In Aboriginal belief, we are all visitors to this place, we are just passing through.
Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to love and to grow. Then we return
home to the stars.
This EP hosts two tracks in collaboration with some of my dearest friends.
The title track features Coedie McCarthy, a Yidinji Mbar Barrum man from
Northern New South Wales. Telling the story of my connection to my father
through music and his journey home. The second track is a remix to Sideways
featuring Narli, a Yaegl Bundjalung man from Northern New South Wales. His
incredibly potent poetry leaves you in awe and puts a beautiful twist on this
original by Seven Monkeys (Major7 & Capitial Monkey)
Dedicated to Bill Crooks, may his memory live on forever. I will see you again,
when my time comes . to return home.
