He went at the same level as the 1st car in the insertion lane after accelerating for 9 secs straight, from 80 to 100 km/h. He hit the brake when the VW honked. Let's say he stayed at 90. 90KM/h or 25m/s, 25*9=225. So he was at least 225 meters away from the 1st car in the insertion lane. On highway, if I'm not mistaken, we must keep a 90m distance (or 2-3secs) between us and the car in front of us, so by keeping his speed, he could've go back to it's lane, let the "racer" overtake him, and then overtake the insertion lane safely, but no, instead, he hit the brake, fell to 80km/h, then accelerated at 100km/h, and 9sec later, the VW did the brake checks. 26:51 I can't agree. First: the car is filming is currently overtakes a car on the right way. And we have this guy comming fast on his back: he brakes at the last moment, honks like crazy and stick to ass of the car in front of him: this is an agressive and dangerous behavior. Next: he overtakes on the right even though it is forbidden (yes, the filming car should be take the right way after overtake), and then he acting like an angry child, still so dangerous and agressive. All of this because this childish mother...f...er had to touch his brake pedal. Poor child, ohhh poor little child had to low his speed :'( Highway is not a videogame.
At 27:05, the speed limit is 90 km/h. You can see in the bottom right corner that the dashcam driver is driving perfectly, overtaking another driver, and not merging back to the right to allow another driver to move from the acceleration lane into the main road. What you called a slow lane is actually an acceleration lane. This means the Golf driver is CLEARLY in the wrong, driving at least 20 km/h over the legal limit, overtaking on the right, and brake-checking. This person is a menace and a danger to other drivers.

Good reaction overall, but i'm disapointed by your wrong analysis at 27:00 ; the white W is clearly overspeeding. 25:55 Pompiers = Firefighters, they are usually called on stuff like that in France, they are called on a lot of missions by french citizen whenever there is a problem.
27:44 I’m pretty sure the white car is going well over the speed limit. Yep the dashcam driver should leave the left lane imo but the other guy is way more dangerous. You can’t use whatever speed you want in the “fast lane” lol
23:25 The signage on the road allows to pass slow vehicles such as bikes, tractors, even tho it looks like the regular discontinued line it represents a different meaning. But yeah no one in their right mind would pull this on countryside roads, especially if you are unfamiliar with the curves.

It reminds me of an accident I had on a bridge when I was little. My family and I were driving at about the maximum speed allowed when a totally drunk guy hit us from behind because he was driving way too fast. Our car crossed all the lanes to end up on the sidewalk on the other side (there were 4 from memory). The other guy ended up thrown against the railing of the bridge and miraculously survived (his car though...). Afterwards he even started to want to jump off the bridge (I told you he was totally drunk). If it brings back memories (even if I doubt it), it was near Montpellier. Between Montpellier and the village of St George d'Orques (if you know it).
You should react to Maïté wich is famous in France. During the 80's and 90's she cooked within a TV show, with classic and amzing (fat) food, like ell, a burger with foie gras and duck, and other meals. She died today, but she is a legend in France.
21’45. 1) in this situation, pedestrians always have priority coz the exit of the gas station crosses the walkway. The posts are used to avoid driving assh*** parking like they usually do, not to indicate any interruption in the walkway. Same with the asphalt. It is obviously the same because it was laid when they maintained the shop, but it does not indicate that it’s a road or anything. 2) it is higly probable that he stands here either because the driver wanted to go trough although he was walking or because he saw the driver intended to go before the firemen, which is also a misdemeanor. In the end the guy believed he was a knight, which is kind of stupid, but the driver had 2 misdemeanors, did’t stand being challenged, so he committed a felony. A guy thinks he’s some superhero, the other one is a dangerous assh***. Since it was filmed, he’s probably a pedestrian with a thick police record now.
just so you know: france is next to great britain... and the english drive on the left side of the road... And they far too often forget they're in a foreign country
In France, trucks are often on "small" roads because it's too expensive for their employers to let them take the highway. You have to pay to take the highway yes, since our highways, paid with OUR taxes, were sold to a private company.
maybe late on the comment but at 2:26, the rule that apply is people on foot have priority over trafic. The cars and motorcycles did an emergency breack, but in front of the law they are liable for not prioritizing the pedestrian crossing
At 7:10, the walking man is in his right: he's walking were he can (he is not on the road), AND he expects the VW to stop to let the emergency car pass by...
Tbh sometimes I'm trying to pass a truck and a guy comes in behind me very fast and tries to push me going faster by sticking to my butt... That's a bit scary and annoying. So, no, the guy had no right doing that, on the road, it's dangerous, no matter what's been done to you, you keep your cool because it's not a game! You don't retaliate! If you're unable to do that, you shouldn't drive, get rid of your licence right away! That kind of behaviour is the reason why there are so many accidents and, for the records, who is famous for losing control of their emotions? Men!

On highway entrances in France you're supposed to stop if there are cars on the way it's a "cédez le passage" (let others pass before you they have the priority since they are faster)
You're completely right, it's an acceleration lane but the issue is that they have a corner with a 50km/h limitation and as there isn't an end to the limitation, the cars stay at 50km/h until the enter the highway. That's the issue.

Basically in France : In case of vital emergency -> *18* firefighters as they save ppl on the place (even can extricate ppl out of vehicles) In case of problem requiring an OPJ (Officier de Police Judiciaire) -> *17* In case of problem but not a vital emergency -> *15* as you will be communicatign with a doctor, who will decide if they call you an ambulance OR the firefighters if they think it's a vital emergency AND MAYBE the police if needed If you can't call these numbers for any reason, you can call *112* in the whole Europe. If you can't do noise, like we seen it during the bataclan in 2017, the *114* is using text messages, originally this number was created for deaf and blind people.
18:38 Yeah, you're right but it seems there is construction work, so he has to take the wrong way. At least that's what the caption says. His girlfriend (Misa) is driving the front car, she just got her license.
Lots of people driving too fast... Though people in Europe tend to drive better, simply because getting a driving license is a LOT more complicated, difficult, and expensive than in the US and can be suspended or canceled easily and quickly. In France, it costs between 800 and 2000 euros on average to get a license, because there are mandatory lessons and training. It's not just a brief parallel parking exam on a DMV parking lot for 20 bucks like in some US states. Some people repeatedly fail their driving license exam, costing them several thousands of euros. I know someone for whom it took like 6 or 7 years before obtaining it. Getting his driving license did cost more than his car... There's a say : in Europe driving is not a right, it's a privilege that should be earned and can be lost. As for good or bad drivers, women generally drive better and take fewer risks than men. If it was possible, insurances would be substantially cheaper for female drivers.

I can't agree.
Poor child, ohhh poor little child had to low his speed :'(
Highway is not a videogame.
8:00 perfect synchro " et voilà!" you are 100% french now
Good reaction overall, but i'm disapointed by your wrong analysis at 27:00 ; the white W is clearly overspeeding. The dashcam car overtake a car and stay on the left lane to allow cars to enter the highway from the accelerating lane. The white W overtake from the right then brake check the dashcam car. White W is 100% wrong in this case.
25:55 Pompiers = Firefighters, they are usually called on stuff like that in France, they are called on a lot of missions by french citizen whenever there is a problem.
They are called fire soldiers because they are soldiers of the civil security branch divided into two forces, the gendarmerie and the firefighter
Pompier have médic and ambulance too in France.
curves for a body > courbes, curves for a road > tournant/virage
❤❤❤❤
Yes ! The eel sequence ! 😲
15:20 it's the song Jingle bells of Sinatra "Vive le vent d'hiver" in french, used in a radio publicity
With a bad driver, we sometimes says in france: he gets is driving licence in a washing machine box.

@0Franck0 😂
j'aime beaucoup tes vidéo et tu parles tres bien français
25:54 yes this is fireman
J'adore t'entendre dire le mot "bagnole" 😅
Men!
the guy at 7:15 is not an idiot, he tried to stop the car from cutting the road to the ambulance, as we can see from the dashcam of the car (which parked to the side for the ambulance to pass) 😘
Btw, curve = virage
In the 29 minutes, is my town. Yssingeaux in Haute-Loire. Whoah !!!!!!
Tu me régale! Continu!!!!

I thiunk i can find more, but this is the only ones , i remember now. French language is rich ahah.
24:52 Chéry, j'ai garé la wouature ! :)
In France there is a problem with people driving in the midle of the road. They don't understand how dangerous they are.
hey you speak verry well french bravo beau travail exelent from france gar
20:05 very epic with Bohemian Raphsody ^_^
13:40 Those are mostly disoriented and panicked elder people.
27:50 "Driving like grandma" in France means driving at the speed limit. The white car was obviously overspeeding a lot.
At the speed limit sign 80 it still said: Left lane only for vehicles under 3.5 tons (European tons!!!)
26.53 the car filming is already driving at the speed limit.
The white ww is speeding, overtakes from the right and brakechecks him.
The white ww is absolutly wrong in this case.
pompier or firefighters doesn't intervene only with fire task, they are also paramedics
13:00 I had a head-on collision in Knoxville with an old man who came in the exit ramp, he was just confused, not drunk.
24:29 zeus qui invoqué 3 sangliers xd
7:00 He probably wanted to prevent him from cutting off the emergency vehicle.
4:45 that's in Belgium apparently, not France
14:57 SAFETY DISTANCES !!! Dude's driving waaaay too close !
27:30 No sorry, you are wrong here. he is overtaking ( you can see in the front dashcam after )
if it's limited to 130 km/h and someone drive at a 170 km/h, you think you can overtake, but sundenly, an idiot is in your miror.
You can't anticipate if people are going way faster than they should.
eng : he prevents the car from blocking the firefighters who have priority
Funny, to see an American starting to comment IN french ! (His wife is French, apparently)
2:03 by chance, french car insurances totally cover this damage ^_^
2:40 "ça c'est une femme" full real
30:43 BMW driver, sounds about right
Salut de 🇧🇪 😉
Toujours sympa de savoir qui fait quoi
18:52 road close due to repairs. Must go that way. It's exolained at the begenning of the sequence.
Curses , "Courbes" in French.
Some years ago, i hit a deer at almost 140 km/h (~90mph) it's very impressive ^_^, the side airbag cames out, and the car unworked since some minutes. it was at night, so my father came to get the body of the deer, but he never got it, we never know where did it fly xD. Drive safe :)
Basically in France :
In case of vital emergency -> *18* firefighters as they save ppl on the place (even can extricate ppl out of vehicles)
In case of problem requiring an OPJ (Officier de Police Judiciaire) -> *17*
In case of problem but not a vital emergency -> *15* as you will be communicatign with a doctor, who will decide if they call you an ambulance OR the firefighters if they think it's a vital emergency AND MAYBE the police if needed
If you can't call these numbers for any reason, you can call *112* in the whole Europe.
If you can't do noise, like we seen it during the bataclan in 2017, the *114* is using text messages, originally this number was created for deaf and blind people.
15 is more if you want somebody to tell you to go yourself at the hospital
18:38 Yeah, you're right but it seems there is construction work, so he has to take the wrong way. At least that's what the caption says. His girlfriend (Misa) is driving the front car, she just got her license.

I did it! but they are blocked on youtube for reactors, so I had to put it on my Rumble channel
