    Apollo X4, because it has optical output and input.💙 And so does Audient 44 MK2 for a smaller price. 💙

      Haven’t had the chance to try the Apollo X4 but it’s a great choice if you need more inputs and outputs. Since I mainly record myself, no need for 4 channels. 😊

    @Home Studio Academy
    Thanks for the video. Yes, I am at a point where I need to decide which interface to choose. I run a small studio and have been able to manage everything with larger mixers so far. I need to keep up with the times, and much of the work is now virtual and takes place 90% in the respective DAW. I have been using a Behringer Multimix 8 USB FX for years. However, this solution is no longer up-to-date and is not really an interface, but rather a mixer. Nevertheless, I can use it with the computer. So, I searched the internet, and the number of options is overwhelming. At first, I wanted to get an affordable model from Apollo, but the entry-level models lack the necessary ports. After a lot of back and forth, I ended up here. The only criticism: It is made of plastic, and the knob also feels cheap. Are there any alternatives to these three interfaces? I found the Solid State Logic (SSL) 2 USB, but whether it is any good is questionable.

      You’re very welcome! I hope you found the review useful. If you want something in between both interfaces, then my top recommendation around $400 is the Audient id24. Here is my in depth review of it:

    Always good content, informative, consistent, great visuals and coordination. If you don’t mind I’d love to know what software you’re using for editing and adding the graphics like you do (pictures, illustrations, circles, crosses, small details,…). I’m looking at camtesia, sketchwow, and a few others…

      Thank you so much! 😊 I use Final Cut Pro as my editing software and bought something called “The Ultimate Bundle” from FCPX Full Access which comes with a bunch of plugin effects and LUTs.

    Does Apollo Twin X have excellent audio filters or do I need to buy filters from Apollo?

  • @زهيرسلمان

    I am confused about which type to choose for my home studio
    There are versions
    Apollo Twin X
    Apollo Twin
    Computer Mac Apple
    Apollo Twin X
    Thunderbolt 3 Mac/Win
    Available with DUO or QUAD DSP

      The Apollo Twin X is the just latest version of the Apollo.
      I would only recommend it to MAC users because I’ve read in multiple reviews that PC user tend to have issues with it.
