JUST WOW WOW WOW! at first I was like yes! and then I was line NO he would not, and then I was HOLY COW HE DID!!! Love the taper across the beam! super sweet! and the flipped tusk tenon is great. just the use of M@T joinery with steel is brilliant! Love the color you pulled out of it with the finish mix! so sweet!
That leg design is just brilliant! Wider and lower, it's a dining table, lower yet; a coffee table. It could have single or double stretchers.... it can go anywhere.
I was born in the USSR, we were always told first in the USSR, then in Russia that the Americans are enemies and stupid ( sorry for the directness) but with which I Have never considered. So now I am once again convinced of the opposite. My friend, all your work is solid masterpieces, everything is cool and cool. I learned a lot from your videos. Tools and materials are a sight to behold. Well, the tools that we try to buy branded, but the materials for such crafts we will be very expensive to buy. Basically, the most running profile pipe in Russia is 2 centimeters by 4 centimeters. Once again, everything is just super!!! Wish creative ideas.
I love watching you work man. I know a teeny tiny amount of woodworking but seeing the metal work and electrical work with it always amazes me. I have to say though this finish you got on this table was especially good. Great work.
Bloody amazing. Such a professional you even knife cut your sandpaper. I like the little plates right on the bottom of the feet to give the middle a few mm clearance and less chance of a wobble. I would have been too scared to make the feet narrower than the top but you know your stuff.
Outstanding work, Zack! Loved this project. Perfect combination of wood and metal. And the Dale's Pale shoutout was perfect. You should email this to Oskar Blues, they might repost it!
I can't believe I missed this. This is perfect. I have a breakfast room in my house that has been sans table for years. I haven't found anything that will work. This is ideal. I can make my own table, and I think now that my kids are old enough I'll go bar height as well. I love the look of this in every way. I may just do something as similar to this as I'm capable of. Not forcing something to work may have worked in my favor. I know have the tools and skills to pull this off. I think it may take me a little longer than 11 minutes though.
Killer job man, way to pay attention to the detail, and that slab was flawless. So glad I found your chanel. Keep up that craftsmanship, its top notch. And you cater to the things I love, wood, metal and beer!
That's a beautiful table and a fun build to watch. 3 things I noticed: the foot wedge cutting the 18 guage steel, the sandpaper cutting template and having a beer while finishing. Yeah! I have another awesome channel to watch, Thank you!
Zack - It was great getting to talk to you at the hangout before Fab Tech. My wife and I have been watching a lot of your videos and we are seriously digging your use of metal and wood. Really cool combination of the austerity of the metal combined with the organic beauty of the wood. Your use of finishes is inspired to say the least. I'm blown away by your work! Seriously, this stuff gives me something to aspire to. Keep up the great work!
I keep watching this trying to figure out the product and order in which you apply it to the table but I just cannot keep up. I want to get a finish on my next table like this one. Is there a video you have that explains the process by chance?
Very nice! That's a great looking table!
Holy crap! Jimmy last night now Bob, it's 80 degrees in Florida but it's starting to feel like Christmas!
Muy hermosa me gusto el acabado que le diste, nuevas tendencias del día.
Like that fancy foot work in beginning. Wood work, metal work, welding, etc. Truly incredible Talent Jesus. Just incredible!
Hah, thanks Rob!
This is my favorite of your builds so far. Thanks.
Hermoso trabajo. Gracias por subir el proceso.
Hermosa la mesa que buen trabajo

Thank you! It's not as difficult as it may seem, just make a lot of mistakes and stay persistent.

I also liked the idea of getting rid of the live edge.
