I remember this back in the day. I was soooooo mad at the POS "guards" that had obviously been bought off. I was a cop back in the 80s and Miami Vice was a guilty pleasure of mine. Watching this again the old anger popped up again. Sheesh! How we get so emotionally involved in this kind of fiction is really bizarre.
Miami nights as a kid I’d be glue to the tv watching this show, cops, women, cars, & villains in sunny Miami, what’s not to love, be cool if the original cast came back with a whole new series. I’ve started on the first season. And loving every minute of it 30years later.
Unfortunately this is one of those episodes where the bad guy wins and gets away with it. Maybe you should follow up these videos with Blood & Roses, the follow up episode where the villian gets his just desserts.
What are you on about The undercover cop 👤 there in jail cell Are you mickey ? = classic stalking behaviour regardless of whether it's so called legal use It's still stalking behaviour plus antics already mentioned somewhat Including more
In the last scene of the final episode, Sonny Crockett is seen wearing a University of Kansas Jayhawk t-shirt. Don Johnson was a student at the University of Kansas.
My dad use to work the jailhouse in Miami in the late 60’s and got hired by NMB. I don’t think anything like this went on well maybe I should ask him 😂
Don't know about back then, but I can assure you, it does now. Inmates absolutely hate snitches. My ex-husband was was a corrections officer in 3 different prisons. Two maximum security, and one supermax...
Louis Theroux (BBC interviewer) did an episode on a 'miami mega jail' , available on UA-cam, you'll hear few times inmates talk about what they do to snitches , excellent episode.
Unbelievable how Miami Vice only lasted 5 short seasons, in complete contrast to the cheap, toxic, cancerous reality TV shows like SURVIVOR and BIG BROTHER (I'm looking at you CBS) which have infested television for the last 20 consecutive years now. SMH
The creators, writers, actors, director, etc. in Miami Vice had actual talent, and were expensive. Snooki's on the other hand, are probably very cheap. Also, less is more. 5 great years better than 20 mediocre ones.
@@tranzco1173 Snooki's LOL! No doubt hiring a plastic orange traffic pylon is definitely way cheaper than hiring real superstar actors like Don Johnson. Each episode of Miami Vice was so expensive to make back then, you had the writers, big name actors and celebrity guests, the original music song copyrights, the elaborate settings and props, etc. Reality shows have way lower production costs with a stationary cheap fixed set, no writers, no actors, no special effects, NOTHING. Reality tv is the junk food of television: cheap, lacking any substance, and addictive.
@@OVI-Wan-Kenobi-8 Orange traffic Pylon🤣 It's fast food I wouldn't eat🤮 How can people get excited watching that shit? But in high school back then on Friday night we'd wait for the 3 minute intro and the most bitchen title sequence ever on TV
Crockett: JACK!! Castiel: JACK!! Humorously enough, I once said if I trusted anyone else to play Crockett, it'd be Misha Collins. He put a lot of raw emotion into Castiel like Don did Crockett, and it's just brilliant. Castiel's trademark look is also like that of a classic TV detective 😉
@Austin Oetken~ I know you have Seasons 1&2, but check Amazon. You can get the whole series for $24.00 today. You can get some of the other Seasons, but they cost as much or more than the series.

well most of them are in their 70's so that's not done but maybe in the reboot they can ask the original tubbs & crockett for a cameo.
Oh Crockett... We ❤️Miami Vice❤️🇬🇷
Jack Rivers got the Jeffrey Epstein treatment
What lousy prison security. I wonder if the corrections officer knew ahead of time, and "got paid" to let it happen?
It wouldn't take much for the Mob to buy off a couple of prison guards.
@@OVI-Wan-Kenobi-8 ~ I'm aware of that. That's my question though, was the officer in on it?
@@Deborahtunes you have to ask?

That prison guard got fired by Metro-Dade and he ended up in NYC working at Rikers island. I heard he was last seen guarding Jeffrey Epstein.
One of the best soundtracks ever.
