Thank you for the English message! I attended their concert in Mexico City in 2018 and it was amazing 💕 I had planned to visit Japan in April 2020 for a live in Kyoto, but couldn’t due to COVID-19. Watching the streaming lives has cheered me up!
Their management has no idea what their doing. The short music videos, only two albums on spotify, and for various other reasons I hope they ditch their current management and get with people who know what they're doing. There's no reason a band that's played Budokan several times should be getting only thousands of views on their music videos. プラのマネージメントは何をしているのか見当もつかない。短いPV、Spotifyでのアルバム2枚のみ、そして他の様々な理由から、プラが現在のマネージメントを捨てて、何をしているかを知っている人たちと一緒になることを願っています。武道館で何度か演奏しているバンドがPVの再生回数が数千回しかないなんてありえない。
always feels strange to me too, because plastic tree doesn’t promote itself better to the rest of the world as a band like Dir en gray or Gazette, Plastic tree has a huge potential worldwide because of how unique they sound like. with all elements of Shoegaze, Post rock, alternative and etc, western inspirations and its touch of oriental composition. Management really should promote them better.
the fact they only had 2 available albums on spotify at one point is absurd lol... there's more now but now they are gaining more traction from western audience slowly and it seems a bit hard to even find stuff about them for anyone outside of japanese audience which idk if its because there management is that bad and don't promote them properly or care too to cater to anyone outside of there current fanbase. i want to support them and buy stuff from them but its so hard to get anyone to ship here lol
