with a Vanessa Chakra team and it is pretty fun if you want to give it a try (GutsTHEBERSERK used a similar team in SL, i litteraly copie him haha)
For anyone like punisher range if u have good despair runes and cracka + light robo run this comp. Hae first pick cracka robo follow and 2 defense break or pivot basically a cleave team that has cc and if u don’t get reset basically nothing can stop the double robo
I've been playing Seara, Haegang, Vivachel core and so far has been pretty darn good. And by good I meant it as being able to withstand familiar G1-G2 player we all used to see in replays. Yep, that's my current standard coming from a P1 player lol Granted, it's just the start of the season and I'm pretty sure I'll be going down back to P3 or P2 as usual but at least I gain a lot of experience at this level rn. And yeah, just prepare to lose helluva lot.
I have all those units, what's your follow up pick? is viva on swift or vio? I feel I lacked dmg a lot when picking Viva with a lot of support mons like Hae or Sagar + Chandra
@ conditional counterpick mostly Leo to slow things down, Shizuka-Federica the two-monster combo, Mei Hou Wang always viable, Josephine for Giana users, etc. You’d want Seara to pass the ban as much as possible as she would be the main DD. I ran vio Vivachel so far. Many said swift is better but I just don’t think I have the sets to run that comp haha

Ive been climbing this season pretty easily and it being my first time hard grinding rta. Im not going to lie but it seems you got too much going on. Unless you got crazy runes I would build one core team and 4-5 mons to pick around so that you can give them the best runes you have. I used to have multiple teams I loved to play with but have since moved to 1 team and slowly been building out picks around them.
I always wanted to play a fast kinda team (snipe, fast cc, cleave, you name it), so naturally I got Julianne, Seimei, Craka, TL and Akroma (dont get me wrong, these are really good). My best team is some sort of t2 style, but I am so bad at it :D Before the Chandra s1 auto-crit buff, I managed to reach g1 (and hold it), but ever since I already struggle in c3 :(
Have you tried Vanessa/water twin angels + Julianne/akroma into eshir + counterpicks? Just boost and go first, snipe out the threat then wait a turn for Julianne to do it again
Haha that is so funny because I also got Julianne and have fully embraced turn 2 with him and Gapsoo as my first two picks. I really enjoy the strategy of maneuvering teams that look to beat you with speed. However whenever I played card games like Magic The Gathering or Hearthstone I loved slow decks that look to out grind value so I guess that is just me.😊

Hi, I'm trying to build a fun LD team, Im at c1 but stagnant. I use Leah/zerath, Gemini, dark robo, dark assassin, and dark monkey king. The main comp is dark monkey, robo, and dark assassin. I use zebala, seara, heagang, Shizuka. I just can't find success with any so I go for cleave. I have decent runes. Especially SPD, many 25-30 SPD vio, swift, and will. I also have most normal nat 5s
Well, simply put I need help with it all around, I'm sure there is something on my account worth using rune wise but I don't have a clue. After watching my last 10 replays, It's like I tickle my opponents with a feather compared to how hard they hit my units.
The other day I got so angry with RTA that I very possibly could have had an aneurysm, and it had a cooling effect that made me totally numb to the game making it much easier to play
90% of your core teams I have 2/3 of... Only off meta do I have. Which I have been using. I live in giants and my best swift set is +204 but it's off will. Fastest swift will for Tiana is +187. I guess on 2-3 more years of giants I will reach +188. Every earned rune from events goes to will. My giants, dragon and r5 are sub 30 sec. So I stay there. I reach c1 but I only played like 60 matches last season. It gets too stressed for me at times because I know I'm slower than most f3
400 days FTP account with no LD5 staying in p3 right now(rank 4000), also got p1 at the end of the last season. The fastest vio set I have is only +170 speed, so i decide to run a slow team with first pick fire ark angel and Gapsoo provide almost everything I need to survive and deal damage. If I can get a fire monkey or Smicer then I will try to finish in p3 this season.
@maninvisible7466 I just finished p1 in the last season very easily with rank 8000 and 55.1 win rate. I don't think there's a chance for me to drop to c3.
@@kenteapw6993 Basically I only go for turn 2, so my option is to use the units that doesn't die easily, like water Vallkery, and water Dragon knight are good choices because of hight damage and self healing. I also use Karnal a lot, good tank, good damage, good leader skill for a turn 2 team. Talking to my banning strategy. I highly recommend to ban the healer or units provide immunity because turn 2 team usually don't have high damage. If they don't pick any healer of buffer then try to ban one of the damage dealer like Miles(because my team usually have many water and fire units, and I don't use Leo a lot) or Marsha(weird vio rate procs all the time , self immunity, deffence break). In conclusion, as a turn 2 player, I think the most important stuff is the slow debuff and immunity to stay alive. No need to care about controlling the opponent. Here are the units I pick a lot Fire: Karnal, ark angel Water: Indra Valkery, Dragon knight Druid. Wind: I don't use any wind units because I'm missing a lot of wind meta units
