This game is just beautiful... DLSU really is great to have Winston on their team... He really is a great scorer for them.
Winston finally adjusted in the Philippine game and it made dividends. They’ll definitely miss him next season. I know Nonoy and Nelle are still there but his offensive creativity is unmatched

@@gaboro9925 yup. He played at Cal for his freshman year, transferred to Central Michigan where he sat out a year before playing there for a year, then transferred to DLSU where he did he sat out a year and has season 84 and 85 as his only eligibility in the league.
This is what I want to see sa Philippine Basketball. Coach Tab is a precursor for other coaches to innovate. Tataas lalo antas ng basketball sa UAAP

Last year La salle needs a closer and, this year they finally found a guy who knows how to closeout games and that is Schonny Winston! Animo LaSalle 💚
They already have Winston last season, it's just that Evan Nelle always have the ball in crunch time before, which is not as effective as Winston having the ball in crucial part of the game.
@@rgvrgra Evan Nelle is asked to set up the table.. i think after 1 yr, coaches/players have figured out the closer (Winston, would rather have an iso than being set up on a play by the PG, he has the bag to maneuver, might as well let him create his shot)

Ateneo has been dominating Uaap since coach Tab came to the league. Now teams are finding their own ways to beat them by preparing really well way before the season started. La Salle can celebrate this victory but they must be as consistent as ateneo game day by game day for them to carry out their goals this season.

Ateneo played a good game but obviously La Salle wants it more and their roster is much deeper.and composed now compare to previous season, if Padrigao was off that's when the problem begins on Ateneo side that's why coach Tab keep Garcia in the game even if he was missing a lot giving him confidence and what it feels like playing in front of big crowd just the same Balungay had his breakout game,.the Blue Eagles is under transition period they'll get better as the season progress, Congrats to Dlsu.
I agree, the star factor in ateneo is their big man. I commend his hussle plays and blocks! I also saw how they throw posessions like second chance opportunities in the outside and that caused them a lot in this game. Congrats La Salle for the win!

they were doing relatively well the whole game actually, but in the 4th offense just went stagnant and shooting ice cold. That was hard to watch honestly.

i match nyo lang tlga ung consistent energy ng ateneo throughout the game. ateneo always intimidate their opponent through their tight defense hanggang ma rattle, ma pressure ung kalaban. alam na ng UP LASALLE ung style nila kaya mina match nila ung defense ng ateneo kagaya ng ginawa ng lasalle ngaun na wholecourt press. nganun na fe feel din ng ateneo ma pressure, ma rattle na hnd na hawak ni coach tab on the court.
