Is it a problem with the ink roller if the labels are coming out dirty? If I refeed the machine, I get maybe one or two clean labels before it messes up again.

How do you clean the number dials when the dial is over inked and you can't read the numbers on the label gun. I have a Monarch model number 1136.

You can try and clean them with isopropyl alcohol and a Q-tip VERY VERY carefully. Or you can send it in to us to review, clean, and if needed, repair them.

Can anybody share a video they found on how to reassemble this type of gun when fixing it

    • @Kencolabel

We have thought of doing a video in the past, but repairs on these particular price guns just would have been more of a disservice. They are incredibly difficult to repair and have many small and fragile components. Our repair program with a flat fee is just much simpler for our customers and has less of an opportunity cost associated with it. You can find more information about our repair program from our website or contact Kenco directly and ask for our support specialist.

Was working fine but now labels aren't coming out far enough. Solution?

No jams are visible, but there is noticable resistence on the trigger release. The labels only come about half way out.

I get that you showed us how to load, but I see nothing about maintenance.

    • @Kencolabel

The only maintenance we recommend a user perform on this labeling gun is inker replacements. Anything else will generally void any warranty in place. In addition to that, these devices are generally difficult to repair. We have a dedicated team to repairing these units and I believe the current price on a repair for this model is $23.50

Kenco Label & Tag Co., LLC. Thank you for your reply. I have 4 of these, all of which started doing the same thing after 6months to a year.
When I get about half way through a roll of stickers, the gun trigger starts getting stick and I have to squeeze it twice to get a sticker out of it, this leads to a double hard to read impression. I have noticed that if I open the gun and spin the sticker spool and give it a lot of slack, this helps it not do it as bad, but it’s aggravating as I sticker 1000-2000 things a day. I was hoping maybe there was a place to oil it

It sounds like there might be adhesive buildup inside of the pricing gun. This is an issue that I have heard of with heavy users. There are other price guns that might be better suited for the large volume of labels you are putting through your price gun. As an example, the TOWA GL price gun might be a more capable pricing gun to meet your needs.

this demo is too fast, and it's hard to understand the words. I couldn't do it.

***** I took the labeler back to Staples, where I bought it, and their assembly specialist and I watched the video together. We finally figured it out. It's pretty easy once you know how..but sheesh.
