It gotta be on a USB stick then, no way it would go through GMail without Google checking it for a virus and exploding that server, or checking other stuff
Fun fact: It takes less processing power than MS telemetrics to detect decompression bomb and it can be done with MS libraries, but as of 2024, MS Windows still lacks zip bomb protection.
@@RT-qd8yl From my point of view: Win is OS. OS should not allow invalid operation in the first place. And in case of invalid operation getting through, it shouldnt stop working. Win will attempt to unzip it and furthermore chance is it will stop working as it needs some free disk space to function itself. Therefore the feature needs to be either finished or cut, otherwise its a real security risk.

They're not going to implement something if it doesn't somehow make them money, regardless of usability of the product. That's a secondary consideration. The majority of the world uses Windows no matter what, and MS knows that. So there's no incentive to improve until there's any form of real competitor. i agree also the adreniline rush you get from walking up to a teachers computer and manually transferring a USB zipbomb is amazing
There’s other programs and sites schools can use though that Google won’t do that with.
You can password protect it the Zip and give teacher the password
If the file is larger than like 5gb, it won't bother checking. It gives the downloader a warning that it hasn't been verified by Google.

It doesn't make them any extra money to protect against it compared to not protecting against it, so there's no legitimate reason to do so
