Tier 6 Extreme Difficulty is running on a heavily modified version of the game where AI cars are swapped to Tier 5/6 cars and make up times adjusted to Tier 6. A showcase of what the game could have been if EA have not rushed it and as a final goodbye.

Bytheway where did you install this mod?
I've tried to beat this game with a tier 5 car - El Camino "Puppet". Very fast, but hard to control. I wonder, could you achieve "suicidal" with this car?

@Anatoliy Lapin You can achieve it by driving under that rock on 210mph+, 212 or 213 will secure Suicidal achievement.
Any car below tier 5 cant do this because they will crushed by the rock before they passed it. Check on his video about "Suicidal" achievement and he already tried a lot of it and it failed for Tier 4 cars.
Man, seeing that Koenigsegg get demolished like that, making you the only racer to have survived, makes the outro of the stage even more powerful. Awesome vid

When EA Blackbox was still around. It's a shame that they left; and from Independence Pass, it shows how creative and dangerous the devs made some of these races for the player.

racing a koenigsegg as well. not to mention how hard fought they were for the race while also worrying about avalanches and slippery roads on a mountain summit. i also loved how he gave no fucks about the warning. movie vibes not gonna lie

Independence Pass reminds me of the Canyon Races from NFS Carbon but way more intense. I get goosebumps watching the whole race 😂😅

12:19 imagine you have to drive this route, but with Shift 2 style of simulation, you must drive via driver's view only, and it is required to drive this route with no exception + permadeath (which you can still make mistake but cost you to start the game again)...
Reward: one chance in a lifetime to drive your favourite racing team's car in real life.

It would be just perfect. You just have to do some tweaks to shift 2’s weird handling, but that would make for an immersive, intense and fun game

I'm not sure if anyone ever noticed this but that Koenigsegg actually survived getting yeeted by that rock. If you look at the top left of the screen you'll see that magically that Koenigsegg happens to be only 2 seconds behind IsuckAtDriving and once he enters the tunnel you can actually see that Koenigsegg's headlights right behind him.

I was looking at the real map of Independence pass while watching this, and obviously it has it's differences but all in all, very similar, blackbox did their hw.
