Love the minis on a string 😍 haha I lol’d at the crumpets - I definitely thought the other video “oh it’s an English muffin “ 😂 Such a sweet weekend with Penny - such sweet memories made!
Laura, you are so blessed! You have a mother and a sister and the most gorgeous little girl on the planet AND you get to spend a whole weekend away with these wonderful people, whom you love and who love you. No reason to apologise for not filming, you wanted to be with them, because that was precious time. I'm so glad that you had such a good time together! Thank you so much for telling us about it and taking us along for the little bit that you did - you truly were in a magical place for a magical weekend! I hope that you can make this into an annual or even bi-annual tradition! 🌹
Laura, you are such a wonderful person, I so enjoy your videos and was happy to see you had such a great time in "Pennyland"! And thanks so much for explaining the difference between Crumpits and English muffins! I do live in Austria and unfortunately we don't have those here. Keep smiling and chilling, as it is so important to take good care of yourself! ❤
Glad you just went on with the hot water bottle cover. It looks so good and the teacher will love it. Your girls weekend sounds so lovely and the cottage looked super cosy.
Crumpets are easy to find in Canada. Little tip - split the English muffins before you put them in the freezer; so much easier to thaw or pop in the toaster. I like your Maxine colours!
I love that you took us through your thought process on the color choices for the hot water bottle cover. I always struggle with color choices and so just choose the same yarn and same colors (if possible) as the designer.
Colour really isn’t my strong point either which I why I asked Emma of Woolly Mammoth to create the colour way for the Maxine sweater 🤣 some people just have an eye for it whereas I’m like… is it beige? Ok!! 🤣🤣
Oh my gosh I had JUST told my husband apparently crumpets are English muffins literally five minutes before you explained the difference. 😂😂 I had to recant! We live in Texas, have never seen any crumpets here!
I loved your weekend ideas with"the girls!" Having no sisters and only sons and a grandson, I must do those kinds of special outings with my girlfriends or daughter-in-law. 😊❤️
That’s one of the reason we did it! My sister has 3 sons so she misses out on that connection at home so it was as much for her as it was for Penny! ☺️
The blue sweater is definitely your color... brings out your eyes beautifully!
The hot water bottle cover looks beautiful what a lucky teacher

So happy girls weekend was a success! You all deserved it ❤
Glad you just went on with the hot water bottle cover. It looks so good and the teacher will love it.

What a great idea to hang up the yarn so you can see the colors together.
P.S. you have such great music in your vlogmas 👍🏼

What a lovely way to spend the week-end with Penny ❤
Fun video! I love to see all the beautiful yarn colors
I agree - that blue sweater is gorgeous on you!
What a sweet weekend ❤

Just wanted to say that I agree that blue sweater is so beautiful on you!
What a lovely weekend you had, that sounds like a potential new tradition. So please you didn’t undo your Maxine, the colour combo looks lovely ❤️
What a lovely lovely weekend! How special. ❤️. I hope you feel very rested! Btw…. The blue looks beautiful on you!
Fun fun fun! ❤️

Just to complicate things, in Scotland crumpets are thin, like English Pikelets 😃
Haha! I’ve never had a pikelet, I must investigate this 🤣🤣
For all the US people, Trader Joe’s carries crumpets! They are completely different than an English muffin 🙂
Yesss and they are excellent! I actually tried making them. Bought the rings and everything. TJs were better 😂😂😂
@ they’re imported from England!
I tried making crumpets, but they were too yeasty and doughy with the recipe I used.😕
They’re the best! We have them in Canada too. I love them toasted well, with butter and a wee bit of peanut butter! Yum!
Use up your English muffins by making English muffin pizzas kids really like them
I grew up in Birmingham and what you called a crumpet we always called a pikelet- delicious whatever you call it!
Apparently a pikelet is thinner than a crumpet?! I’ve never tried one so I’ll be in a mission to find some 🤣🤣
Haha I opened quite the can of worms with my crumpet question, love it how you got English muffins to show the difference 😄
Haha I’m 100% here for the crumpet discussion 🤣🤣
Wolferman’s in the US ships both Muffins and crumpets. Both delicious.
Hello from Germany, where we also call this Fenchel-Anis-Kümmel-Tee "FAK-Tee". Yes, you read that right 😆
Thanks for another vlogmas, thoroughly enjoyed it ❤
Bless you, for carrying on, I can clearly see your bruise, ouch 😢x
